- After 3 years of digital nomad life, I've created a list of 5 places to live as a digital nomad for under $25 per day. These aren't your typical digital nomad hubs, but are off the radar and filled with beauty and culture.

Some great choices! I'm not too far from some of these atm, so will definitely be checking them out when I get the chance. :-)
Awesome! They are such gems I think. Where are you now?
@@TheNomadNextdoor Indeed! I've been in Tbilisi since March. Situation has been pretty good, so far. They're starting to open up again. How's Switzerland?!
@@GringoNation Ahhh Georgia sounds amazing I would love to go there! Switzerland is beautiful as always. Enjoying being outdoors and exploring!

Your list was different. Loved it 😍 thnx for the info ✨ would def vidit
Thanks fo watching Avni! I tried to include the not so typical places :)
North Macedonia, Albania are probably the best kept secrets in Europe. If you avoid the capitals of Bulgaria, Romania, and Ukraine, there is still incredible value to be had. I've heard that the center of Lviv is too touristy and noisy though. And does Pai have decently modern amenities? Places that are closer to the Myanmar border still use squat toilets.
Totally agree! I was in Lviv in October and it seemed like most people there were locals. The places I stayed in Pai were all equipped with more western amenities, but I’m sure you can still find places with squat holes if that’s what you’re looking for ;)
Thanks for your wonderful view really nice gems you found!
Only the background music make hard to concetrate while you do have a really good storie!
There are antique findings all around and 10 centuries old monasteries... 365 monasteries if you stay for a year!
What websites or resources did you use to find housing for these places? I watched your video on finding housing in Switzerland and am curious what might be different for these places!
It totally depends on the place. Most of the time it’s easy to find something on Airbnb or booking.com (Lviv, Lombok, Chiangmai), however sometimes I’ve gone to places in person once I arrive (home stays, apartments, any sign outside indicating accommodation) and negotiated a longer term stay in person (Lake Ohrid, Hïmare). Another option is to join a local housing Facebook group if you’re looking for something longer term (this works super well in places with a larger population of digital nomads living there such as Bali). Best of luck :)
Also i like safty and warm weather friendly people and i like vegetables and i like them organic / bio where did you find this and oo yes offcourse the internet is a must be good and stable
Hi, So curious about it, Did you link the first two destinations on a roadtrip or something like that? Or were separated trips.
Thanks a lot, new suscriber!!!
Exactly! I spent the first weeks in Lake Ohrid and then made my way up the coast in Albania via buses until I discovered Hïmare, and decided to stay a while :)
@@TheNomadNextdoor So a bus trip Is easy and safe the whole way? That's beautiful, thank you!
@@DiegoRRL it worked for me! You’re welcome best fo luck 🤙🏼
Yes yes please, I would love to know how visa works in Lombok
Perfect! I recently made a video about how to enter Indonesia! I’ll link it here: ua-cam.com/video/bz8i1GwpejQ/v-deo.html
@@TheNomadNextdoor thank you 🙏
How long did you stay in these locations? Looking for 1-2 month accommodations and came across this video!
Some 2 weeks some 2 months. I think 1-2 months is very doable in all these locations :)
@@TheNomadNextdoor any suggestions on finding long term accommodations?
@@DeeGreene it is honestly easiest to search once you’re there, as you can search by foot and negotiate longer stays. If you want to do it in advance, you can message Airbnb hosts to see if they have a long term discount, or try koning Facebook housing groups for the city. Best of luck!
@@TheNomadNextdoor heard other people say search once we get there but that makes me so nervous lol what types of places are you looking for once you get there?
am in to your top 3. Havent visited Ukraine or Marcedonia, i have visited Albania. And i can tell you i am in no hurry getting back there. compared to Greece where 98 percent of people are very friendly i would say in Albania it is like more maybe 70 percent or less are friendly the rest is very rude. And it is a very strange country they are not so use to tourist i think or something. Soe people there are very nice but i had some bad experience with very rude people in different ways. And also dont visit public toilletes. So i would take Greece any day over Albania, and there is still places in Greece that are calm and not so many Tourists. Ukraine i like to visit just trying not to get scammed from all girl scammers there :)
Is this USD to Canadian dollars?
In USD :)

I like to travel a lot and I am looking for a travel partner.
There are a lot of Facebook groups you can join and link up with others looking for travel partners!
Thanks. I just think that an unstructured video is not the right format to provide quantitative and comparative information about different places. At the very least, you should provide slides.
Thanks for your feedback! Slides would be a good option too. I tried to create this video in more of a casual conversational style, but I know it is not everyone's style. Will definitely consider adding more text in future videos.
Glory to Ukraine!
Good content-but not bothering to make the bed before making a vid is just…weird
Bed actually is made... The blanket wasn't big enough to fit the bed #digitalnomadlife
The is no Macedonia over Greece my dear....
Macedonia is a part of Greece, the birth place of Alexander the Great...
Also in your fake video, your"Macedonia" has sea... there is no sea in scopje...this is the truth....same same same....
I would nt recommend Ukraine right now...
Right now may not be the best time to go. Back in 2019 when I went it was wonderful.
