    I am seriously impressed with the wicker chair alone!

    That's a fantastic cockpit upgrade. I never would have guessed that you made your own wicker seat. It looks amazing. I am looking forward to seeing what you do next.

      Thanks, actually I posted a picture of the beginning of my work with the seat on the Community page and offer to guess what it is, but noone was able to do it, only after the 2nd try 🙃

    Wow. That looks like a pretty cool kit except for the flash. Something I might want to build sometime, but I could't do all the cool stuff you are doing to it 😉Keep up the amazing work!

      Thanks, yes the kit is not too too bad, but because it's Roden - you need to be ready to have harp knives a lot of putty and patience, lol. Also, I'm pretty sure that everyone can do same stuff, try and you will see - it just looks complicated ;-)

    Although it may have taken an evening to weave a small wicker chair back it outshines the Roden seat by miles....excellent job and, once again, another learning point. It has turned out so well with the attached leather back rest.......and the rest of the cockpit looks terrific, too. As I've mentioned before, you make rigging look so easy. Hope all goes well with your recovery and you're back in good health soon....cheers..Robert

    Amazing cockpit detailing and I love how you constructed the wicker backed seat. We really won't know that this started out as a Roden kit when you have finished! Excellent! ;)

      Thanks Mark, yes the kit seat can fit only a garbage bin, it doesn't look as original even from a 100m distance. You need to be creative or try to find aftermarket, I was not able to find a Barracuda seat, thus I had only one choice lol

      @@FlyingCircusModels "the kit seat can fit only a garbage bin" Love it! Your use of English is as creative as your modelling skills! Top marks for both! 😀

    What’s color of cockpit used for wood part’s? Tks.

    • @FlyingCircusModels
      @FlyingCircusModels  2 роки тому +3

      to paint wood I usually use Tan or Beige color as base and oil paints with dry flat brush after, for oil - it depends on type of wood I want to show, but usually Raw Sienna or Yellow Ochre, sometimes I can add some dots of Burnt Umber or Indian Red
