They even lashed at Martyn for the LimLife victory kill, so much so that Cleo had to publicly say that it was ok for them to shut up. As if fairness was ever a thing in The Life Series.
@@Wurmze she somewhat did. People were angry cuz the zombie apocalypse was the reason behind so many deaths within 1 episode, and the season ended quickly. So people blamed gem for causing it.

I think a lot of people are saying that it isn't truly broken yet, just that the curse was taken on by Lizzie when she joined the server again. We will just have to see how the next life series goes to see how the lore aspect of it is gonna work.
@@arthelierre5448 there was a week where Tango couldn't record so Ren took over his account and played, pretending to be Tango the entire time. It was brilliant and it was a nice way to include Ren when he hadn't be able to be a part of the series.
This animatic had some of the best parallel imagery with the song ever!! So not only was it a banger choice it was also super relevant, here are just some of the ones I caught 0:48 "We got them now lets break them down a little bit more" the piglin corning Marytn, breaking his shield (and his will) while sending him to his death 0:54 - "Feed the machine" Not much else to say but great depiction on successes literally feeding the machine 0:56 "Bring them all back down to their knees" Joel falling down obviously (and dying) and this ones a stretch but looking at how desperate Grian was not to fail his task/take damage because of Joel I would also say Grian was on his knees in a metaphorical sense haha 1:02 "Aint gonna make it out alive today" RIP torchy 1:04 "Hey you poison the well" damage via poison from the bees 1:07 "Watch it all burn take them straight to hell" This ones very obvious with the burning of the egg 1:09 "Hes got the whole world in his hands" Bdubs' globe!! (technically he called it Mumbo's world which is very cute) I like that his arms are thrown up to give the illusion of him "holding" it 1:12 "It was nice to know ya, we've all been damned come on" Bit of a stretch again but Gem opening the portal did lead to a lot of death in an indirect way. A lot of "damning" if you will 1:28 "Nothing's going on, no need to fear" We love irony in this household. Scar dodging yellows trying to guess his task but being VERY afraid 1:33 "We're all in this together" Just the wholesome heartgivers of the server 1:39 "We want the same thing, this will all be over soon" Gem's task this session was to lie and for some reason she really wanted people to go to the end so technically Bdubs and Gem do want the same thing, just for different reasons. I love how its depected as "manipulative" with her whispering it in his ear just like how it is in the song 1:55 "We're all going to die" On the exact frame the dragon (AMAZING DRAGON) dies with the previous frames being Jimmy and Marytn dying (side note: Martyns death being intentionally hilarious will NOT make him happy hahahah) 2:01 "Bring them all down to their knees" A stretch but man does Cleo look POWERFUL in this. I'monmyknees. I mean what who said that? 2:04 "We aint gonna make it out alive today" RIP Mumbo 2:10 "Take em straight to hell" Literal. Grian skull farming in the nether 2:15 "It was nice to know ya, we've all been damned" The most tragic death of the life series, not only because it was the first but because the only reason Lizzie was there was because Joel asked her to help him kill Scott. She was damned the minute Joel asked. 2:34 "No time to waste" That wither chased Scar for a good 10 minutes 2:38 "We ain't gonna make it out alive today" Another few deaths, Mumbo's being final. I love the way Everen shows Warden deaths, they're so beautiful and dramatic (we ignore it was because of a fence) 2:50 "We've all been damned come on" This is just sinister. Technically all deaths and destruction are just the statues fault in a way and with the final shot of Gem as the boogey was the perfect way to end this I probably missed some lines but oh well! Better excuse to watch the video again! Amazing work as always!!
Some that are a bit of a stretch as well, but could be considered missed is at 2:42 when Martyn is hiding in from the warden where the song says "Take them straight to hell". The whole experience could be considered "hell", correlating it with the song. Then at 2:45 when Grian gets the wither star (Is that the name of it? I forgot) the song says "He's got the whole world in his hands", meaning that Grian is holding something as great as the world, and with the uses of the star, it could be considered something as great as the world. This could also be taken in a different approach, where having the "world in your hands" is a bad thing because of how it shows how powerful you are, and could potentially make you a target. This connects with the animatic as well because of how in the frame Grians expression is kind of morbid, almost sad. Idk just some extra thoughts though.
Just fyi, Gems task WAS to lie the whole session at first, but she realized it was impossible and rerolled for a hard task instead, that task being to bring together a team to defeat the ender dragon.

