My take: I think if Given-Taken represented their whole journey lyrically, Let Me In did it symbolically. From being in the warehouse, just kids having fun (pre-debut, normal kids), following the red light (discovering idol path), being in space (honing their talents, their dreams being limitless), then the forest where they’re play-fighting and looking down on someone in a grave (I-Land, how they had to vote each other out and throw someone under the bus), the forest being a front for a terrarium where they're like animals being watched in a zoo (having cameras 24/7 in I-Land), breaking free of it eventually (post-I-Land), only to take plastic off them like they were manufactured (kpop industry treating idols as products), then confined in a transparent cube for everyone to see (their life now as idols). The blank look behind a glass enclosure while saying the lines "I’ll be your boyfriend" + "Maybe I might hurt you" "I might shatter your perfection" from earlier into the video seems like a call-out to kpop culture (fans viewing idols as their boyfriends) as well. This song initially seemed very tongue-in cheek with its cheesy fanservice-y lyrics but the MV really gave it a whole different meaning.

I said this before to some of my friends. The forest Enhypen are running through reminds me of the forest TXT hid in during there debut era. As we seen in Crown, TXT became different monsters just like how Enhypen became vampires in Given-Taken. Jungwon was the one who drank the blue liquid. He's the leader and also the one who bit the members first. The glass box Enhypen found is the same box Soobin was trapped in during TXT's teaser. They found him hence the handprints. Seeing Soobin caused them to find out the secret which is why they're trying to escape. As I mentioned beforehand, Jungwon drank the liquid so it's too late. The plastic veil reminds me of a cocoon. Cocoons represent change or a new beginning for butterflies. This debut us Enhypen new beginning. Their change is becoming vampires

But they are trying to break it. And at the end they did..... As for the song... it's like they are singing what kpop is like now. I have a theory on how this connects to the anime the promised neverland, but its quite long but i'll still drop it here, hopefully it'll make some sense :> promised neverland is about an orphanage in which the caretakers ship off the kids to demons as their food. the kids are unaware before they get shipped because they are told that they are being adopted by nice people. in the mv, you see references to this, them being in this werehouse, wrapped in plastic, which i also think kind of symbolises how the truth is hidden from them. i think the members were trying to save themselves. and i think there are two different worlds (they even mention it in the songs and lyrics) and maybe, what they do in one world reflect on the other? so maybe they turned back time so they can go save themselves before something bad happens? a character in the promised neverland called connie (if you watch given taken mv, you will see how sunoo holds onto this bear just like connie does in the promised neverland, which is why we think connie is sunoo :)) realised something was wrong before she was getting shipped off, and so, she left the bear behind at the orphanage. here in the mv, you see many gummy bears and i think they are actually hints left by the members to find themselves later. towards the end of the mv, we see them finding themselves, the glass breaks, and the wraps they had earlier, they take them off, so maybe they did save themselves or found out the truth just like how in the promised neverland, they find out the truth later. and i think the reason why the song is called let me in (20 cube) is because through that cube, they are able to escape or go into the other world - (you see this blackhole kind of cube appearing in the mv and the members going into it) and the whole galaxy/space thing, maybe thats like another dimension that connects both worlds bc you see the cube appearing before they enter into this place and when they are leaving it too. even the mv has 3 different outfits (2 different outfits for 2 different worlds, and this astronaut kind of one for this dimension that connects the two worlds) :> i hope this helped you to understand some of the symbolism they used, and im sorry for this being awfully long ;-; and this is only a theory so we don't really know if this is what they went for shdgh :'>
I just had an idea and I hope it makes sense. If they are continuing the theme from Given Taken then it kind of makes sense for them to be on display in a museum, especially since they were vampires in Given Taken and that's what humans do. They put things, creatures, and animals on display in museums. And maybe they were just trying to break out of the display they were in.
Yes its connected to the theme let me in is also about a vampire boy who's in love with a girl (its inspired by a 2010 movie called "Let me in" its about a vampire boy in loved with this normal person girl and ready to give his love,blood (on that part "i give you my lolololove i give you my blobloblood blood". + he is trying to let in on the girls heart that's when they started banging the walls from the mv that red light thing is still mystery for bighit stans cuz it can also be seen from some of txt's mv's and also bts's theres a lot more theories about the concepts and also the lazer thing is also one of the mysteries cuz it can also be seen from a txt's mv basically everything arround bighit is connected
My theory after watching this mv multiple times: They were playing in the storage room and then the red light that appeared hypnotized them and they were in a trance and after they snapped out of it they tried to break out of the museum(like when they were trying to hit the wall painted with trees and when they froze when they tried to break the glass

