If only Ajax would have kept his cool and not resisted and decked the cop,a good court appointed lawyer just might have been able to get him off on a technicality, since that woman never identified herself as a police officer or read Ajax his rights.
Awesome movie when it came out I was 19 , watched it last year at 62 years old and still loved it .
I remember watching when i was maybe 8 or 9 am 35 now and still my favourite film
Yeah, I saw it at the movies in New Jersey. All the grammar school kids were rumbling with the school in the next town over nothing. Hazlet rules!
I was 18, 63 now brilliant film, that and "scum" best films of 79
I was fifteen...
18 and 61
Please for the love of God don't remake this leave this one masterpiece a lone
If they do, you know at least one of them will be trans.
Don't give them any ideas. They did just that with "Road House" most recently.
also dont make it woke
Already in pre production
@@pukeclaw1147- What does that mean? No black characters? Half of them are black. No women? What about the Lizzies? No gay characters? Rembrandt is clearly gay.
Snow was the Warriors secret weapon. Calm, cool, quiet, but when it's go time he comes in like a hurricane.
I’m tellin u! He wasn’t playing at all💪🏾
Snow ?………”Swan “ !
Yeah he was definitely one of the best if not the best fighter in the gang, he was cleaning house
That's why he and Ajax were the Heavy muscle
Also with the game in cannon a damn good reason Cleon brought him, Ajax, and Swan with to take down Chatterbox
He was muscle
Ajax was violent and naive
Swan is a good leader
Remember: don't wear rollerskates when engaging into fight
Don't mess with the Warriors.

"Warriors, come out and plaaaa-yay!" has gotta be one of the top improv lines in cinema history.
Remember the movie :
The Wanderers ? 😉👍
( About Bronx gang life in the '60's )
I didn't know that was improv. Totally nailed it!
Warriors vs Dirty Harry would be interesting
i wish directors would film new movies with old cameras from the 80s. It just feels and looks so much better.
Amen seem to look better
They sure do. And there are various reasons why.
If you really want to see how right you are, a recent movie was made with this in mind.
And it looks stunning.
THE BATMAN
I thought I was the only one who thought that. The lighting was cooler looking back then too. The old night scenes in New York were amazing.
@@hulkhuggett
Are you aware, that that's partly to do with the type of Street Lighting used back then?
@@pathogeneration5138 It was awesome. The old burger joints with the yellowish-color lighting that made a buzz noise. The smell of cigarettes everywhere and ashtrays mounted every 3 steps of every building. It was the peak of modern humanity. It's a new era now.

Sorry to bust your bubble. It's not one of the best it is the best movie ever!!! "Warriors come out to plaaayyy"!!!
This Movie is a Classic.
The pacing is so awesome. Instead of a continual bombardment of the senses, there used to be a little thing in cinema called "suspense." When the fight scenes do finally break out, it makes the action effectively bombastic and intense.

We need to protect this film because Hollywood is about to
Ruin it by making a terrible reboot or something
What I mean by terrible they about add woke stuff
@@Horro_riderit would be a bunch of conservative having to fight their way out of San Francisco, taking on a trans gang, a gang of rabid, body positive , blue haired feminazis, then a final showdown against an army of liberal white women and soy boys, led by AOC and Cackling Kamala, all while cenk ughur keeps everyone updated on CNN and NPR.

My favorite part is when Swan threw ol boy through damn restroom door
Same. Dude tough.😂😂
I gotta, Snow breaking the baseball bat off that dude's ribs right before that scene was pretty rad.
True. I liked when that punk missed Cowboy and he decked him
@@Thunderchild-gz4gc yeah that was a good one too
I wish before we saw Cyrus and everything we would’ve got a glimpse of how the Warriors operate in the streets and get some more backstory on them and watch all of them together, whooping ass as one full gang before Cleon died. That would’ve been a dope to put in the movie, I like how in the video game that came out with the destroyers I really dug that storyline
Yeah but at least we got to see him give THE ROGUES a good ole fashion BUTT KICKING
Yeah that would be awesome I mean they kick so much ass getting home I could imagine Swan and his crew would be a formidable unit
@@BlazeSkipper No Doubt bro swan was unstoppable no matter what he was chosen to lead the pack but a backstory to Cleon would have been awesome
Play the PS2 game, it is great.
@@luthfinicolasereni5595 The game was awesome though when I was young I couldn't mash the square button hard enough to get away from the moving coaster. I got there in the end but that part annoyed me slightly
This was my favorite fight scene in the whole movie. I also love how the leader of the Punks looks exactly like Henry Rollins circa ‘83. 🤣
MY WAAAAAAR YOURE ONE OF THEM
I love Cochise acting, the way he breathes when Snow thells him his buddy Ajax was caught by the police, and the face changing then. It's a very cool character, the only one wearing the complete mohican warrior outfit, with the ornaments, pants and boots, he also has that very cool positive personality. I think he's my favorite.
Imagine if Ajax was in that fight he would’ve did some serious damage to the punks.
That’s a beautiful thing about the game. I love the video game because you can definitely do that.
I’d consider Ajax to be the most strongest physically, he’d end up tearing through half of the punks especially with the big dude in red overalls.
@@Johnny_SerenityAjax was the muscle for the gang. He was ready for action. Thsts someone you need on your team.
He is, even in the game he has the highest stats out of all the Warriors surpassing Cleon and Swan @@Johnny_Serenity
Yes, Ajax was the strongest, but not the best overall fighter. That was Swan, which is why he was War Chief. Fans of The Warriors canon may be aware that prior to the events of the film, Swan narrowly defeated Ajax in a fight, which earned him that title. The victory was a result of Swan's superior technique, which in my personal experience can usually overcome brute force.
Holy fuck the remaster looks amazing. Like a brand new film
Much better than a lot of actual action films or 70´s kung fu films. This film is awesome.
Always loved the idea of this movie and the rival gangs being so distinct from one another.
I always wondered why they didn't ask about Fox.
AJAX would have loved this tear up, sham he missed out.
AJAX got out the very next day for entrapment.
How u know that about Ajax. In the cartoon extra scenes In the special anniversary edition.
I was propped pissed off when he got arrested !!! He was my favourite warrior
Actually is a fact that he is everyone’s favourite
Ajax got it on with Feyenoord after
James Remar(Ajax) wanted to come back in this scene.🎬 Director Walter Hill said No.
Best also the creepiest mainly because the Punks never said a word plus taking place in a subway bathroom made it more gritty.
The Rollers
I love how everybody showed up the way they were supposed to
People took pride in punctuality back then
All except for Ajax,he tried to get lucky and struck out.
It was written that way in the script...
Rebuilding those stall doors must have consumed about half the movie budget
They were prop doors, of course, made to easily shatter. Just like the glass windows and bottles in many films. Imagine how scarce stunt people would be if they were expected to go through real wood or glass. The best shot in that scene was the prop bat breaking on the guy's abdomen...ouch!
@@russw9159nah, looked like an obvious prop bat. Kinda good but kinda not.
Balsa wood. Hollywood's best kept secret....
It was on a set not in an actual subway bathroom

