Hello Isabelle,
There are a number of interpreting schools focused on French. DG Interpretation works with ESIT and ISIT in Paris, Mons and ISTI in Belgium, and ETI in Geneva. For the US, look to Georgetown or Monterrey - but their main focus is not French. Good luck! :-)

Interprétation "simplifiée" rime non pas avec "plus fiable" mais avec "de piètre qualité". Car si l'on simplifie le message, on en élimine des parties, et ce n'est pas à l'interprète de décider des informations à éliminer. Nous faisons de la transmission, pas du montage cinéma!
