Had to watch it again a few times. Big fan of the series. I never thought the transition from pixel to 3D landed that well, but here I think it looks incredible. The work on the character and monster design, with deep shadows and contrasts, and the use of hard rim light, and the overall proportions is really refined, while honouring the original style of the series. I hope it'll come out on the next gen Nintendo as well :D
I think we could say Trials of Mana remake was a trial for this engine.

I'm so hyped for this. Secret of Mana is one of my top 3 SNES games of all time. That game was like a 3 player Zelda. So good!

This looks amazing! I love the art and the many outfits. The battle system looks very fun. Never expected to see Legend of Mana characters again.

Bamco has always been a strong publisher. They even published Guilty Gear Strive in Europe. Square I guess isn’t as strong, since Switch versions of some games were published by Nintendo themselves in the West.

Love the world design and art, can’t stand how the characters look and sound.
It looks great. This is what you get when developers ignore "western standards" and stay faithful to their vision. I will be buying it.

As soon as I saw the visuals and level of polish my mind immediately went to DQXI. Which is a very big compliment. Can't wait to play it.

While demo progress does not carry over to the full game, demo save data will unlock three different weapons for Val early in the full game.

Story sounds like FFX and Tales of Symphonia (both great games) but the gameplay looks great.

@@chenglong54 You're the only one who made a comment on this entire walk about it. I think it's more of a personal problem, not a problem with the game.
And that's ok, you like really fast pace combat. Never play elden ring lol. You'll really hate life. The attacks are actually sometimes like 2-3 second swings lol.
There are too many jrpgs where the combat is so spammy. It's nice to just have impactful hits that feel good that are meaningful.

Voice acting is horrible - they should have gotten a better caliber of people or a better roster. Maybe even from the U.K. Japanese voice overs are gold by comparison.

Graphics and gameplay look great. But i don't know if i can handle the writing and voice acting. It really sounds bad and bland. Such a shame.
