- Join us as we go on a Market Hunt in McLeod Ganj! Plus, we have two delicious meals: D.Town Bakery and the Tibetan Kitchen. This is going to be a video unlike any we have ever made! The first thing you will notice is that Jonathan is missing! Well, he isn’t missing, he just can’t join us. He caught a stomach bug (his first stomach bug in 8 years of traveling) and can’t be away from a bathroom. So, the kids and I (Kelly) are heading out on the town for food and a market. Join us as we explore the streets of this beautiful mountain town. We find street food vendors, lots of trinkets and hand-made crafts, a musician, and even an arcade! We definitely missed having Jonathan with us, but we hope you enjoy this anyways! Don’t worry, he will be back in the next video.

ABOUT US
We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. We hope that our travels will inspire and provide our children with the confidence to meet new people, try new foods, and enjoy learning a new language. We hope our vlogs will inspire you to get out and travel, too!

They are disciplined because in the schools 🏫 the teachers teach a lot of basic things with the education,like how to walk on the side of streets,clean if you see dirty anywhere,don't throw garbage 🗑 everywhere,respect olders,be honest,respect government poverty as own,pay the taxes to build the country and more which i don't know all,i see here in Japan like that,that's why Japanese kids are also well disciplined.
Sandesh, agree with you these kids are so matured and disciplined. I think that’s one thing most of us need to learn from western culture, how to raise our kids. I learnt a lot from the video itself, the way parents talk and treat the kids basically treating them like adults!

The small bakery - Tibet Quality Bakery, you crossed (next to the Post Office ) on your way to the breakfast place is run by the sweetest person you could come across and makes the freshest bakery items. Especially the whole grain bread. Got about 5 loaves back to Delhi from him. It supplies to many B&Bs in the area. Also do go to Palampur if you guys can for tea estates and the Neugal Cafe.

Hi. You can get " Bifilac" Tablet in any medicine outlet shops.. It is to increase resistance to bad foods. It is a form of probiotic ( found in curd/yogurt/ butter milk/lassi).. When having spicy food outside, it is always a must to complete your food with curd/butter milk/lassi
One tip for people travelling India specially western countries...
don't eat too many varieties of food at one go specially street food if you're not used to spices. Even Indians don't eat lot street food at one go. We eat home cooked food mostly and street food is not something you should consume too much. Drink lot of water and lassie it will keep your stomach in good condition.
For main three meals fix a good place according to your convenience.
