Hi everyone, this is our weekly podcast Sit and Knit for a Bit, about everything and anything. No need to knit or craft, but we reccomend to Sit for a Bit!

I've been struggling through my statistics homework while I'm all stuffed up from a cold and this was such a nice break with a cup of coffee. I love following your travels. Thank you for continuing Sit and Knit for a Bit.
When I went back to school a numbers of years ago, I had to take statistics for my B A, I had the best professor! She had a way to make it so simple. So when I asked her in the beginning, is this all there is to this, meaning they were all algebraic, she said, yes basically, they just get longer, just go through each one in order. I got an A+ in that class! Even though I never got better than C’s in algebra, but I knew the formulas.

I have enjoyed this podcast from Italy. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures. Arne's idea of climbing out the bathroom window to do the podcast from the roof would have been very exciting but who knows what mishaps could have occurred. Perhaps it was for the best to be earth bound and safe. Your stories and adventures are amazing and it seems that wherever you go in the world things happen around you. It is good to see you both looking so happy and relaxed. Like the birds that are flitting around my yard the two of you are finally able to fly freely again to distant places that spark your creative minds with inspiration. Free at last!

I am so envious of all the lucky people who get to go on this garden tour with you! I hope you will be showing us the tour on some of your podcasts. You're not a tourist, you're a part of the family, and get to see what the local life is really like.

I've been sitting and knitting while I binge watch your podcast. I am making a fine lace stole for my daughter's upcoming wedding. (my own pattern with motifs meaningful to my daughter and her fiance.). The wedding is on June 18 so I am "under the gun", so to speak. You keep my spirit light! Good knitting frame of mind. thank you.

Thank you for giving us a window into your creative process and life. I once saw a quilter who had a jacket she embroidered while she traveled. If the airplane was cold she could wear it. It was an ongoing project she said she had worked on for several years.

I enjoyed this episode immensely. It was wonderful to see the church tower behind you, look at the garden, and hear the birds chirp while you were telling about your gourmet and shopping experiences in the island of Burano. I appreciated hearing about the glass shop your friends own and hearing about the art you saw and the wonderful restaurants you ate at. The tassels are pieces of art, as are your necklaces. I laughed out loud a couple of times: "I am all about the food, Arne is all about the shopping - that's how it is in this household." LOL. Well, at least Venice provided something for both of you.😉 The final view as you were leaving the island was just lovely.

You are always interesting to listen to. Even if there is no knitting or crochet explainations. We can travel with you, in a way. Listening to you, I find myself smiling during every episode. You make my day every time. (We still have to wear a mask until May 15, at least, because there is a big increase in
hospitalisations).

Hi Chris...what color are you using for your centers if you are using the Rowan Felted Tweed recommended? I ordered the color "Mineral" as I wanted it to look close to Arne's centers.
@@antoniahall7507 I'm using Stonehenge Fibers Shepherd's Wool, it's been my go to yarn for color work so I have a significant stash! I'm using three yellows one is called buttercup. It's a fun project! 😊

I watched this episode while my husband was cooking pasta, which was just as well because you made me so hungry talking about all the delicious food you have eaten on your travels. My bucket list includes eating my way around Italy. The artisan beads and tassels are also lovely. I think Sit and Knit for a Bit on the road is going to be very interesting. Thanks for sharing! Incidentally, if you go in to any thrift stores on your travels, that would be good to see too. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip.

Dearest Arne and Carlos.. I am writing this to express my utmost delight in you and your you tube channel. I have been ill but am recovering nicely. During my recoveryI ordered your book Arne and Carlos Favorite Designs. There is not one pattern that doesn't appeal to me. This book is phenomenal. I highly recommend it. I now am looking for your other books as some are hard to find. Everything you do for your channel is so uplifting in this chaotic world. I have started the spring along and it's working out nicely. I just love having a visit with you fella's! Thank you for sharing your time, thoughts and activities with the viewing audience. I quilt, knit and also do other forms of needlework and crafts. When I'm enjoying your podcasts thats the time to get the Regia sock yarn out and continue knitting cozy socks for family, friends and, of course, myself. What a holiday. The tassels are stunning. Your travels let me see things I never will in person. I really appreciate it. Kate has taken us on a few road trips and I almost get car sick, haha. Not that her driving is bad! The country roads wind and dip and it is just so fun to see walls that the Romans built and building that were mad centuries ago. Beautiful country around the world.
