- King's College Circle at the University of Toronto has become the site of an encampment by pro-Palestinian demonstrators despite fencing being erected to discourage against it; midtown residents near an intersection where a mother and child were struck by a vehicle say speeding has been a constant issue; and, the OPP says they're now screening all drivers they pull over in the GTA for alcohol with a breathalyzer test.

Protests should be banned/made illegal across this country. It is becoming very unsafe to have an opinion different from their. We have lost our tolerance of each other for the most part. We have to ears to listen and one mouth to speak. So, listen more and sleep on responses. You more than likely see things differently.
simple solution suspend students indefinitely , and any student on a visa deport then ban from Canada for life, the more you allow these radical groups to do what they want the more they get stronger , this is the legacy of Trudeau that will haunt Canada for generations ,

More likely the university is letting them into UC and the other buildings around the Circle to use the bathrooms. Unless they cordon the encampment, letting people out but not in, they can't stop food and water coming in. But this takes more 24/7 security resources than the university likely has. If the Toronto Police won't intervene to clear trespassers -- they won't, no police in Canada will unless there is violence -- there really isn't anything the university can do as the encampment takes over the Circle. The U of T Police are security guards. They aren't going to walk into the encampment and start pulling down tents hoping no one hits them with a rock.
It was foolish tactically for the University to give them a 10:00 p.m. deadline when it knew it had to way to enforce it. When American universities issue deadlines, they know the city police will respond at their request.
Trouble is, universities are mostly female now. They only know Kumbaya. Eff em all.
They're using construction sites and university for their needs.
