Thanks so much for the great and informative video. Helped me understand this a lot more. Now I can get this pool sorted for my kids to enjoy over the summer. Thanks from NZ 😊
Thanks for making this video. We did ours and water came out slow. We had the tubing wrong and because of that now we got more pressure in the water. Thanks for being detailed. It made it simple to figure it out versus the instructions.
Question what can I do if I’m not feeling the suction for the ports B as shown in your video at 12:05 time I did everything you shown and it’s helped a lot I’m trying to restore my pool for the summer me and my wife have been working hard on it shocking it putting the right chemicals I’ve skimmed it and vaccines many times but it’s still all the way clear.
Good question: I did think initially think that-- I have Fusion360 and an Ender 3D printer, but then I thought, "Let's make a Sand Filter set up video instead!" 😂
It's possible that you have something that is loose that isn't allowing it to come up to a higher pressure. Maybe try tightening some of the fittings, or screwing the top part down a little bit more so the gasket can seal better.
@@brandygaddy7429 I know it's quite old video, but i got similiar problem. Solution is simple - ideal pressure is under 0.25. Here is part of the text from original sandfilter notes - "Generally, the recommended sand filter pressure is less than 0.25 Bar (3.5 PSI) when it is running.". So don't worry, everythin works fine.
I thought you were supposed to keep the cap on when back washing for 5 minutes then take it off when you switch it to rinse to rinse the dirty water out after the back wash 🤨

Not sure--maybe take it back to square one and redo everything--you might have missed something along the way.
Did you get it figured out?
I have this same pump filter yours deff moves more water then mine
Sorry
You are correct,
I was wrong , i only ordered my pump last night 🤭🤭
Awesome video thank you
Thanks mate
Cheers
Did you ever try 3d printing an impeller? I know reverse engineering can be a little tricky.

What setting do you use when you are vacuuming out algae?
I don't usually change the setting when I'm vacuuming algae as it doesn't usually drop lower than the intake hose ports.
What if the pressure is 0.2?
It's possible that you have something that is loose that isn't allowing it to come up to a higher pressure. Maybe try tightening some of the fittings, or screwing the top part down a little bit more so the gasket can seal better.
Did you get this problem fixed? I’m having the same problem…..everything seems right but my pressure won’t get on 0.2.
