As mentioned in a few comments, this is the best UA-cam video if you are actually replacing the gas cap housing on a Ford F-150 2001-2006. Pay close attention to the tabs you have to unclip. the angles in which you take the housing out and put back in. I found it easiest to just watch a segment or portion of the video, go out and do it and then come back and watch it again if things aren't working. Great job Fixer. Thanks.

This is by far the best guide on UA-cam. I was having the hardest time getting the housing back in after I removed it.

Will, if you’re looking for the link to the part, it is in the description of the video. On mobile you have to hit the down arrow under the video to see the description. On desktop, there is probably a “read more” button.

So it's better to do it when the plastic is warm and more pliable but generally cake walk. Thanks for sharing

Is is still attached and just broken off? If so, maybe you could epoxy it on. If not, you may have to try to find one at a junkyard that’s the same color, or eBay, or try to buy a new one somewhere.

@@brianmolina4305 I haven't figured out a way to do it easily yet. There is a metal click attached to a plastic piece. The plastic piece snaps off. It would be difficult to repair.