They don’t heal. They have these task they *have* to do, but they can’t tell anyone which pushes them apart from their allies who also have a secret. It’s constant pain and fear, and the song I think is brutal enough to encapsulate this Anyway wow I’m speechless (^^ apparently not lol) it’s incredible

Alright headcanon time If anyone is familiar, there's a popular headcanon that the boogyman curse came about as a result of Skizz's bloodlust in Third Life, specifically when he charged headfirst into the Crastle but ultimately fell to Grian. My belief now is that something similar happened here. Upon seeing the destruction caused by the Warden and Wither, the Watchers had the Secret Keeper unleash the boogyman curse again to continue that cycle of mayhem.
I actually came up with a headcanon that the Watchers were so pissed that Jimmy survived the curse that they caused the wither vs warden and zombie apolocypse as punishment to the server.
2:32 “Bring ‘em all back down to their knees.” Love this shot! It’s like a reminder to Jimmy that just because he didn’t die first doesn’t mean he’s immortal. Insane job!
The life series is my favourite gaming series and I never stop watching it, even when I'm not much of a fan of Minecraft it's just sooooo good, sometimes I do get bored of them but when I watch these animatics they tell the story so well and they bring back my love for the series.
I was over Minecraft when I found Double Life n watched just for the sake of understanding the Soulmate mod I heard of. I relate a lot with this comment.
This is so freaking cool, all the tiny details like the bees, the dragon’s breath, Wither vs Warden, and Mumbo’s hilariously stupid death in the Nether, and that beautiful little canary feather floating around Jimmy and Lizzie was incredible. It’s crazy how you were able to dramatize everything, from the funny moments to the actually terrifying ones. This gave me literal chills, keep up the amazing work!
OKAY OKAY THAT WAS ACTUAL PEAAAKKK. Honestly when i watch your previous animations and then watch this one, it's like switching from 1080p to 4k , such a big jump in quality it's insanee. I love the added motion to all of the frames, and the animation of scar grabbing the secret task in the beginning is soo good I had to rewatch that part many times! It definitely looks like a 250hour + project, so many drawings are wallpaper worthy and yet they only have like a second of screentime, that's how good it is.
This might be the best animatic I've ever watched. I've never seen something capture the feeling of the Life series so well, no matter what happens, there's no happy ending, there's no relief from the pain, they're all cursed no matter what they do One of my favorite moments is when Lizzie dies with the song saying 'we've all been damned' and she has the canary curse feather... and when Jimmy is celebrating that his curse is broken, the feather still circles his neck like a noose. There's no escaping death.

OMG THIS WAS SO PERFECT!! 1:31 is one of my favourite scenes 'cause it perfectly encapsulates the three: BigB being shifty, Tango being obsessed with power and Skizz genuinely trying to do the right thing while everything else crumbles around him. The warden versus wither shot was probably the coolest in the vid and the scene of Etho just chucking a rock to summon the warden is probably my fave its so so cool!!
Also the perfect timing of everything! Showing Bdubs globe house while singing "He's got the whole world in his hands" is my absolute favourite example of this!!

To answer your dilemma on whether to make part 2, I feel like the entire community would absolutely to see it as this and the others you have made have been extraordinary in their ability to glorify an already amazing series. Seeing Scar's rampage, Grian's 1v3, and the Boogey-Apocalypse in your style would be amazing. Great Job!