I’m so excited for this storyline to develop- cause it’s in early stages everyone is in the dark but so far I’m thinking this. So they were born in the past (Victorian era?) and raised in some place which experimented on them, through this they became vampire type creatures. Then something happened and they decided to leave? Years later they’re in the modern era and they’ve been frozen in time somehow (drinking the blue liquid?) like statues and placed in a museum. The sun hit them of they just managed to break through over time and unfroze to escape the museum (this is what happens in this mv with them breaking out of the glass display, previously they were running through their minds/in their imagination in the forest until they broke out of this and came to reality where the forest was just a museum background so they broke out through the glass). Could be completely wrong but this is what I’m gathering from it!

i think this mv is inspired from the movie "night at the museum" in which the objects/statues/whatever in the museum can roam freely around during night, and when its day, they cant move. in the mv you see when the light comes in, the members freeze as they were o.o however, the storyline is connected to the anime "the promised neverland" and obviously to the bighit's universe (it kinda looks like magic island the forest they were in) there also many other references bighit's mind >:O

its late and for 2 months with enhypen...here is a theory for let me in: trying to make a theory so,some of these theories are inspired by xceleste and some I made on my own so...first we all see them running around in some storage area type of place...looking for something...maybe they are looking for the blue liquid...maybe sumn else idk... all of them are doing something and we then see sunghoon doing some kind of vampire thingy....maybe they are looking for their counter self...that means...we see them in a box at the start right?...maybe they are trying to find the box....but its dark in there...no light and all...they cannot control their aura of vampire...and sunghoon starts acting like one then we see sunoo...taking a blue drink...thus connecting it with lyrics"shining blue might turn red"maybe the blue liquid triggered something when drank and turned the red light on from what i have read...migratory bats are attracted by red light...since vampire are half bats...enhypen are vampires and they have pretty much migrated from other dimension(the forest and them in a display one)they are attracted towards it...then we see jay collapsing...it is also said that red light is hazardous to bats...maybe that is why then we see the blue enhypen doing the same thing as the other dimension enhypen did...they are also looking for something...someone...as you can see they are trying to look at the display...the question is...why risk everything at night?simple...they are looking for the other dimension enhypen...the vampires...and the vampires cant talk to them in daylight....right? then we see space enhypen...cant make out why that is...but what I noticed is...sunghoon and jungwon have green stripes...heeseung,sunoo and jake have orange and jay and ni-ki have yellow ones over the pockets of their shirt...im talking about over the pocket...not on the pocket btw...could mean something or not idk...like green might mean...that they are already vamires,orange means they are in the process of becoming vampire and yellow meaning they have not become but why is jungwon's shirt numbered and why are they in a storage room?maybe kept as display like something...were kept...or else they would be in the museum...and then we see see jungwon floating into air and entering a cube and then we see pink jungwon...maybe space enhypen go to other dimension and so the other dimension enhypen(pink jungwon sweater enhypen)...=space enhypen...and now I will so explain the red gummy bears in air based on the theory space enhypen=pink sweater jungwon ver.enhypen...red gummy bears dont allow green light to pass through it...thus explaining the end of mv where pink sweater jungwon ver.enhypen(im gonna call them forest enhypen now cause the name is too long)can run through the broken glass even when the green laser was there... then we see jungwon looking down a ditch...maybe where he is looking is the space dimension...to call the others... then sunoo in the fragile box thing also shows them being exhibits and all... then we see sunghoon drawing tally marks...as if they have been there for long...thus showing that space enhypen went to this forest dimension and then when they were there sunoo got cut....and so the portal somehow closed and now they are trapped in there..(or...as it is a museum...there are old things kept there,and given-taken showed us victorian times...so maybe they were actually in there because they are ancient but this is a low chance...the first one fits more)and thus the tally marks then we see blue enhypen come to one of the exhibit and see the gummy bears...symbolises that forest enhypen has tried to break free several times...but failed... and then forest enhypen is trying again....they have sensed that its night and are trying again...then we see blue en- coming into a room and looking at something in surprise...it is handprints...handprints of forest enhypen who are trying to break free...the glass door is finally breaking now because we see the screen of forest en- blacking out... but...its morning...then why did blue en- freeze when forest en- are the vampires?maybe its because they broke the glass...found the other dimension enhypen and because en-(blue ver) touched forest en- red gummy bears maybe the attributes shifted to them....forest en- is now free and run away...leaving blue en- there to be on display...and they all look down to the dimension portal again(as I have interpreted)except jungwon..maybe jungwon did not call them up from that portal...maybe it was some other portal and this one is the portal from where forest enhypen got to know about blue en-....first jungwon got to know...told the others and they all went there and saw blue en- and then came the plan to break the glass...then sunghoon is seen whispering"ill give you my blood"...vampire..I think so?...and then the blue en- are in the glass box...meaning forest en- plan worked...as the blue en- looks like them and the attributes are transferred....they are mistaken to be forest en- and kept in the box...but the blue en- of course was not the same....the museum staff felt that and kept the glass in storage room.... then the glass kinda breaks...maybe this mystery is to be solved in next mv lol.... pheww that was long.... thanks for coming to my ted X talk!

