Given, 5^3x ÷ 25 = 125
Since, 25 = 5 × 5 = 5^2
And 125 = 5 × 5 × 5 = 5^3
Therefore,the given equation can be expressed as:-
5^3x-1 ÷ (5)^2 = (5)^3
→ a^m ÷ a^n = (a)^m - n
→ (5)^3x-3 = 5^3
On comparing both sides, we get
→ 3x - 3 = 3
→ 3x = 6
→ X = 2
The answer is 2

(On the bases of law of exponent if base are same in equation in divide position than base will be subtracted.)
5^3x-1-2=5^3
(When bases are same we equate the numbers.)
3x-1-2=3
3x-3=3
3x=3+3
3x=6
x=6/3
X=2
So, answer is or x=2.

Sol : 5^3x-1 divided by 5^2 = 5^3
(as the bases are same we will equate the powers)
= first 5^3x-1 divided by 5^2 ,we will subtract the powers as the bases are same.
Therefore; 3x-1-2 = 3
3x-3 = 3
3x = 3+3
X = 6/3
Hence; x = 2

Homework sol:
5^3x-1 divided by 25 = 125
5^3x-1 divided by 5^2 = 5^3
(As the bases are same and they are being divided, we will subtract the powers)
Therefore; 5^3x-1-2
(now the bases are same we'll equate the powers)
=> 3x-3 = 3
=> 3x = 3 + 3
=> x = 6/3
Hence, x = 2

5^3x-1÷5^2=5^3
(Here bases are same) so
5^3x-1÷5^2 (Here we should subtract the exponents because bases are same
So, 3x-1-2=3
3x-3=3
3x=3+3
3x=6
x=6/3
x=2
So the Homework Answer is 2

The solution would be:
Firstly, we have to simplify and solve it using suitable law of exponents.
It's given that,
✍️5^3x−1 ÷25=125
Therefore we get
=25=5×5=5^2
And
=125=5×5×5=5^3
Since the given equation can also be written as,
✍️=5^3x−1÷(5)^2=(5)^3
✍️=(5)^3x−1−2=(5)^3
Using [∵a^m ÷a^n=(a) m−n ]
✍️=(5)^3x−3=(5)^3
By comparing both of the sides, we got
✍️=3x−3=3
✍️=3x=6
✍️=x=2
So the value of X turns out to be 2

•we can write 25 as 5² and 125 as 5³

>>>5^3x-3=5³
Now we have equal base so we can ignore that and we can solve it by exponent
>>>3x-3=3
>>>3x=3+3
>>>3x=6
>>>x=6/3
