i have almost identical build and my surge procs are at max 2k hitting on dummy head... dunno what i am doing wrong :S. Tryed treand hard, with status buff dmg from the drink, deviant out and bullseye on it and max were 2.5-2.6 k dmg .. Also , what its PSG, EMT etc ?XD
@@Krovio you probably did not stack armor buffs and you do not have at least all blue for elemental damage bonus for ur mod attributes. lastly, it's probably due to the recent hidden nerf(not shown anywhere but if you equipt it you will realize you did less damage than before) of Mayfly Googles, which changed it from reducing power surge damage bonus to reducing the entire damage of power surge. (went from additive to PSG DMG to just multiplying 0.7 to the entire equation) this means that if Mawn tries that exact setup again he should be proccing 3.5k per power surge and not 4.2k anymore
The savior set is just good in any given PvP situation, it's meant to make you as a hardest target to kill than any armour set currently available in OH. Not sure if anybody would pick the Savior set if it gets nerfed
Love your guide. Playing the SMG variant you previously posted and it is amazing. At the stage oif trying to get talent and status dmg rolls on all my mods (which is a nightmare) but overall the build slaps so hard! Love this variant which I may try on the new server when we get there.
Great build for alts i prefer Gaz Mask instead of googles for easy crit rate. Overall 2 purple pieces isnt good if you arent starting the game. 1 star Yellow armor = 3 stars purple armor Stats that change are HP and PSI which means on build using PSI yellow armor are even more valuable than on a build like Shrapnel for example. Ofc 1 key purple item is acceptable (with maybe the exception of the torso) but at the end PSI damage adds up. While there s a difference of +2 PSI between a 3 star purple and 2 star yellow if you have 6 yellow items it makes +12 PSI or +24 PSI with 6 3 stars yellow item. In the long run a 5 Stars purple items = 3 Star Yellow item (ofc we arent at 6 Star yet), but there will be a total difference of +36 PSI on a full yellow build vs a full purple build. (There s ofc also HP to take in consideration, especially with all the % HP buff there is in the game) Definitely not a problem for now but investing too may Stars in Purple items might be an error in the long run, 3 stars is kind of okay going up to 5 stars might be a waste (except for a key item that).
Disagree on investing in purple being an error, the double points we're getting by using same item to max them quickly is going to be the difference of less than 1 season of BPs and help you for the seasons leading up to that point. The double is massive THEN add in the increased quantity required for legendary gear at all and maxing legendaries over time won't change much at all.
@@thatrandomguyo1 yeah 3 stars to 4 star yellow is 6k XP so it s a lot 3 stars is easy and quick but i think that if you can avoid it it s much better It also depends on how many builds you wanna play and how long you plan to play. At the end of the day for most people it wont matter that much cause they ll probably stop playing at the end of the year anyway, but if there s a way to maximise 1 gear quickly it s definitely better to focus on yellow if possible ofc. With equivalent gear level yellow wins the min max in term of stats especially on builds using PSI so every elemental build. It also impact the explosives damage you deal so for pvp it s also worth and ofc your survivability with more HP. After that it mostly depends on the roll you will have on the wish machine so you can get very lucky and upgrade your gear you are using or really unlucky. Not every season will have the gear people are using like it is right now, next season it should be 2 of those 4 Bounce / Fortress / Frost Vortex / Surge So to increase gear it will start to be rolls.
@@cosmix303 depend of the weapon shotgun need crit obviously rate and dmg. SOCR needs crit rate Smg doesnt need crit. For SOCR it s a bit weird cause it s a mix of crit rate and elemntal dmg. More crit = more surge procs and ofc more basic damage. That s why for a reroll having from 1 item 35% crit rate is a BIG upgrade especially cause you dont have lots of mods and definitely not yellow optimised ones. With optimised mods it s a bit different cause you can optimise your stats more easily having calibration and yellow mods.
Overall, the recent videos are great - but I do think they could benefit from something. At the end of the video, would love to see a PVP Gear/Mod and PVE Gear Mod recommendation. Since they would be different and would be interesting to see how you change legendary armor sets for each function.
I have all of these Mods with the right substats, Right Calibs and Gear sets but it's nowhere near the damage they put out. I don't know if it got nerfed or you guys are just gaslighting me.
The same thing happens to me. I have a very similar build, practically identical and my damage per magazine does not exceed 100-120k in the best of cases.

