Thank you for watching today's Dragonlance Setting video. Are there Dwarven events you would like to see a video go into more detail of? What other races would you like to see featured? Leave a comment below.
Covering the gully dwarves would be nice. They make for great comic relief in any DragonLance game. Unlike other Dwarven subraces, they weren't a result of the Greystone, or thousands of years of isolation, but the result of genetic incompatibility when dwarves breed with gnomes. Gully dwarves actually have their origins in the Forgotten Realms, first appearing in one of the original AD&D monster manuals. Apparently, this must be a constant throughout the multiverse!
Wonderful video - thank you for it Adam. I fondly remember this box set, as it was my first AD&D 2nd edition accessory; actually, my first RPG accessory). It's given me so much material, ideas and we used in a lot. So much so that we played dwarven-themed campaigns for years & even had to glue together pieces of the boxed set, as it fell apart from use. Now it deservingly rests on the shelf. Ah, the good old days
@@DLSaga Epic! Can’t wait to hear your synopsis. There are many things about Ogres that I don’t understand. For example, the Ogres in Talanthas. (You know, the North East Continent?) Are they still smart and attractive; like the irda, or are they corrupted the the ogres in Ansalon?

I'd like to see addressed the various retcons about the dwarves' and scions' origin and history

It's my pleasure. I love this setting. I never had the boxed set back in the day but my friend and I loved playing dwarves.
Dwarven Kingdoms of Krynn was a great boxed set. I love how Krynn handled dwarves (save the gully).
When Bupu was addressing Par-Salien in Time of the Twins, I immediately felt sorry for the Aghar.
This is a wonderful video.
I’m still waiting on that ogre video.
Also, you have a new subscriber.
I just exported it, so look for it next Tuesday.
