If you guys ever get tired of urbex just continue your work as travel vloggers. These are always awesome videos to watch.
Yeah they're not annoying douche bags. But for travel shows, number one will be Karl Pilkington.
Amazing place. Not a scrap of litter to be seen anywhere.
Will Isom 脑残
For real thought the police men at 5:09 were statues for a minute 😂
Haha, I did too! You know how some airports have some history displays, thought they were statues displaying uniforms. They probably woulda made me jump if I was standing next to them and they moved like that.
Mannequins!
Me too lmao
I really like how close knit the old people are.. I have seen videos of them playing cards..just hanging out... looks pretty much fun at that age..
Oh guys, come on, you travel all the way to China and eat at McDonald's?? I hope you are trying the local dishes too, that's part of what travelling is all about.
Looking forward to the upcoming explores!
The same thought occurred to me. Chinese food is delicious and you guys eat American junk food?
I've had friends that have gone to China and have said that a lot of food places are unsanitary and gross, meaning that McDonald's is usually one of the cleaner places to eat at in China, ironically. Still agree with your point though.
yea just eat food from street vendors and get your complimentary parasites and food poisoning
@@Blaziken36 I do understand that point as well of course. But unless you are on a super tight budget, I imagine there ought to be better places to eat than American crap food.
@@mossbogger8366 But who is to say that these McDonald's places in China are fine and healthy? Doubtful. Very doubtful.
Anyone else feel extra claustrophobic on that train 🚊?? 😵💀
No
There is something about these China vlogs that feels both daunting and charming at the same time.
Not someplace I ever thought of visiting. That being said , I DO really appreciate seeing it through your videos! Thanx, for all that you continue to share with us!!
It seems so surreal watching this after what has happened this year.. 2020 will forever change how we can see the world.. I appreciate these vids of yours even more now.. Thank you.. Stay safe, much love from New Zealand xx V.
We didn't get to spend time in Beijing when we went to China. We went to Tianmen mountain and Zhangjiaje National Park. The floating mountains were amazing!
I love your guys' vlogs, it gives more of a completeness to the story of the places you guys visit. Hope you have / had a blast! (Not sure if you guys are back or not yet).
Too bad you cannot go see the Forbidden City. It is really beautiful. It was my favorite part of my trip to China about 12 years ago.
I saw the forbidden city circa 2011 and was amazed at the sheer size...
I also got so see the Temple of Heaven and (park area) twice and definitely can recommend.
Rewatching this series with the whole Evergrande collapse going on. I like that you guys did a really good job of filming some of the super crazy things without having to openly say anything. The images tell it all!
Of course my favorite channel 😍❤️
sooo excited for these upcoming videos, I was following along on Instagram and some of the places looked awesome
This is awesome! The music is so good too!
Such a beautiful country. That being said, I would never wander around without a guide especially down back alley ways. Lol
thanks for taking us with you! I love getting a close up look at places I'll never go
Greetings from Dali, China!!! So glad to see your video! I hope Dali/Yunnan/TIger Leaping Gorge/Shangri La is on your list of places to visit .. . . SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL HERE!!! Have a great trip!!!
13:01 Is that baby Count von Count from Sesame Street crying in the background? 🤣
Lol
You were caught in morning rush hour.
When I saw you guys in the Beijing Subway, I was thinking are you going to explore the 4 hidden subway stations to the west of the Line 1. You should check it out.
Ahh, it's so weird to see someone visit places that I've been for so many times
So weird to see it almost a decade after I've been and experienced.
When you hit the lake my first thought was how quiet it suddenly got. I was amazed at how much voice noise there was until that point. I got crowd claustrophobia just from watching (and listening).
I went swimming in the grand canal while I was there.
Saw a bunch of locals doing it, and joined in.
Lol
That was a cool stroll . When you have awareness of Self . Confucius say . You are Never lost .
another amazing vlog! cant wait for more videosssss
I felt homesick for you guys :)
Hope you have at least tried some Chinese food it's sooo good compared to McDonalds or KFC...So many beautiful places to visit in China...Yunnan province,Xi'an city,Old town of Lijiang,Shanghai,Beiijing and so many more but you need to stay at least a month or more to visit all those wonderful places. And the Chinese ladies are sooo beautiful...Love your videos guys keep on the good work!
We've only seen two meals, but I hope you guys tried more local food!
Went to beijing when I visited China! It was very cool, I thought!
Awesome that you guys made it to China. At least one thing is familiar there, McDonald's! Nice little tour.
5:04 I thought those guys were wax statues or something at first because they were deathly still and roped off. And then they moved.
That is Chinese emperor folks! The tall round columns you see are actually one big tree trunk, they are only grown in one particular province then floated up a river to get there, neat!
