Great DX to the USA - 3 Nations WWFF

- I teamed up with my friends & fellow UA-camrs once again for another collaboration.
This time we decided that it would be fun to simultaneously activate 4 World Wide Flora Fauna references in 3 separate countries!
We also decided to operate from our vehicles ahead of our planned livestream discussion about operating mobile.
This resulted in a massive pile up which took me nearly an hour to clear!
It was a great success, with numerous DX contacts into Canada & the USA.
Please check out the other participating UA-cam channels:-

The Amateur Radio UK channel is run by UK radio amateur M0GQC (James). As the channel name would suggest, the channel focuses primarily on amateur radio within the UK!!!

Thanks for the WWFF QSO James and for having the camera running when I worked Dave too. Hope you've recovered from working that massive pile up!

Nice catches to the states and NS. Cheers from the U.S.
A good one James and all, come to that.
Nice to see the car setup. Fun with pileups like that 👍🏻
Grand job James. You looked shattered at the end of that!

Yep. 110 contacts in just over an hour will do that to you!
@@AmateurRadioUK that's epic. I think 60 is my record from a summit. I would have liked to try the delta loop on 20 m but I ran out of time.
@@theradiorover If my experience on 20m was anything to go by, I think you would have had some great DX & an absolutely epic pile up!
I think you said that you were on your way to somewhere in the afternoon, so I'm guessing that you probably wouldn't have wanted a massive pile up that you couldn't clear!
Nice one James!
Thanks Tim.
Nice one James
Cheers Tony.
Great video. James we have the same name, same car, same brand of radio and similar callsigns! How much of a coincidence is that 😂. James M0GJQ
Thanks. Great minds think alike!!!
Great video James. Always something quite satisfying about working through a pile up! Just wondering if you could supply some information on the battery that you're using? Many moons ago I used to use a leisure battery for my portable work but I know times (and batteries) have changed!
Hi Mark. I was using an Ultramax 22Ah LiFePO4 battery to power the radio.
@@AmateurRadioUK Thanks James. My old leisure battery I used to keep in a cool box, with a spare set of power leads connected. Ideal for storage and ease of carrying.
