MAN i look at these dates and i'm like. she's 20 in this video. part of me is stunned by that amount of talent(/hard work) and how captivating she is. and part of me is like 'she's TWENTY. in PARIS. with like TWO PEOPLE SHE KNOWS. THAT'S TERRIFYING.' to clarify: my most vivid memory of age 20 is being awake at 4 am, having still not been able to get anything done, lying on my back on the table of the art building computer lab staring at the ceiling and vaguely depersonalizing to (usually manchester orchestra) because no one was there so i could play music out loud. like. ???? and i think about that and i'm like "what the fuck" at what she's accomplished, and also, the part of me that is a decade older wants to go back in time and be like "HOLY SHIT, let me give you a hug and like, a hot beverage. in the future i will lie around having feelings about your lyrics but in 2016 i don't know that so it's not weird yet, or something."
