Pennywise feeds on the kids. The fear 'seasons' the meat. It is also what makes the adults seem more abusive and uncaring. Hoping you react to Chapter II very soon and don't wait until next year!

If you read/watch enough Stephen King, you'll notice a running theme of bad parents. There's a line from the book where one of the kids is thinking "Adults are the real monsters." The original adaptation was a made-for-TV movie, and couldn't go very far with the scares. I preferred this version greatly. The house on Neibolt street was a huge set piece from the book that never made it into the TV version, which also never explained IT's origins (which gets covered in part 2).

Same for me. I usually don’t watch horror movies because I’m too much of a chicken lol. But this movie was not really scary, which can be a good or bad thing depending on who you ask. I wished Pennywise was more scary but he got less and less scary throughout the film, unfortunately.

There’s a sequel, IT: Chapter Two, where they all return to Derry 27 years later (since Pennywise, IT, returns to the town every 27 years), and James McAvoy plays grownup Bill. The thing about Pennywise, that you have to understand, is It becomes/takes the shape of what a child fears the most.
In the Book, Pennywise appears to each kid as what they are most afraid of. The red baloons are a prelude to Pennywise appearing. IT is actually an extra terrestrial being that sleeps for 27 years, then wakes up to feed for 27 years. It lives in the sewers below Derry.
different people afraid from different things, there's no such a thing like 'this one is scary for everybody and that one is not', so this movie is one of the scariest movies for me (not just for jumpsacres) and i watched many other horror movies

Rana & Pat: *SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS*
Mickey: Thats pretty cool
So living for this trio right here. More please! xD
Listen, I loved this so much 😂😂😂 please I need you three to watch more scary things lmao
reina..." i thought this was a Clown movie WTF is this!!...Clown finally shows up in the Library Chase Scene..AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
Pat and Rana's fear was so hilarious to watch. I'm sorry lol
I think this might be the best reaction to a movie I've seen LOL. reactions to jump scares were priceless XD
Loving your reactions to this so far and I'm only 15 minutes on this video 😁😁 cant wait for part 2
12:31 i cant believe they didn't notice the librarian looking at ben because she is controlled by pennywise.
I have never laughed this much to a Horror movie!
kids: cleaning the bloody room
dad: sees 2x clean bathroom
"That's what she said" 28:08
I NEED YOU 3 TO REACT TO THE SEQUEL!! lol it was such a fun ride watching you guys 😂
Rana "who gets the girl?" Well, everyone...
Lol yup….
And it was her idea, which makes me think those bullies weren't lying, but who knows
>Watches with the lights on
>With friends
>Being filmed
>Already read the book
>TV across the room with glare
"I didn't think it was that scary!"
I'm so desensitized to horror, it was a treat watching people super scared of this. I envy you.
Go watch mrballen lol, he has the best stories.
In the Book, Pennywise appears to each kid as what they are most afraid of. The red baloons are a prelude to Pennywise appearing. IT is actually an extra terrestrial being that sleeps for 27 years, then wakes up to feed for 27 years. It lives in the sewers below Derry.
whoever the man is who said this is the only movie to ever truly scare him needs to watch like…any other horror movie
I feel like this is the only movie I could watch by myself and be mildly scared afterwards
exactly lmao, this is a great movie but definitely a 1/10 in terms of scariness
different people afraid from different things, there's no such a thing like 'this one is scary for everybody and that one is not', so this movie is one of the scariest movies for me (not just for jumpsacres) and i watched many other horror movies
Pennywise has some sort of aura, that makes you not question stuff like “why is there a clown in the sewers” in the book they explain that, that doesnt matter how weird it is, you somehow dont feel unease or anything, until penny wants you to get scared
cant wait to see chapter 2 reaction! rana and pat reactions had me dying lol
The thumbnail is killing those two are fraking out and the other guy is just sipping soda😂😂
This is one of the funniest reaction to a horror movie I've seen yet.
Did anyone notice the creepy library teacher in the background 😂😂😂