Hey I really like your videos, and I want to share my theories about the MV .Maybe people wanted to display them in the museum because there are vampires and they are walking around the back of this museum maybe to steal the blue liquid. So they were kidnapped and that's why they were under the plastic, but they woke up and they tried to escape from the museum. They were afraid of the green lasers, but since they are vampires, they didn't detect them. Maybe at the end they are in the glass box because people have found them at the museum and they are preparing them for the exhibition
Honestly I'm so happy this MV got out. I've been listening to Let me In on repeat since the album release, this song and choreo are the most addictive things I've ever encounter lmao. But tbh I was kinda disappointed by the lyrics when I first searched them up, I thought it was another lover song without any special meaning. But hahaha we been knew... We're all Bighit's clows. This MV made me appreciate the song on a whole other level. Sunghoon said in a recent interview that border day one talks about the complex feelings Enhypen experienced with I-land, debut and everything that happened in their lives in the past months. I now believe this song talks about these completely new things they are exposed to now that they debuted and how this change of status affects them. At the start they're all having fun like normal kids. But the lights turn red (I guess it represents the start of I-land or their debut) and suddenly they're in some kind of space/unreal world or stuck in a museum like if they were objects without feelings, only there to be watched by fans who see them as their boyfriends... (Jake and Sunoo don't seem so happy to be boyfriends at the end, that's mainly what caught my eye and lead me to think that the "fan-service" type lyrics hide a deeper meaning) Let me in really got deep with this MV, and that's without including storyline stuff (Sunghoon the vampire, Sunoo drinking that weird blue thing, the forest, Sunghoon hurting Sunoo with that stick,...) Gosh I love them sm, can't wait to see what they'll do next

I have a theory on how this connects to the anime the promised neverland, but its quite long but i'll still drop it here, hopefully it'll make some sense :>
promised neverland is about an orphanage in which the caretakers ship off the kids to demons as their food. the kids are unaware before they get shipped because they are told that they are being adopted by nice people.
in the mv, you see references to this, them being in this werehouse, wrapped in plastic, which i also think kind of symbolises how the truth is hidden from them.
i think the members were trying to save themselves. and i think there are two different worlds (they even mention it in the songs and lyrics) and maybe, what they do in one world reflect on the other? so maybe they turned back time so they can go save themselves before something bad happens?
a character in the promised neverland called connie (if you watch given taken mv, you will see how sunoo holds onto this bear just like connie does in the promised neverland, which is why we think connie is sunoo :)) realised something was wrong before she was getting shipped off, and so, she left the bear behind at the orphanage.
here in the mv, you see many gummy bears and i think they are actually hints left by the members to find themselves later.
towards the end of the mv, we see them finding themselves, the glass breaks, and the wraps they had earlier, they take them off, so maybe they did save themselves or found out the truth just like how in the promised neverland, they find out the truth later.
and i think the reason why the song is called let me in (20 cube) is because through that cube, they are able to escape or go into the other world - (you see this blackhole kind of cube appearing in the mv and the members going into it)
and the whole galaxy/space thing, maybe thats like another dimension that connects both worlds bc you see the cube appearing before they enter into this place and when they are leaving it too. even the mv has 3 different outfits (2 different outfits for 2 different worlds, and this astronaut kind of one for this dimension that connects the two worlds) :>