There are other options , that will give u similar bonuses as a blue mod (depending on the sub stats) plus the main perk on top, which can make life just a wee bit more comfy (like rejuvinating - talents). Also basic weapon dmg is allways better then weakspot, since it will allways be benefitial while weakspot dmg is useless against enemies, who dont have weakspots or weakspots, that are hard to hit reliably. So a deadshot-talents mod for the pants for example is situational weaker, but offers more easy of life for general game play. I know the try-hards will disagree, but this is a casuals opinion ;)
@@livefootball2000 you still have to hit your shot w/c deals weapon damage so weapon damage still matters, the main damage source may be powersurge but that doesnt mean your bullet that you need to hit in order to proc powersurge doesnt matter I do agree that blue mods gives way more damage than some gold mods (that people who only see gold might think otherwise).

And there are mods that can provide that as the mentioned rejuvinating. Also the gun doesnt do ONLY power surge dmg-it DOES have a base weapon dmg.
Outsider is a great alternative for those who don’t have the power surge smg! This would be good for early to mid game until you get the outer space which does significantly more dmg. Currently at the moment not built all the way in phase 4 I am doing 1m damage in less then 4 mags using only the outer space. Devs thought they nerfed powersurge but they actually buffed it😤😤 Also great video. But for thunderclap you want to be using thunderclap with a powersurge affix not talents. This will significantly boost the power surge damage by a lot. I did 3.2m damage at prime war yesterday which was double the best persons highest that was using a fully built shrap set

@@Artis312 everyone is building power surge the wrong way. You can’t build it like it used to be after the nerf which is what I see a lot of people doing. I am currently testing another build at the moment that could beat my current surge dmg 1.1m in 4 mags instead of 1m every 4 mags. This includes zero buffs and no deviants as well. Will make a vid later today for it. There’s a reason I am the top scorer and dps in prime wars fr🙂😤
I feel like there was a recent hidden patch for Mayfly Googles, it went from reducing Power Surge DMG bonus to probably reducing Power Surge Final DMG Bonus or a straight-up just multiplying 0.7 on the equation Could you possibly check if this is true and see if there was any reduction on the build?
Do you think 21% calibration blueprint would be good for my socr right now? I have one element 7.9 and one crit 9%. That calibration has element and 21% crit rate.
Why do we need 10-20% crit rate (4-9 bullets per crit) if we're pushing 22 bullets every 2 secs (with a 3 sec window for the buff) are we accounting for reload time and that's what I'm missing. It seems like we could get away with a much lower crit rate. 22 bullets * 0.5 crit rate (just the crit from lone wolf 2) = 11 bullets per crit. That's 2 triggers within the first 2 secs of the buff. Are we just using the extra crit to cover things like reloading or movement in the fight where we can't be applying damage?
I dont understand, I have the same gear, same calibration, and same mods. maybe with a little bit less elem/status dmg, and my procs did 1400 dmg instead of 4k in your video. did they nerf it or I miss something ?
Are power surge ending mods way better then talend? I farm the hole Day manibus for these crates and I cant get it. Now I have no Controllers left to open the chests

idrk what to do i already made the little jaws build u had(which is great i love it) but idk if i should make a whole other build like fast gunner or if i should make a power surge build considering i alr have the armor and alot in the mods department
Why are people so wrong when it comes to resonance? You can have the bonus 2 times while with talents u can only have 1x elemental damage. I run a double resonance mod setup on my acs12 corrosion. Dead shot with resonance elemental/weakspothits give critdmg and this 2 times each, just my deadshot alone ramped up gives me 73% crit damage. The downside to resonance beside having to ramp it up (which btw is better for bosses if u have a good resonance) is that the rng you need to get a double roll on your necessary stats with good rarity on this attributes is insanely high. So you have to be very lucky and it is insanely tedious to farm resonance. Other than that, it's insanely strong. I can show you a screenshot of my deadshot if you dont believe me, mawn.

