@@spencerdurette2859 well His Czechomongolian empire saga back then certainly left a huge impression on me. The only fail that I see him done during that campaign, Swimmy learn the hard way that the game does not accommodate lasting Huge empire like in EU4 or Vicky games, and yet he still manage to reviving his empire again after losing it

Idk about allies I think it’s more of a “join me or die” type deal
It doesn't even feel like it was because Swimmy was some diplomatic mastermind or anything this game, he kind of just bumbled into having allies.

Now I get why people give Swimmy zero wiggle room when he goes all warmonger. The moment you sacrifice people to him he'll gaslight them into allies but make him the bad guy and he just goes full tyrant zero fucks to give. Also...Braun outing Golden's steam page was a low move I dont blame Golden for siding with Germany
And people keep helping him do it, despite his long standing, storied history of happily stabbing his allies in the back the moment they stop being useful.

Not gonna lie, the Victoria 3 content has been fantastic. The betrayals and fumbles are hilarious.
Good on swimmy for actually making allies in Vic3. Golden was very salty the rest of the nations left him out to dry against swimmy, so getting him on as an ally for the price of Alsace is pretty good as he's likely to stay allied out of spite for the others if swimmy backs his plays in return.
Golden even got Alsace back, lol
He won't the episode ends in a swimmy classic involving his allies and buses and a predictable demise.

This is the best recreaction of the Fall of France I've ever seen. Swimmy wins so hard France becomes his pet, Italy throws in their lot with Germany, and all the allies start bickering amoungst themselves over who to blame.
Its actually better here then IRL. Here the English were very clear where they stood as opposed to IRL where they got involved, fled, then sunk the French Navy on the way out crippling France ability to resist long term. Also IRL france had underground resistance movements the whole time.

I read the little script in the beginning of the video and was like "ok ok cool this boutta be a good video". And then I ask myself "But who might be playing Prussia ? Surely a good player like Bokoen or Golden, or maybe someone we don't expect like Thomas or Schaeffer."
While I was right on the latter, I couldn't expect SUCH a surprise : Swimmy, the comic-relief of the Bokoenverse, formed Germany in late 1840s and made France and Italy, both controlled by good players, PLEDGE THEIR ALLIEGANCE TO HIM. This truly feels like the God-Emperor of Mankind just whooping opposition left right and center during the Unification Wars.
Swimmy always puts his chips on the power plays, wether he cashes them in or burns the engine in the middle of the track is another story but reading the starting script definitely sounded like a "swimmy power play gone right" one