If they are continuing the theme from Given Taken then it kind of makes sense for them to be on display in a museum, especially since they were vampires in Given Taken and that's what humans do. I’m so excited for this storyline to develop- cause it’s in early stages everyone is in the dark but so far I’m thinking this. So they were born in the past (Victorian era?) and raised in some place which experimented on them, through this they became vampire type creatures. Then something happened and they decided to leave? Years later they’re in the modern era and they’ve been frozen in time somehow (drinking the blue liquid?) like statues and placed in a museum. The sun hit them of they just managed to break through over time and unfroze to escape the museum (this is what happens in this mv with them breaking out of the glass display, previously they were running through their minds/in their imagination in the forest until they broke out of this and came to reality where the forest was just a museum background so they broke out through the glass). Could be completely wrong but this is what I’m gathering from it!
and veiled figures are a link to the statue of veiled virgin...which was also during the 1830...it all points to a victorian era storyline...just a thing I noticed...and..do you think sunoo and jungwon is linked to trapping them or sumn...like jungwon did not have a scar before drinking the liquid...and now he is scarred...and could it be related to the TXT storyline..if you remember runaway mv...there was a door set to fire..and a magical world..this could be the parallel universe for it ....just a theory....we have to wait for other mvs...what do u think?

i think this mv is inspired from the movie "night at the museum" in which the objects/statues/whatever in the museum can roam freely around during night, and when its day, they cant move. in the mv you see when the light comes in, the members freeze as they were o.o
however, the storyline is connected to the anime "the promised neverland" and obviously to the bighit's universe (it kinda looks like magic island the forest they were in)

