I am glad you had the will to have common sense win out in the end. I would send the Pres. a copy of your video with a note " Dear Mr. President attached video FYI" and see what is their response. Ray Stormont
What a pain! You did the engineers work unfortunately! Why do engineers too often forget about maintenance and repairs! Thanks for recording your adventure!
I almost bought the same edger, woodmizer gave me location of one close by. Iwent to see it and the guy turn me off of it , for same reason your having . Plus he is heavy into cutting fresh pine and said the rubber in an outfeed belts were a bear to keep clean of pitch. I ended up buying a froze up edger he had w/o a motor. I just did a short using it. Only problemis i do no the brand. it works great , can edge 20 inch flitches
Yes if we run pine the belt fills up with sawdust and pitch but we keep the air hose close by and clean it a couple times during the day . Thx for watching
It's hard to see, but could some of those bearing blocks be unbolted and rotated 180 degrees or would that point the grease fitting in another hard location? Ooops, I guess I should have watched longer before commenting...great minds think alike 😁
It's to bad you guys had to go through all of that just to grease your machine and glad you turned that fan off couldn't hardly here you good job guys
Thx it's much better to service now .

The 4 on top if roasted would get hit by the boards passing thru the edger .
Thanks for watching.
I think the machine is perfect the way it is. I think they should have put all the fittings in hard to reach places just for you! 😈