I have watched this a couple times and I was so flipping impressed! There is such a visible difference between this animatic and Battle Cry it's crazy. I would make a list of all of my favorite frames, but that would be about the entire animatic! I can say that Cleo and the wolves gives similar vibes to Pearl riding Scar's horse with Tilly in Running Up That Hill and I love it. I think we all should appreciate the hand animation as well lol, I can see the work, time, and effort. The angst with Lizzie's birthday is so good too. Finally, the animation of Gem getting the boogeyman is such a good detail that you didn't have to do but did anyways, mad respect! Amazing job, hyped for the next one. Edit: This has pushed me to make my own animatics as well

The frame two minutes into the video is done really well, I love the extra detail on each individual dog. Also the purple shine in gems eyes at the end is such a fine detail that changed the entire shot.

The look between Grian and Etho when they had to make a wither and a warden fight gave me literal chills! This is amazing!
This animatic had some of the best parallel imagery with the song ever!! So not only was it a banger choice it was also super relevant, here are just some of the ones I caught
0:48 "We got them now lets break them down a little bit more" the piglin corning Marytn, breaking his shield (and his will) while sending him to his death
0:54 - "Feed the machine" Not much else to say but great depiction on successes literally feeding the machine
0:56 "Bring them all back down to their knees" Joel falling down obviously (and dying) and this ones a stretch but looking at how desperate Grian was not to fail his task/take damage because of Joel I would also say Grian was on his knees in a metaphorical sense haha
1:02 "Aint gonna make it out alive today" RIP torchy
1:04 "Hey you poison the well" damage via poison from the bees
1:07 "Watch it all burn take them straight to hell" This ones very obvious with the burning of the egg
1:09 "Hes got the whole world in his hands" Bdubs' globe!! (technically he called it Mumbo's world which is very cute) I like that his arms are thrown up to give the illusion of him "holding" it
1:12 "It was nice to know ya, we've all been damned come on" Bit of a stretch again but Gem opening the portal did lead to a lot of death in an indirect way. A lot of "damning" if you will
1:28 "Nothing's going on, no need to fear" We love irony in this household. Scar dodging yellows trying to guess his task but being VERY afraid
1:33 "We're all in this together" Just the wholesome heartgivers of the server
1:39 "We want the same thing, this will all be over soon" Gem's task this session was to lie and for some reason she really wanted people to go to the end so technically Bdubs and Gem do want the same thing, just for different reasons. I love how its depected as "manipulative" with her whispering it in his ear just like how it is in the song
1:55 "We're all going to die" On the exact frame the dragon (AMAZING DRAGON) dies with the previous frames being Jimmy and Marytn dying (side note: Martyns death being intentionally hilarious will NOT make him happy hahahah)
2:01 "Bring them all down to their knees" A stretch but man does Cleo look POWERFUL in this. I'monmyknees. I mean what who said that?
2:04 "We aint gonna make it out alive today" RIP Mumbo
2:10 "Take em straight to hell" Literal. Grian skull farming in the nether
2:15 "It was nice to know ya, we've all been damned" The most tragic death of the life series, not only because it was the first but because the only reason Lizzie was there was because Joel asked her to help him kill Scott. She was damned the minute Joel asked.
2:34 "No time to waste" That wither chased Scar for a good 10 minutes
2:38 "We ain't gonna make it out alive today" Another few deaths, Mumbo's being final. I love the way Everen shows Warden deaths, they're so beautiful and dramatic (we ignore it was because of a fence)
2:50 "We've all been damned come on" This is just sinister. Technically all deaths and destruction are just the statues fault in a way and with the final shot of Gem as the boogey was the perfect way to end this
I probably missed some lines but oh well! Better excuse to watch the video again! Amazing work as always!!
Some that are a bit of a stretch as well, but could be considered missed is at 2:42 when Martyn is hiding in from the warden where the song says "Take them straight to hell". The whole experience could be considered "hell", correlating it with the song.
Then at 2:45 when Grian gets the wither star (Is that the name of it? I forgot) the song says "He's got the whole world in his hands", meaning that Grian is holding something as great as the world, and with the uses of the star, it could be considered something as great as the world. This could also be taken in a different approach, where having the "world in your hands" is a bad thing because of how it shows how powerful you are, and could potentially make you a target. This connects with the animatic as well because of how in the frame Grians expression is kind of morbid, almost sad.
Idk just some extra thoughts though.
Just fyi, Gems task WAS to lie the whole session at first, but she realized it was impossible and rerolled for a hard task instead, that task being to bring together a team to defeat the ender dragon.

