Ruby Gap Gorge - Highlights

One of my favourite places in central Australia - driving deep into the Ruby Gap Nature Park. Most of this is actually a walking track but driving is still allowed. Also a few photos at the end of the video.

exhaust sounds meaty... what intake and exhaust are you running

Pacemaker extractors made a nice difference, there's also custom 2.5" exhaust. Intake changes are snorkel, resonator(?) box removal and supercharger - these didn't do much for the sound though

yeah i've been eyeing off extractors for my v6 hilux for ages... exspensive tho with full exhaust

Is that all on the main track headed into Ruby Gap? Or have you headed a little off the track for some more fun? I'm headed back up to the Centre in a couple of months and trying to figure out if it is worth heading out to Ruby. From Arltunga how long would you estimate the drive took. Thinking it could be a bit tricky after all this rain they are getting at the moment.

+Andrew Miles 1.5 hours from Arltunga to the beginning of Ruby Gap camping area. The next 5km river bed track (easy/medium grade) provides multiple choices for a camping spot, and if you continue through that you'll reach a sign. The sign marks the beginning of the 6km walking track into the gorge - it's the same river bed, except proceeding via vehicle is no longer recommended. This highlights video shows that last section, the 6km walking track, which most people would not drive.
