@@ashleylightheart126 a fanon theory that was confirmed like 20 years ago. We have seen meta knight without his mask like 17 times in the series. It's not a fantheory lol. They recently even redesigned meta Knight's eyes, which were white before, to be full yellow now.
About meta knight not being cheerful, why do you think he is shy about showing his face and wears a mask to avoid that? He is of the same species as kirby under his mask. And he may not be as cheerful, but he is as much of a dork as dedede even if he tries to not show it lol