@@RealFabz this is a guide on an outsider build where we focus on power surge damage (obviously). Currently the only 2 resonance main substats that can buff your ele damage are stacking 1% upon dwaling weakspot and crit damage iirc. We can throw crit damage out the window already as we’re not gonna deal crit dmg often. Then considering that after stacking it to its max value, you are at 8%, which is exactly the same amount from talent, yet talent does not need to be stacked to get the 8% buff. Which at this point there is no reason to go for a resonance mod

1ST(4 shelt + 1 bast): 10% Weapon dmg from 1pc bastille 38% total elemental dmg from 4pc shelterer, but need to stack 15% from 8 bullets VS 2nd(3 shelt + 2 savior): 28% elemental dmg from 3pc shelterer, but needs to stack 10% from 5 bullets 10% weapon dmg from 2pc savior 10% elemental dmg from 2pc savior Comparison: 1st : instant 10% weap and 23% ele, need to shoot 8 bullets to stack 15% 2nd: instant 10% weapon and 28% ele, need to 5 bullets to stack 10% Conclusion 1st has a worse headstart, finishes at 48%. 2nd has better headstart dmg buffs, also finishes at 48% and faster than 1st. HOWEVER, don t fall below 70% hp.
You can run 4pc shelterer with 1pc bastille, depending on your star rating. But it assuming you are always over 70% hp, 3pc shelter + 2pc savior > 4pc shelterer + 1pc bastille
@@4legion42 yes, you can opt for 4 shelt + 1pc bastille. It will however be weaker than 3pc shelt +2pc savior ( if when ur on 3 shelt + 2 savior ur always above 70% hp)
I think thunderclap is actually bugged coz it says after 20 stacks of PS a lightning strike(not original name) occurs WITH NO INDICATED COOLDOWN so by paper it should procs every 21st PS procs but I noticed that my thunder clap only procs about 2 times(usually) and 3 times(when I am lucky) per mag given I have 35 shots per mag using outerspace. I start noticing that the stacks get stuck at 20 for quite some time then procs like 10-15 shot late when it should have proc-ed on time edit: 5-10 shots late, I actually over exaggerated

Hey man. Just wanted to ask, for the weapon and mask mods that can roll with static shock damage. I do know these are a pain to get due to them being from PW. But my question is, is it worth keeping a static shock blue roll with non beneficial sub stats, or is it better to get Talents + Status dmg rolls even if they are blue? (Got a thunderclap with 3.4% power surge dmg but has power surge crit and 2 other meh mods)
@@mawn7976 Sure. Thunderclap mod 1 (4/5 upgrade): Power surge dmg 3.6%, Dmg against eleite 4.5%, Max HP 3.6% and Power surge Crit dmg 16%. Alternative mod (4/5 upgrades): Talents 3.2%, Dmg against Great one 1.2%, Reload speed bonus 9.6% and Status dmg 3.6%.

There are a few popular possible reasons for this: try using purple tungsten ap ammo, make sure covered advance is active when doing the dps test, calibrate the gun to +10, calibrate all your gear pieces to +6 and you have less bonus dmg vs normal enemies
my build for outsider was the same as you but somehow when i tested it on dummy with all the buff eaten and used i just cant seem to hit 100k dps on the dummy .. my mods are even greater than yours .. im so confused whether the dummy bug out or not :(

@@ChristianKrillz if you want to get power surge suffix mods, they can be gotten from opening blue crates from PW in hard server, and they are also dropped from the operation chiron purple box
I feel like at this piont it might be my ping thats at 180 thats making my dps stay at 35 to40k got all buffs everything in statusdm and elemental dmg mods in like 4 gear sets as food buffs but my damage is not going any higher
i dunno man how the hell these builds work... i was power surger all s1. i see no buffs dealing 50k and yet me with deviation, bullseye buff deals 34k at max...but if i look on the mods.. i have the same , sometimes even better substats. and i just dont believe that one armor 5* is 50k dps difference. i would believe it if it was full build 5* . i even tried to play with expensive ammo, yet i cant get nowhere near NO BUFF dmg... idk how the game works it seems :D
They can be gotten from prime war blue boxes in hard seasons or every box in normal season prime wars, and can also be gotten from the purple box dropped from operation chiron event

Finally I found a build where I can use my Shelterer that i bought by mistake :D
shelterer is actually good, and dw bulleye+savior is broken , is the only build that doesn't decrease the damage for pvp , hope it gets nerfed soon.

the cradle little bit diferent every slot have 5 choice. maybe those make diferent. i build same as him and never reace 100k in 1 megazine 😂

Your opinion is objectively wrong. Power surge doesnt scale off weapon damage ,and blue mod gives MUCH more dps than you're thinking it does.

