really great videos you've got. came by for a refresher. I run my mics from a SM57/Mesa and a condenser/Vox tube amp to a mixer then to the audio interface. aby pedal to split my dry/wet amps and pan each mic in garage band and adjust eq to taste. Love the simplicity of your teaching.
I was clueless when I first tried to go from analogue to digital, and not just that, but trying to do this on Mac for the first time after only just working out how to use Windows XP! 🙈 But this guy was the one who saved my bacon! This was so helpful! I already knew how to record with microphone and guitar, but I had NO idea about automatic drums and bass and all that you showed here. I have a Yamaha that I can connect to my laptop as midi, so I will try to record one of my originals this week. Thank you! I recently bought my Macbook last week and have no idea about Garageband at all, and I already have a Focusrite Scarlette 2i2 and Audio Technica (I just like to sing in the bathroom) but never used it. After 10 years using Cubase for PC, I switched to Mac. This tutorial saved my life, and looks like Garageband has all I need for my simple recordings. Thanks, man.
