yah, I'm getting a vibe not dissimilar to the , for many "Lot heads", the gold standard of vampire movies of the past -the 1979 mini series Salem's Lot with David Soul, James Mason, Bonnie Bedilia, Lance Kerwin, etc..... very hopeful!!!!!! Sundown ROCKS

They've done two miniseries based on the book. I think a miniseries would be able to tell the story more fully than a two hour movie. But this looks good. Salom's Lot is my favorite Stephen King book.
