But on the website JALOPNIK an article has been published (October 17, 2023) about an identical problem , but it concerns the Tesla Model Y: "Tesla Owner Charged $21,000 To Fix Rain-Damaged Battery". In that article there is a comments section with currently 73 comments. A question has been asked about insurance against water damage with regard to the battery. I recommend you check out that article and read the comments. Hopefully it helps you a little.
The bad news is that Chinese cars will probably not enter the U.S. market in the next few years. If the U.S cannot win, US government will block them all for national security reasons. By the way, old man Biden just announced that he will impose a 100% tariff on Chinese electric vehicles :P
