@@MeragRealm it really makes me sick, I don’t hate all Japanese only the ones who were following the imperial ways. If I were to saw one waving a flag and chanting the emperor’s name I will sure beat the shit out of him.
India wouldn’t have rebelled in fact there was a large army called the azad hind fauj that fought alongside the Japanese and in Europe there were indians who fought for the Germans and Italians too so I doubt they would have rebelled against anyone
@@fluffehpancakes1102I mean India was owned by the British for a hundred years or more, despite them outnumbering the British expeditionary forces 100 to 1 and the later governing bureaucrats 1000 to 1. How does that happen? Very simple, not everyone in India hated the British presence. Oftentimes one local ruler was played against another local ruler, legal documents were drawn up that those who sided with the British would be given supplies and wealth and access to the finest things in the world but their territory would revert to the British crown if they died without an heir, stuff like that. Anyways, you'll find that there were many who liked the foreigners being there and found common cause with them.
Haven't seen this far in the series so I'm just speculating but there's a couple explanations: First, it could simply be a flashback to an earlier period, around the time of WW2 when Arisakas were standard issue. Second is Japan in real life was really slow to adapt and famously stretched their empire thin, and I think the show reflects this by mostly depicting the Japanese with a WW2 aesthetic rather than the more up to date Nazi military. Plenty of the "current" day Japanese soldiers still use Arisakas in the show. He could just be in a unit that is using reserve gear, like how some rebels in Ukraine can even be seen with Mosin Nagants today.
This could've been the greatest alternate history show ever, but of course they had to make the last season about the lamest characters ever (woke BCR) and then they decided to end the show for zero reason. Liberals ruin everything.
what never made sense about the alt history part, is why did the BCR have AKs, RPDs, and RPGS? If russia lost ww2, presumably before 46-47, how could any of those weapons come to be? maybe Im mistaking the timeline, but it just seems weird.
@@MsShane8274 The assumption is that all of the top military scientists and their ideas came to be under German/Japanese/Chinese rule. Not too much of a stretch considering how much of Russia is neutral territory in the show.

Toru's struggle with PSTD from the war in China reminds of the struggles of Vietnam vets who came home from the war traumatized.
PTSD is no laughing matter.....
Exactly :/ !
Is this usually for Japanese Imperials to experience PTSD?

No one said it was.
I wish we had more scenes of the war in china and india.
Yes it would have been very interesting 😊!
China and India are quite overlooked in wwii but yeah they were horrible there. Korea too

Legit sort of a reflection of Vietnam vets during the same era if a few years early. The mirroring is uncanny.
Well that’s what happens when you mercilessly slaughter thousands of women and children east asians in their country you invaded
Indeed it. Considering this show is in a parallel 1962-64.
Why is he using an arisaka? When earlier seasons showed the Japanese with era appropriate Howa Type 64s.
b/c it was during the wars fought prior to the 60's era; think it's more like in the 40s.
Also some elements of the kempetai has arisaka rifles still.
Because Japanese in the series are showed like undeveloped country.

His son was shell shocked.
They’re using bolt action Arisakas in the 1960s, they definitely don’t stand a chance against the Reich lol
Both nations were phasing out antiqated weapons. The japanese had Daewoo (Korean name, idk the "Type" designation)while the riech had G3s
