Nice review Hugo. Your electronics lab now looks more spacious! I’m quite surprised that this meter has a graphing function. While the thermal cameras resolution isn’t high, at this price point I can’t complain as it is seems to be very good value.
Hello! Sorry for late reply, house move and vacations. Yes, seems a good price vs features and quality ratio, thanks for being here and for watching!
I would be interested to see some accuracy checks on the temperature readings particularly with respect to distance from object. You will appreciate as you have to move away from an object to get it into view - or can't get close to it - the accuracy will drop off.
Hello! Sorry for late reply, house move and vacations. Hmmm... you brought some interesting points to the "table", I have a very big queue of devices to test the following weeks, but I will take note of this and will try to make a new video with this kind of test. Thanks for watching and for sharing!
@@TechCornerTV Good . I will be interested to see it. 😁
hi
i have the same camera and has a problem with the temperature measure
is not steady and is ansstable at least 10 degrees
is there case to be someone set from the menu
or maby i have a hardware problem ?
thanks on advance
Hi, maybe it needs calibration. Not sure how to do it, do you tried to reach Tooltop? Thanks for watching.
Any suggestions as to what the problem could be with this multimeter? The thing is that it doesn't take measurements, the screen only shows 8888 even if the original tips are connected, thank you in advance.
Hi, you might got a bad unit, did you try to reach tooltop? Thanks for watching.
@@TechCornerTV The problem is that previously it worked normally but it has been in that state for approximately a week, and I no longer have a warranty with Tooltop
the built-in battery is replaceable? Please open the case to look inside
He did.
Hello! Sorry for late reply, house move and vacations. I did on minute 4:25 forward. Thanks for watching!
I need Driver for Windows 10. My PC wont recognize the device. And in the Description there was a software called IR_DMM
Hi, did you try in the Tooltop website? Thanks for watching!
If I may, I have a few suggestions for you.
35min is too long for a multimeter/thermal camera review. You can skip the repetitive tests and show graphs instead.
You need to prepare your reviews a bit more. You did not know the resolution and that is a critical information for the camera. You speculated on the USB mode function.
Diodes are polarised.
Also, you are moving your hands a lot in an unnatural way. Leave that to influences, your are doing tech reviews.
All the best.
Hi, sorry the late reply, trying to keep up with the comments, not easy. You're right on some of the points and I really appreciate the feedback, whitout it is not possible to improve, so again, really appreciated your comment. I will prepare better for future reviews, thanks for watching. PS - the hands, yeah, that's hard... it's not only the italians that speak with the hands... the portuguese too.
Can you see in the distance with this?
Hi, yes I can, like 5 to 7m. Thanks for watching.
@@TechCornerTV any further? Probably less detail
Did you figure out how to download the thermal photos to your computer?
Hi Chris, no, not yet. Thanks for watching.
is it fused?
Hi, probably, but I don't think it is fused as "normal" multimeters where you can change it for another one on the fly. Thanks for watching!
Looks cheap thanks for the review
Hello! Sorry for late reply, house move and vacations. It is cheap in price, but the construction is very acceptable. I liked, let's see if I can put it to use soon. 😁 Thanks for watching!
$275 price in SEA
Hi! That seems a bit, I've checked today here geni.us/tooltop-et12s and they have it for 91€ that is about $100, less than half. What is SEA? Thanks for watching.
Better than fluke? No.
Hi, c'mon, you're comparing a mercedes class E witht a peugeot 208. Will peugeot take you to where you need to go, sure, but you'll be more confortable in a mercedes, but that comes with a price. Thats the same here, you got what you pay for. Thanks for watching.
be carefull and do not buy the cheap one cause that will have a crazy low resolution which is useless low. The real one shown here is about 143€ here.
Hello! Sorry for late reply, house move and vacations. I know that the resolution isn't high. But even for this resolution the prices tend to be over 50€ just for the thermal imager, is true that the multimeter is a bonus, I can pass without it, but the all package is good, so I get what you're saying and totally agree with you, but the 300 pixels are still very expensive. Thanks for watching!
ET12S is 133€ while a 153,68€ brings you a TOOLTOP T7 256*192 Android Type-C Thermal Imager 25Hz
This is real poop nothing else, cheap multimeter attached to thermal imager toy to make you buy it for high dollar@@TechCornerTV
It's got those ugly Chinese UI font. Ugh.
Ahahaha... Hi, you're right, some UI work will improve a lot the UX. Thanks for watching.
