Born and bread in the potteries for 60 years, 14 years ago retired to Llandudno, I hope I never take the Beauty of where we live for granted, the pier is now owned by Tir Prince, the wheel spends Christmas in Sheffield , comes home for the summer , as does the fish and chip shop at the entrance to the pier. For us oldies the music on the pier is loud and prevents us from relaxing and taking in the beauty, but I am sure the younger generation love it. Llandudno once had a fantastic sandy beach, but this was replaced by stone to help with the sea defences. Locals are campaigning to replace the stone with sand and groins. West shore has a fantastic beach. The council has spent millions on the sea front in Rhos. Sand has been dredged from the sea bed to make up levels and all the prom has been revamped. Probably the best sea front in Wales. Seagulls are a nuisance, and can be dangerous, that is why they should not be encouraged by feeding them, they can cause some nasty injuries . Thank you for your review of my hometown