I love how the song matches the vibe I’ve always pictured the series cause in Minecraft it’s funny and like the reds are small children but if you put it in real life wounds don’t heal. They don’t heal. They have these task they *have* to do, but they can’t tell anyone which pushes them apart from their allies who also have a secret. It’s constant pain and fear, and the song I think is brutal enough to encapsulate this

Alright headcanon time
If anyone is familiar, there's a popular headcanon that the boogyman curse came about as a result of Skizz's bloodlust in Third Life, specifically when he charged headfirst into the Crastle but ultimately fell to Grian.
My belief now is that something similar happened here. Upon seeing the destruction caused by the Warden and Wither, the Watchers had the Secret Keeper unleash the boogyman curse again to continue that cycle of mayhem.
I actually came up with a headcanon that the Watchers were so pissed that Jimmy survived the curse that they caused the wither vs warden and zombie apolocypse as punishment to the server.
Posted it on reddit when it first happened, it was super fun
Or dare I say, they had the curse unleashed to _keep the machine feeding!_
That first shot of Scar surrounded by the winners is just so good.

The life series is my favourite gaming series and I never stop watching it, even when I'm not much of a fan of Minecraft it's just sooooo good, sometimes I do get bored of them but when I watch these animatics they tell the story so well and they bring back my love for the series.
I was over Minecraft when I found Double Life n watched just for the sake of understanding the Soulmate mod I heard of. I relate a lot with this comment.

This is so freaking cool, all the tiny details like the bees, the dragon’s breath, Wither vs Warden, and Mumbo’s hilariously stupid death in the Nether, and that beautiful little canary feather floating around Jimmy and Lizzie was incredible. It’s crazy how you were able to dramatize everything, from the funny moments to the actually terrifying ones. This gave me literal chills, keep up the amazing work!

OKAY OKAY THAT WAS ACTUAL PEAAAKKK. Honestly when i watch your previous animations and then watch this one, it's like switching from 1080p to 4k , such a big jump in quality it's insanee. I love the added motion to all of the frames, and the animation of scar grabbing the secret task in the beginning is soo good I had to rewatch that part many times!
It definitely looks like a 250hour + project, so many drawings are wallpaper worthy and yet they only have like a second of screentime, that's how good it is.

This might be the best animatic I've ever watched. I've never seen something capture the feeling of the Life series so well, no matter what happens, there's no happy ending, there's no relief from the pain, they're all cursed no matter what they do
One of my favorite moments is when Lizzie dies with the song saying 'we've all been damned' and she has the canary curse feather... and when Jimmy is celebrating that his curse is broken, the feather still circles his neck like a noose. There's no escaping death.
I saw someone do this for the last life animatic so I want to do it!

OMG THIS WAS SO PERFECT!! 1:31 is one of my favourite scenes 'cause it perfectly encapsulates the three: BigB being shifty, Tango being obsessed with power and Skizz genuinely trying to do the right thing while everything else crumbles around him. The warden versus wither shot was probably the coolest in the vid and the scene of Etho just chucking a rock to summon the warden is probably my fave its so so cool!!
Also the perfect timing of everything! Showing Bdubs globe house while singing "He's got the whole world in his hands" is my absolute favourite example of this!!

I have watched this a couple times and I was so flipping impressed! There is such a visible difference between this animatic and Battle Cry it's crazy. I would make a list of all of my favorite frames, but that would be about the entire animatic! I can say that Cleo and the wolves gives similar vibes to Pearl riding Scar's horse with Tilly in Running Up That Hill and I love it. I think we all should appreciate the hand animation as well lol, I can see the work, time, and effort. The angst with Lizzie's birthday is so good too. Finally, the animation of Gem getting the boogeyman is such a good detail that you didn't have to do but did anyways, mad respect! Amazing job, hyped for the next one.