Only hardcore tourists eat food from home in foreign countries ;)
2:30 i've been on trains that crazy in NYC & S. America :-0 10:30 hahaha we northerners say FL is hot & humid & we don't like it, but we can sort of handle hot & dry XD 10:53 reminds me of the streets of Europe that are way off the beaten path
McDonald's is the savior of travelers. They are everywhere and all offer cheap food, shelter, and toilets.
Ayra Simmons especially the toilets! Lol
They should try out convenient low cost motels attached to there locations
"food"
Tastes like a combination of food, shelter and toilets, too!
Yep. If I'm on a road trip McDonald's is very useful for restroom breaks. I'll also get coffee and once in a while one of their pies. But if I'm on vacation I have a no "McWendyKing" rule. If I can eat at a place when I'm at home I'm not going to eat there when I'm on vacation.
1:51 I like how they push their way in without letting people out first.
@@Thomas-lk5cu The civic qualities of the East Germans is also worse than that of the West Germans.
Thats china for you, if you go to Taiwan(which is actual chinese culture thats not repressed) its a whole different story.
@@gunsroses1293 That might be true, I've not been to Germany recently, so I don't know.
@@Vipppala True. Taiwan is completely different, and very friendly people.
nah, a reason why they didn't wait probably is cause if they wait they can't get on the metro since there are too many people's
Bryan those are dragons that spit water, it's good luck and exudes power as a status symbol!
Living and working here in China has given me the chance to explore certain places as well. Check out Xi'an on your next visit.
You guys is just taking subway in peak time of morning ,that is why crowed.
Welcome to China. I hope you can try more kinds of delicious food. I believe there will be something you like
Isn't McDonald's in China technically Chinese food?
So true. In China it is probably.
This is the funny thing.
In Sweden they advertise "we are only using swedish meat".
This after the madcow indicent on Irish meat. Then they advertise in UK tv "we are using only english and irish quality meat" 😂
Traditional American menu available also McD China cuisine!
Love Ran's red dress!
aww hey guys, wow look at you in China!!
I really appreciate the 4K!
Awesome
You will also see dragons on the corner roof tips, they represent according to status the occupants, the higher class rank the more dragons!
Beautiful architecture 🤤
im not used to seeing so many people in their videos
Use caution over there. Things that are not a big deal stateside can be a VERY big deal elsewhere.
Fun fact when you stay in a Chinese hotel they have to report that there are foreigners staying there to the local government.
Yep. I remember that when I visited about 20 years ago. Had to fill out cards with my name etc
Because China has too many people, it is necessary to effectively manage foreigners. This is responsible for you. Once you encounter any problems, you can quickly solve them.
@@SKY-lu6xl No, it's because it's a police state and they want to keep an eye on you.
@@JeffDeWitt China's 1.4 billion people, if you want to monitor everyone, is the police enough? The United States is the police state, and the Chinese police will not shoot and kill the people. Snowden and Assange have come to tell us that the United States is the country that madly monitors the people.
You don't need police when you have so many cameras and AI face recognition.
In any country with a dictatorship regime, you should just follow the rules and try to not get political. Of course, it's hard to follow all the rules when you do urbex.
I think you haved awesome adventure, and filmed also awesome videos
SEGO??? More like SEGA™ am I right!
@@Cypher_FED no,what is that SEGA
@@sego6277 OH sorry it's a joke
@@Cypher_FED it's ok don't worry
Im guessing no urbex here or the next video will be from a reeducation camp saying "respect the glorious nation, we definitely are not brainwashed, we love it here"
I would love to visit China one day
Nice to see you guys
I think i've been to that mcdonalds!!!
@ 0:21 he's like how is it hahah it's like freaking 3 am after a long flight dude sTFU hahah
So, what's wrong with the cameras? They are used to protect people, why you fear them?
She said that McDonald's chicken is the best. Me: I'm terrified.
Great vlog .. proper lonely planet 😆
I can't believe no special shot for Taro Pie!!! Well, at least McDonald's is better than Stinky Tofu 😂
@K05 T4R Thanks! It's Chinese lanterns. It was invented about 2000 years ago to celebrate the last day of Chinese traditional spring festival, which is translated as "Lantern Festival" later on (probably bc too many lanterns around). Nowadays they are out in almost all the occasions we need to celebrate something lol
Regarding Beijing, I recommend you to Shougang Industrial Heritage Park and 798 Art District, which are suitable for urbex.
Nightlife, it is recommended to go to Sanlitun.
Nice video, thanks! Now go eat some rice 🍚
I like the guy doing thumbs up!
You will love it
So I’ve got to wonder with China having you tell them all your travel plans, how do you explain what you were going to do?
C Allen You only need to say which cities or towns you’ll be visiting, and which dates.
@@linusfotograf with as tight of restrictions as there are I wondered if they had to declare what/why they were going to each place. I would think urbexing by foreigners would be highly frowned upon.
C Allen When I went to China I only had to put in the dates and which cities during those dates. I did make a change to my plans but how would they know I did.