Outsider is a great alternative for those who don’t have the power surge smg! This would be good for early to mid game until you get the outer space which does significantly more dmg. Currently at the moment not built all the way in phase 4 I am doing 1m damage in less then 4 mags using only the outer space. Devs thought they nerfed powersurge but they actually buffed it😤😤
Also great video. But for thunderclap you want to be using thunderclap with a powersurge affix not talents. This will significantly boost the power surge damage by a lot.
I did 3.2m damage at prime war yesterday which was double the best persons highest that was using a fully built shrap set

what is your build? i'm running the smg and my dps is so low only getting like 500k for pro prime wars. I'm trying so hard to like this build but my dmg is so weak.
@@Artis312 everyone is building power surge the wrong way. You can’t build it like it used to be after the nerf which is what I see a lot of people doing. I am currently testing another build at the moment that could beat my current surge dmg 1.1m in 4 mags instead of 1m every 4 mags. This includes zero buffs and no deviants as well. Will make a vid later today for it. There’s a reason I am the top scorer and dps in prime wars fr🙂😤
I do around 65-95k dps rn without buffs our builds are pretty similar I enjoy the surge a lot

I feel like there was a recent hidden patch for Mayfly Googles, it went from reducing Power Surge DMG bonus to probably reducing Power Surge Final DMG Bonus or a straight-up just multiplying 0.7 on the equation

Do you think 21% calibration blueprint would be good for my socr right now? I have one element 7.9 and one crit 9%. That calibration has element and 21% crit rate.
Why do we need 10-20% crit rate (4-9 bullets per crit) if we're pushing 22 bullets every 2 secs (with a 3 sec window for the buff) are we accounting for reload time and that's what I'm missing. It seems like we could get away with a much lower crit rate. 22 bullets * 0.5 crit rate (just the crit from lone wolf 2) = 11 bullets per crit. That's 2 triggers within the first 2 secs of the buff. Are we just using the extra crit to cover things like reloading or movement in the fight where we can't be applying damage?
I dont understand, I have the same gear, same calibration, and same mods. maybe with a little bit less elem/status dmg, and my procs did 1400 dmg instead of 4k in your video. did they nerf it or I miss something ?
You probably use worse bullets, have less stars on your gear, and aren’t using the buffs I listed in the corresponding damage showcase
Are power surge ending mods way better then talend? I farm the hole Day manibus for these crates and I cant get it. Now I have no Controllers left to open the chests

Are you able to make and showcase a PVE Mr.Squid that is viable with the currently avialable buffed cradle perks for it?

Why are people so wrong when it comes to resonance? You can have the bonus 2 times while with talents u can only have 1x elemental damage.
I run a double resonance mod setup on my acs12 corrosion. Dead shot with resonance elemental/weakspothits give critdmg and this 2 times each, just my deadshot alone ramped up gives me 73% crit damage.
The downside to resonance beside having to ramp it up (which btw is better for bosses if u have a good resonance) is that the rng you need to get a double roll on your necessary stats with good rarity on this attributes is insanely high.
So you have to be very lucky and it is insanely tedious to farm resonance. Other than that, it's insanely strong.

@@mawn7976 it was an example. And like I said, u can have the bonus for a specific thing 2 times with resonance. U can get much more % for a single thing on resonance than with other mods just because you can have the same bonus 2 times
@@RealFabz this is a guide on an outsider build where we focus on power surge damage (obviously). Currently the only 2 resonance main substats that can buff your ele damage are stacking 1% upon dwaling weakspot and crit damage iirc. We can throw crit damage out the window already as we’re not gonna deal crit dmg often. Then considering that after stacking it to its max value, you are at 8%, which is exactly the same amount from talent, yet talent does not need to be stacked to get the 8% buff. Which at this point there is no reason to go for a resonance mod

1ST(4 shelt + 1 bast):
10% Weapon dmg from 1pc bastille
38% total elemental dmg from 4pc shelterer, but need to stack 15% from 8 bullets
VS
2nd(3 shelt + 2 savior):
28% elemental dmg from 3pc shelterer, but needs to stack 10% from 5 bullets
10% weapon dmg from 2pc savior
10% elemental dmg from 2pc savior
Comparison:
1st : instant 10% weap and 23% ele, need to shoot 8 bullets to stack 15%
2nd: instant 10% weapon and 28% ele, need to 5 bullets to stack 10%
Conclusion 1st has a worse headstart, finishes at 48%. 2nd has better headstart dmg buffs, also finishes at 48% and faster than 1st.
HOWEVER, don t fall below 70% hp.

