Like the small pond and Creek fishing content!!! Started Bass fishing and kayak fishing this early summer. Not many places to fish where I live in Ohio but I manage.just small ponds and one river. Would like to go a distance to fish some new water. Keep up the good work!!!!!!

Kayak fishing is a blast man! There are tons of great options out there now too. I love my Old Town Autopilot 136! I think a lot of those inflatable kayaks brands have now are sweet too. Way easier to haul around for one thing. They are are also cost effective.

Went creek fishing for the first time ever since I’ve moved from Fl to Va, didn’t catch no 10 pounders like in Florida but caught plenty of smallies and trout it was fun wading through the creek
Definitely enjoy watching what bait to cast where and when and how to use it and comedy helps. Miss the trio

I loved the kayaking fishing video! But, I loved you just describing the technique you were using with the blazing worm. I'm trying to improve my soft plastic fishing game, and your tips have been helping.
LOJO if I was gonna try to catch Bluegill on a moving bait I would toss the electric chicken paddle tail Crappie bait or black and chartreuse on a standard 1/16 jig. Nothing too crazy at all. And yes I do like these videos a lot pal.

I got a 6 lb catfish on a crappie rig. Was insane to fight that in. Thank god for nets.

One of my childhood fishing buddies I've known for almost 30 years doesn't care about catching a monster bass like me. He always throws a roostertail, roadrunner, or other small bream/crappie baits. He'll always catch more bass than me but will catch bluegill, bass(most are under 2 pounds), catfish, mayan cichlids, peacocks and even snake heads. Every once in a while he'll throw a worm but he loves those small baits
Can't wait to see the new kayaks! I haven't been out in mine s much as I would like this year but it's always fun when I do

@LOJO I think you were right to switch to a worm but it also feels like downsizing your baits would be a great option. Perhaps rather than the walking baits use a small profile jerk bait. A thought I was also having was the mini filthy frog could work if you get there earlier. I also think that a Panther Martin WeedRunner Spinner or a black Mini Pro Strike King Buzzbait might work really well in that pond.
The main idea is to slow down but I know its difficult when you are so use to power fishing all the time. You really need to consider fishing up north during the hotter months.

I would throw the Bumper spinnerbait. Match the hatch as far as colors go. I use bluegill colors mostly here. The Bumper is great for ponds and areas where you might want to pull a spinnerbait through slowly. I love the fat Colorado blade on there. Being big like that gives it more thump and slows it down. More chance for a fish to feel it, see it, and grab it. I'd also throw jigs in there. Jigs are a must throw in every situation in my opinion.
I like hitting the lake before the sun comes up in the mid summer cause after 10 or 11 it gets unbearably hot

Kayak catch and cook
My 12yo sonxs go to lure is the ol' lipless crank bait! (Probably because of my stories of crazy nights with Rat-l-traps and schools of striped bass.) He has quite a selection (sizes and colors) of lipless cranks and spinnersbaits.
I like it ! Got me about to purchase a kayak and start fishing again ! Oh and used code Lojo 3 times already with Googan ! Thank you sir .
Everyday ! Now just need the time off from work to fish !
