    This is a specially formulated ambient sleep sound created with actual electromagnetic emissions produced by Jupiter which have been converted into sound waves. This deep bass relaxation noise morphs around for 1 hour as it lulls you to sleep, helps you focus at work, gets you studying, or helps put the baby to bed.

    There something terrifying yet relaxing when it comes to the sounds of space.
    Of what we do not know what is beyond, we can only really hear it.

    its like the more agressive the sound is to its corrisponding part of the plant's atmosphere that is being record; ie how strong the storm it at that part. wow, it transfixes me.

      You would literally only be able to hear your own breath in your suit because sound waves can't travel in space

    I like this sound for two reasons.
    1: it's creepy
    2: it sounds like a plane

  •  9 років тому +16

    I would like to live in a planet where it's always like the early morning at day with flowers, montains, lacs and this sound at background... Well, I juste have to close my eyes and imagine it.

    The first impression of Jupiter's songs, is that he is a very scary planet... Like he was Looking at you intensely, waiting to eat you. But with time you get used to his ways...

    I would love to see what it looks like on Jupiter. Hopefully we will send a probe there one day that will take pictures.

      +OnceUponAtimeThereWasAyoutubeUserWithAlongName 1992 Just a bunch of gas and a lot of storms.

    • @SolarizedWasTaken
      @SolarizedWasTaken 9 років тому

      +OnceUponAtimeThereWasAyoutubeUserWithAlongName 1992 There isn't a solid surface for any probe to land on, and sending a probe into Jupiters atmosphere wouldn't work past a certian depth. So there really isn't a point to send one there. On the other hand Jupiter has many moons that could be used for more exploration missions in the future.

      I know it's a gas planet but I mean seeing what the storms and clouds look like close up. I know it sounds weird but I think it would be cool to see

    • @SolarizedWasTaken
      @SolarizedWasTaken 9 років тому +1

      It's not weird, that would be cool to see, but the fact is that it wouldn't be possible :( We would lose the probe once it got there. The strong winds and intense gravity would destroy any man made object. Not to mention the immense pressure from all the gasses. Maybe in the future we will be able to some how work around all that. It would be cool.

      Even if we could make a probe strong enough to survive some minutes falling into jupiter it probably wouldn't have any decent images because it would literally be "burried" in gases, basically put a camera in a hole and fill it, if it were to take a picture all you would see is a bunch of dirt, that's what would probably happen on jupiter.

    can you link to any evidence backing this recording up. i want to believe this, but there are some confirmed fakes up here, which sound more like this than the recordings i found on the nasa website, which don't sound anywhere near as gorgeous as this. also, none of these recordings feature on the official, nasa soundcloud account.

    • @crysknife007
      @crysknife007  10 років тому +1

      The link is in the description: www-pw.physics.uiowa.edu/space-audio
      Clearly there was some artistic liberty in presenting the emissions in a way such that they are pleasing, but I can assure you that all the samples used were from EM recordings emitted by Jupiter :)

    • @binarybh
      @binarybh 10 років тому +1

      i meant for this specific recording and the ones like it, which are attributed to different planets. there's nothing on the page you've linked to that sounds anything like this jupiter video.

    • @crysknife007
      @crysknife007  10 років тому +2

      that's what I mean by "artistic liberty" if you slow those samples way down they sound exactly like this video. id argue these videos are actually more authentic since the original recordings are generally sped way up compared to real time. it is all relative anyway, no 'sounds' were emitted by the planets at all just EM waves and how that is represented best acoustically is mostly up to how someone wants to analyze it

    • @binarybh
      @binarybh 10 років тому +1

      fair enough, they are wonderful. did you do the original "artistic liberating" ? :) or, if not, do you know where it originated from, and if the other similar planet/moon tracks are by the same person/project?
