I love this game. It has so many different viable builds. The only thing I hate is how we're restricted because starchrom is finite. If I decide to try out this build it means taking resources away from leveling up the blueprints of my other builds.
Why wouldn't you use violent instead of precision? 15% damage bump if you get lucky on them all per mod is amazing. If you're lucky, you can have a 90% increase to your Crit Damage. Also, in case people don't know, your crit rate is per bullet. So, with each shotgun blast from DB, you get six chances of crit, as each pellet counts as its own individual bullet, which if you have a minimum of 35% crit rate, you're pretty much guaranteed a crit hit.
Got the same equips but I'm using imperfect Violent mods for more sustainable damage even if I don't hit weakspot. Doing 100-130k dps on a dummy but bosses in Monoliths will feel the damage more. Always MVP in monolith with 50-70% damage dealt as long as you time it right when to apply the buffs.
@@leahime7141 yes but the substats are focus on Greater Ones and Mag capacity because of my old build that aims for 6 ammo. So I think Violent with GO+Weapon DMG is much preferable if there's Fortress Warfare buff.
So the cooldown on Sandstorm's FW is 20 seconds, apparently you get 14 seconds of shooting with your setup, would you then just idle for 6 seconds or just do axe heavy swing to reset and then switch between sandstorm and axe from there or how's a full rotation go? How's just random trash clearing with this in silos etc And most importantly does this still work in Way of the Winter

The wolf usually takes aggro from most enemies when summoned(except it doesnt sometimes because once human things) ,and if you are in a party the aggro is usually juggled around the party so not moving all the time isnt that big of a problem tbh especially when bosses gives telegraphed dps windows. For pvp it might be a problem but who even plays pvp other than people who likes to sweat in games?
yeah the buff it says "Fortress Warfare" duration last for 5 seconds. So for the weapon "Long Axe" you should use one of this Mods: - Final territory = When Fortress Warfare ends, Weapon DMG & Movement speed +10% for 10 seconds. - Portable Territory = After leaving Fortress Warfare, the status will remain for another 2 seconds. I personally use the "Final territory" mod.
correct, example A use axe + sandstorm, then A B C D shoot, after 8 secs B axe + sandstorm, while others keep shooting, after 1 cycle A can use axe + sandstorm again, infinite shooting loop, just theres no boss strong enough currently to try this :(

Been using the boots with the Compound crossbow for a while. Super versatile boots with probably tons of build-craft potential out there! Didn't know fortress warfares stack though, is there a reason you need to proc both the Long axe and Sandstorm at the same time?

The hard tactical boots are refilling 2 bullets per second PER FORTRESS WARFARE that you're standing on, while the description implies that multiple FWs shouldn't stack. But the descriptions are poorly written anyways so who knows.
How do you get those 9k hits? I have a near identical setup to yours, and I'm hitting for nowhere near that. Could you show your calibration? Perhaps your character sheet holstered and unholstered? This is annoying as I chunked down 8k in starchrom to get those boots and now I feel like I got suckered in.
Mixing crit with Weakspot seems odd choice, should just go full into either one. I have Weakspot memento/DB I'm running atm so absolutely am gunna try this but without lonrwolf

Seriously, the lag already makes weapon switching tricky. I've tried getting the double fortress warfare and most of the time it doesn't work. Some others have pointed out that this guy has a team of others buffing him as well and that's why his duration is so long and that makes more sense.
I know you show which ammo can be used, but were you using AP ammo on the dummy? Is Doombringer using Rapid shot calibration? IMO the double FW stacking seems unintentional and likely to be patched as people go abuse it.

for some reason I'm not able to consistently trigger the fortress warfare effect from both the axe and the shotgun, one or the other just doesn't trigger a lot of the time, and that's out of combat just dps testing. is there a way to more consistently trigger both?
I think it's lag and the game being unresponsive at times. I have the same issue too sometimes. Sometimes I'll get the buffs from both weapons and sometimes only one.
@@Gnomesmusher i couldn't really get it to consistently work, and didn't really like the need to set up for a dps burst. rn I'm running Doom with Tactical Combat Shoes, essentially a soft version of the follow up to this build, and it works pretty well, although I'm only getting at most 8, maybe 10 if I can push it, shots off before a reload.

Turn off auto reloading when gun is empty. If the game is lagging the gun will start to reload before the extra bullet registered.

Targeted Precision mod only applies to "marked targets." How are marking them? I dont see a marking weapon in your dps rotation.