4 pieces of shelterer is not good? You get a stack of 30 so 30% element damage,or would I do less damage?
You can run 4pc shelterer with 1pc bastille, depending on your star rating. But it assuming you are always over 70% hp, 3pc shelter + 2pc savior > 4pc shelterer + 1pc bastille
will full set of shelter be good? then + one piece of something else
@@4legion42 yes, you can opt for 4 shelt + 1pc bastille. It will however be weaker than 3pc shelt +2pc savior ( if when ur on 3 shelt + 2 savior ur always above 70% hp)
I think thunderclap is actually bugged coz it says after 20 stacks of PS a lightning strike(not original name) occurs WITH NO INDICATED COOLDOWN so by paper it should procs every 21st PS procs but I noticed that my thunder clap only procs about 2 times(usually) and 3 times(when I am lucky) per mag given I have 35 shots per mag using outerspace. I start noticing that the stacks get stuck at 20 for quite some time then procs like 10-15 shot late when it should have proc-ed on time
edit: 5-10 shots late, I actually over exaggerated

Hey man. Just wanted to ask, for the weapon and mask mods that can roll with static shock damage. I do know these are a pain to get due to them being from PW. But my question is, is it worth keeping a static shock blue roll with non beneficial sub stats, or is it better to get Talents + Status dmg rolls even if they are blue? (Got a thunderclap with 3.4% power surge dmg but has power surge crit and 2 other meh mods)

@@mawn7976 Sure. Thunderclap mod 1 (4/5 upgrade): Power surge dmg 3.6%, Dmg against eleite 4.5%, Max HP 3.6% and Power surge Crit dmg 16%. Alternative mod (4/5 upgrades): Talents 3.2%, Dmg against Great one 1.2%, Reload speed bonus 9.6% and Status dmg 3.6%.
@@mawn7976 My Gun has a Static shock 4/5 with talent roll 6.4%, Reload speed 4.8%, Dmg against great 4.8% and Head dmg reduction 4.8% - don't know if it is worth trying to gamble the last upgrade or to get one with status dmg.

There are a few popular possible reasons for this: try using purple tungsten ap ammo, make sure covered advance is active when doing the dps test, calibrate the gun to +10, calibrate all your gear pieces to +6 and you have less bonus dmg vs normal enemies

my build for outsider was the same as you but somehow when i tested it on dummy with all the buff eaten and used i just cant seem to hit 100k dps on the dummy .. my mods are even greater than yours .. im so confused whether the dummy bug out or not :(

I got it on first account from prime war now, people are saying chiron or in pro version but i think drop rate is reduced af.
For pve only prime wars drop the special suffix mods (power surge, shrapnel, etc) but in pvp servers you can farm them from certain silos, bosses, etc
@@ChristianKrillz if you want to get power surge suffix mods, they can be gotten from opening blue crates from PW in hard server, and they are also dropped from the operation chiron purple box
U can get them from Operatiin Chiron chests or PW chests

i dont get nearly that amount of dmg, i get max 28k with 820psi, 332dmg, 20 crit rate, 27 c dmg, 52 elm dmg, surge trigger bonus 30 dmg 2,4
I feel like at this piont it might be my ping thats at 180 thats making my dps stay at 35 to40k got all buffs everything in statusdm and elemental dmg mods in like 4 gear sets as food buffs but my damage is not going any higher
often times ping affects the dummy and often times will make the dummy not register your power surge procs

You probably don’t have as much dmg bonus vs normal enemies as I do. I use dmg bonus vs normal enemies to increase dmg vs dummies

i dunno man how the hell these builds work... i was power surger all s1. i see no buffs dealing 50k and yet me with deviation, bullseye buff deals 34k at max...but if i look on the mods.. i have the same , sometimes even better substats. and i just dont believe that one armor 5* is 50k dps difference. i would believe it if it was full build 5* . i even tried to play with expensive ammo, yet i cant get nowhere near NO BUFF dmg... idk how the game works it seems :D

They can be gotten from prime war blue boxes in hard seasons or every box in normal season prime wars, and can also be gotten from the purple box dropped from operation chiron event
