Simple ON/OFF Timer uisng IC 555 Timer
Automatic ON/OFF Delay Timer Circuit Using IC 555 by Manmohan Pal
This is a simple On/Off Timer circuit made with IC 555, the timing of the Delay can be adjusted by the Capacitor and Resister Values, higher the resister- more time delay, similarly higher the capacitor higher the time delay.
This simple Timer circuit can be used to make a On Timer as Well as Off timer, we can make a Mobile phone Charger Timer using this circuit which will Turnoff Charging after specific time, the timing can be adjusted by varying the values of R1 and C1.
We can also Make A Water Pump Off timer using the same circuit-

Hi very well done video. I want to add 1 thing in this information. You don't need to change direction of LED. If conect vcc to register to pin 2 and pin 2 to cap to gnd you get on pin 3 high out on startup and low after timeout. And if conect vcc to cap to pin 2 and pin 2 to register to gnd you get on pin 3 low out on startup and high after timeout.

Circuit which you made is semi automatic.
How to make it fully automatic? I mean 15 to 20 seconds it should be on and 15 to 20 seconds off? And it should happen infinite number of times
If removing negative supply than only led is on for continuous time and if connected the negative supply again to pin one than led off and ic is heating

Pin 2 ko threshold pin se connect krne ka kya reason h? Can we use another threshold voltages at pin 6 to disable the output and timer circuit whenever required?

Very descriptive circuit, thanks. Sir I am looking for circuit, which trigger relay for water pump on fix time on daily base, say every day at 22.00 hrs pump will on and on complet filling of over head tank, it will go off., this cycle on daily base. Pl suggest. Thanks

2 or 3 seconds cutoff keliye kitna value ka lena padega cap aur resistors. Aur Isse 5v relay chal nahi raha hai.
ic ko 12 volt pir chla kr dakho relay chal jai ga
2 sec - 18k resistor, 100 micro farad cap. And for 3 sec 27 k resistor , 100 microfarad cap
