It was as much a minority uprising for rights and resources as it was a crazy cult leader trying to entice people and a failed attempt to woo outside forces to help (however he didn’t really understand Christian theology so that didn’t work at all).

Been having fun with the game, and although the warfare system is mid and very lackluster, the rest of the game revolving around government forming and market structure is levels above the system in Vic 2. I was talking mad shit about this game, but after playing it, I’m starting to find it better than Vicky 2 in a lot of ways.
Yeah the warfare is a bit eh. I mean, I like the idea of your generals doing their own shit and not micromanaging...but I think they need to work on the system more before I'd say it actually approaches their intent.
@@Pulstar232 it’s strange to me that paradox would think fans would switch from a fully micro managed war system that requires your total input unless dealing with rebels, and then switching to a few clicks and hoping you don’t blunder on your first engagement, but honestly after giving it a try I’m finding the system far more adaptable, though obviously not as enjoyable or thrilling.
@@Abstract_FWTXI always hated having to move every single army in other PDX games, nine times out of ten trying to get just one army into an advantageous position left me ignoring all the other armies and thus they were either getting curbstomped or were just standing around not contributing anything. I always would either resort to just one or two really big armies or just letting the AI handle all the warfare for me because it just got tedious and frustrating. I much prefer this system.
A better system would have been where you start of moving single armies. And then every mil tech woyld unlock features similaire to HOI4 army mechanics with frontlines. Woyld be alot better than what we have@@craftsmenMC