Awesome video! I would walk on the bicycle lane all the time and would give a damn about it. Why? Because that's what all the chinese tourists do here in Berlin - germany! :P
Surveillance police state. Pretty scary how watched you are. Since you got there you've probably only been off camera for the briefest of moments, and in your hotel room.
@Bill Williams us don't spy?? I wouldn't deny that china spys but the us do the same thing
That's why there is less to none thieves or home invasions in China and people feel safe walking alone even at 3 in the morning, I wouldn't do that anywhere in the US. Some guy broke into my car in Toronto, Canada last year the cops were like "go file a report and there is really nothing we can do about it" lol
Dry hot is way better than humid hot.
I don't know about. ~Sonoran Desert (122- 135F/50- 57. 2C) in open ground. Home of the 5 minute sunburn
120 degree heat with little to no humidity is way better than 90+ heat with it. Nothing quite like being sticky AND hot.
@@TexasWench You say that, but what else is 120 degree heat with no humidity? An oven.
@@TexasWench an Arizona Native, I lived in Virginia for 10 years, and I can attest that 90 degree heat with 90% humidity is better than 120 with 5% humidity. At least when it's humid, you sweat, thereby cooling you, whereas oven hot, the sweat evaporates so fast, you can't cool. They're both pretty bad but, oven hot is worse than sauna hot.
@@AvatarBoB I'm a CA and AZ desert native and I couldn't possibly disagree more. At least not here in Texas. There's barely any cooling down inside either because even when it cools you're still sticky and it can feel miserable at 75 degrees. At least in the desert "hot" doesn't become hot until the extremes.
Just don't know why such a beautiful and clean modern city can trigger someone
Not much homework is done before they arrive.
You think it's hot there come to Phoenix during the summer.
Great content
You've got guts wondering around in China like that.
The Chosen One gonna be fine in beijing with every camera pointed on them
Why? You just need street smarts
I wish I knew what camera these guys use I’m looking for a good one for a trip
All of our cameras are listed at theproperpeople.com/gear
China seems to be a cool place to visit. What the world would look like if we had lost the war, a real life dictatorship. Too bad I’m not allowed there.
BELL SQUAD
Anyone know what that tall circular building is at 3:50?
北京火车站。BEIJING TRAIN STATION
@@myuulee6158 Thank you!
got a trip to China and end up eating MAC all the time just not fun bro lol
Well, they clearly don't want to get dysentery from a food stall.
@@thebluewhale8891 than they should went to a restaurant
It's really strange feeling of no any birds 🐦 in Peking, something like dead city in terms of nature. And there was many birds in the past as we know by Mao order to destroy the sparrows.
there are very much crow in beijing
These boys can't hack real Chinese food. :)
I couldn't either. Lol. Most things I like but there was a noodle dish in one of the small villages i went to that was bland as hell with no salt. And I was afraid to ask for any because I didn't want to offend the smiling villagers watching the tall American eat their food. Lol
Bill Williams: lol. Maybe. I just remember it was pasta, cilantro, maybe some anise or something that tasted like it. That's all I remember
Bill Williams: lol!!!!
Like FL but worse? So it's like AZ, basically. :)
Believe me, it's the humidity that kills me in the Sunshine State. Ugh.
Humidity is the worst. Better an oven than a sauna.
So was it a screen!?!?
Didn’t know McDonald’s had chicken wing lol
They have fried chicken in Malaysia and Singapore
Way better than KFC
Oooowweeee!!! All those underarms lifted 🤢
Men you shouod go to Shandong qingdao
Even in the most fecked of countries.... The octavia is the taxi of choice for a reason 😂
I saw the most sterotypical thing ever: Americans travelling to a foreign country to eat at McDonalds. m(
I really want a McDonalds Taro Pie
Good video
Forbidden city forbidden for coronavirus
Being an American in a foreign McDonalds is the same as being a Brit in an Irish Pub in Ibiza. I get it, but it isn't a cool look.
valiant971 I heard English serious racist on Irish why would they eat Irish food?
All these people complaining about you eating Mc Donalds, lol! You do you boys, just because you're in a foreign country, doesn't mean you gotta try everything, and eat only new things. No one wants to spend most of their time traveling shitting their brains out b/c of eating stuff you're not used to.
beautifull
Glad you guys are posting. Guess you haven't been locked up. Since you guys like taking risks, maybe head to North Korea next?
Sykokiller 😂
Maybe you should rent bicycles or mopeds...
The number one benefit of being an American is knowing that capitalism has brought reliable places to go to. Even just having a place you know you can stop in for the bathroom is great.
And countless homeless people
Hey
Americans travel to the other side of the world, to a place with wondrous and varied food choices, and make a video where they go to fucking MacDonalds. Twice. SHOCKER.
I am chinese,I am not ok with the media censorship, but totally ok with the camera surveilance thing.Because china is becoming more and more safe,i can feel it
