I've got friends that drive trucks and thanks to you I'm learning what they talk about. One of them claimed he lost his job at a trucking company because he couldn't use the CPAC they required. How about losing some weight?
I'm like still waiting to see your truck man I'm like when is he going to get out of shop when is it going to be rolling I'm waiting to see the picture of that all new fixed up truck
nope I go to school in March. Making a career change at 44. Had a major motorcycle accident back in 2013 and broke myself up some. Took some time off to think about what i want to do. But just passed my DOT but February class filled up. So will be out there trying to figure it out in a few months.
Driving is always something i wanted to do. I have a few family members out there. But financially I think now is the time. Single, No kids, house and glide paid off. Now I have to just figure out if i can go a couple years without riding the bike.
I had a study done 9 years ago. My machine is not that big. It's about the size of a clock radio but I'm glad I got it. I used to fall asleep at red lights and have headaches in the morning
My husband is having a sleep study this evening, finally. I have been trying to get him to go for a number of years. I'm proud of him, even though he's not happy about going. I know, whose happy about finding out if you have sleep apnea? He has been a linehaul driver for over 25 years and is over 50.
I took one it was a pain but after they put me on a machine I have never slept better. 6' and 334lbs They found that i stopped breathing for over a minute several times in an hour. When I use to wake up I had headaches and never seemed like I got any sleep. Getting put on a machine sucks but it was the best thing that ever happened to me.
I can tell you after having one for 4 years and haven't slept this well since i was 20 and weighed about 210. I can say if someone needs one they should just bite the bullet and get one. The clinic stopped my test 1/2 into and walked in looking kinda freaked out. Which of course freaked me out. Then they just put me on a machine and started a new test with the machine. I maybe slept 4 hours on it and when I got up I had never felt better. She tried to explain how much strain I was putting on my heart when i would stop breathing. Also she said I didn't snore but I would gasp for air like you would if you had been under water that just come to the surface.
This study was completely nerve racking! But I got through it. You gotta do what you gotta do! Best of luck!
