One last thing: I don't think, at least as far as I know, that racism has influenced Pele's career in any way. Don't confuse the rest of the world with the United States. Racism exists everywhere even today, but I think the US is among the most extreme. For example, here in Europe racism manifests itself in a different way (fortunately also very less): it has more to do with the culture of the country you come from and its wealth. If you are black and African (or North African, or from certain Arab countries, etc.) it is possible that someone who is a little racist may have rude attitudes towards you. If, on the other hand, you are black but American, Dutch, English, etc. no one will ever do something like that (unless you just meet a neo-nazi or crap like that). In Brazil I don't know what the situation was like at the time of Pele, but it is still a country with a black majority and I believe that the situation of racism was present but still under control and not as extreme as in the northern part of the continent where there was even segregation. With this I wanted to tell you that, even if we are talking about the 60s, I believe that in front of a player like Pele, at least 95% of the planet has not even noticed what color he was. There is a film that tells his life, but it is very fictional compared to reality.

@@SirBenjaminAzure So he's won the same things as Messi, only Messi has won on a more consistent basis & has just lifted Trophy number 44, making him the Most decorated player in football history. Ronaldinho had some amazing skills & is still one of the Goats though.