its late and for 2 months with enhypen...here is a theory for let me in:
trying to make a theory
so,some of these theories are inspired by xceleste and some I made on my own
so...first we all see them running around in some storage area type of place...looking for something...maybe they are looking for the blue liquid...maybe sumn else idk...
all of them are doing something and we then see sunghoon doing some kind of vampire thingy....maybe they are looking for their counter self...that means...we see them in a box at the start right?...maybe they are trying to find the box....but its dark in there...no light and all...they cannot control their aura of vampire...and sunghoon starts acting like one
then we see sunoo...taking a blue drink...thus connecting it with lyrics"shining blue might turn red"maybe the blue liquid triggered something when drank and turned the red light on
from what i have read...migratory bats are attracted by red light...since vampire are half bats...enhypen are vampires and they have pretty much migrated from other dimension(the forest and them in a display one)they are attracted towards it...then we see jay collapsing...it is also said that red light is hazardous to bats...maybe that is why
then we see the blue enhypen doing the same thing as the other dimension enhypen did...they are also looking for something...someone...as you can see they are trying to look at the display...the question is...why risk everything at night?simple...they are looking for the other dimension enhypen...the vampires...and the vampires cant talk to them in daylight....right?
then we see space enhypen...cant make out why that is...but what I noticed is...sunghoon and jungwon have green stripes...heeseung,sunoo and jake have orange and jay and ni-ki have yellow ones over the pockets of their shirt...im talking about over the pocket...not on the pocket btw...could mean something or not idk...like green might mean...that they are already vamires,orange means they are in the process of becoming vampire and yellow meaning they have not become
but why is jungwon's shirt numbered and why are they in a storage room?maybe kept as display like something...were kept...or else they would be in the museum...and then we see see jungwon floating into air and entering a cube and then we see pink jungwon...maybe space enhypen go to other dimension and so the other dimension enhypen(pink jungwon sweater enhypen)...=space enhypen...and now I will so explain the red gummy bears in air based on the theory space enhypen=pink sweater jungwon ver.enhypen...red gummy bears dont allow green light to pass through it...thus explaining the end of mv where pink sweater jungwon ver.enhypen(im gonna call them forest enhypen now cause the name is too long)can run through the broken glass even when the green laser was there...
then we see jungwon looking down a ditch...maybe where he is looking is the space dimension...to call the others...
then sunoo in the fragile box thing also shows them being exhibits and all...
then we see sunghoon drawing tally marks...as if they have been there for long...thus showing that space enhypen went to this forest dimension and then when they were there sunoo got cut....and so the portal somehow closed and now they are trapped in there..(or...as it is a museum...there are old things kept there,and given-taken showed us victorian times...so maybe they were actually in there because they are ancient but this is a low chance...the first one fits more)and thus the tally marks
then we see blue enhypen come to one of the exhibit and see the gummy bears...symbolises that forest enhypen has tried to break free several times...but failed...
and then forest enhypen is trying again....they have sensed that its night and are trying again...then we see blue en- coming into a room and looking at something in surprise...it is handprints...handprints of forest enhypen who are trying to break free...the glass door is finally breaking now because we see the screen of forest en- blacking out...
but...its morning...then why did blue en- freeze when forest en- are the vampires?maybe its because they broke the glass...found the other dimension enhypen and because en-(blue ver) touched forest en- red gummy bears maybe the attributes shifted to them....forest en- is now free and run away...leaving blue en- there to be on display...and they all look down to the dimension portal again(as I have interpreted)except jungwon..maybe jungwon did not call them up from that portal...maybe it was some other portal and this one is the portal from where forest enhypen got to know about blue en-....first jungwon got to know...told the others and they all went there and saw blue en- and then came the plan to break the glass...then sunghoon is seen whispering"ill give you my blood"...vampire..I think so?...and then the blue en- are in the glass box...meaning forest en- plan worked...as the blue en- looks like them and the attributes are transferred....they are mistaken to be forest en- and kept in the box...but the blue en- of course was not the same....the museum staff felt that and kept the glass in storage room....
then the glass kinda breaks...maybe this mystery is to be solved in next mv lol....

This mv really reminded me of Night at the Museum
Hey I really like your videos, and I want to share my theories about the MV .Maybe people wanted to display them in the museum because there are vampires and they are walking around the back of this museum maybe to steal the blue liquid. So they were kidnapped and that's why they were under the plastic, but they woke up and they tried to escape from the museum. They were afraid of the green lasers, but since they are vampires, they didn't detect them. Maybe at the end they are in the glass box because people have found them at the museum and they are preparing them for the exhibition

Honestly I'm so happy this MV got out.
I've been listening to Let me In on repeat since the album release, this song and choreo are the most addictive things I've ever encounter lmao. But tbh I was kinda disappointed by the lyrics when I first searched them up, I thought it was another lover song without any special meaning. But hahaha we been knew... We're all Bighit's clows. This MV made me appreciate the song on a whole other level. Sunghoon said in a recent interview that border day one talks about the complex feelings Enhypen experienced with I-land, debut and everything that happened in their lives in the past months. I now believe this song talks about these completely new things they are exposed to now that they debuted and how this change of status affects them. At the start they're all having fun like normal kids. But the lights turn red (I guess it represents the start of I-land or their debut) and suddenly they're in some kind of space/unreal world or stuck in a museum like if they were objects without feelings, only there to be watched by fans who see them as their boyfriends... (Jake and Sunoo don't seem so happy to be boyfriends at the end, that's mainly what caught my eye and lead me to think that the "fan-service" type lyrics hide a deeper meaning)
Let me in really got deep with this MV, and that's without including storyline stuff (Sunghoon the vampire, Sunoo drinking that weird blue thing, the forest, Sunghoon hurting Sunoo with that stick,...) Gosh I love them sm, can't wait to see what they'll do next