@@angelrios2179 hey you only have 2 years on me! It's a pretty timeless flick. Crazy how good it still holds up. Usually some of the "older" movies lose some of the watch ability
Don’t remind that my life is one foot in the grave.
The baseball dudes & the lizzies were great too. They way that little blond lizzie moved while dancing was enough to give me a chub. Great song during that dance too. Never did find out what it was
The song is called "Love is a Fire" by Genya Ravan.
Ajax is the muscle and Cochise knows he'll b missed. Swan maybe War Cheif but Ajax is by far the.hardest.
I'm so glad this movie is loved by so many people and the fact that some NBA players of the more modern generation are bringing it into their on court beef is fantastic and funny (Rockets and Warriors).😂😂
Iconic and badass.
lol I've watched this movie more times than I care to remember and the dude in the rollerboots (Konrad Sheehan) was also the 2nd lead Ducky boy in the Wanderers in the same year, how cool is that.
Whoa, Forgot about the Ducky Boys.
This was Snow's crowning achievement, did so much damage here!❤
14th street Union Square Station. I knew it like the back of My hand. Classic NYC Movie, with all the Grit and Grim included. Will always love The Warriors!
4:47 the way he randomly comes out of the bathroom like that is the most hilarious part 😂😂
Love how Cochise is still thinking about Ajax after everyone else is still walking...great acting great directing. Funny? This movie wouldn’t be the classic that it is if every Warrior made it to the end...but deep down inside you wish they would 😢🔥☝️ 1981 should have made a prequel Mr Hill for us fans
Walter Hill was one of the best directors in the 80’s- Warriors,Southern Comfort,The Long Riders,48 Hours.
The best fight scene in the movie. This is what the scene with the Baseball Furies should have been like!
I love the old suspense music. That creepy synth really builds tension.
average school bathroom fight be like😂😂
Cochise didn’t get hit the whole fight he was just sneaking people 😂
The video quality is amazing! :)
The only thing that always annoyed me about that movie is how skinny the "warriors" were.
I mean, come on, they should be a bit more muscular than that...
Why? Their young guys not bodybuilders
Great movie! That Punk at 6:47 was incredibly strong to launch that Warrior into the mirror! 😄
I mean did you see the size of that punk
A Brilliant Film, loved it when i first saw it aged 17, still love it just as much aged 54
The Warriors is such a great film. Please Hollywood....For the love of all things holy, never be tempted into taking this cinematic classic, and remaking it.
Mais la colorimétrie est tellement parfaite. 😍🤩
best fight scene in the movie
Good thing I saw it years ago but I can't hear it for my phone and I have the volume all the way up
Yes.

Nah, the fight against the Lizzies is the best. The fight against the Furies is just underwhelming.
@@TheBlazingDead nah this one is the best
The concept of the movie is great. If the gangs could ban together it would be chaos.
National Guard would mobilized
@Thunderchild-gz4gc the Gangs Out numbered the National Gaurd.
It's ALL about Numbers. Weapons do have a huge factor. That's why the 2nd Amendment is Important.
LAC should be able to own anything out there.
If Cleon and Ajax was in this scene this fight would've been over in three minutes lol Ajax strength and Cleon's skilled fighting the punks would've been demolished.
This film never gets old they don't make them like this anymore a classic
this is definately the best fight scene in the movie.
In an interview they said it took 4 months
When he’s not tired from all the running, Cowboy has one hell of a left hook lol
Thank you
I miss the grainy look of 70s and 80s movies. It makes it feel so must more real and visceral!
I love this scene, action packed! I always called Snow... Michael Jackson because he looked like him at the time. Here's an Easter egg, the guy on the skates also played in "The Wanderers" as one of the DUCKY BOYS. Both movies were being filmed at the same time so I guess he tried out for an extra.
The Punks Are my favorite gangs of the warriors.
Someone asked me once, what's your favorite movie of all time. I said the Warriors.
I miss the old time look of the Bathrooms, the lights and everything i remember as a kid in the early 1980s most places had that old seventies, sixties look yet. It was eerie and exciting when you would use the bathroom alone as a kid and it was empty with the low dim lights humming. The places were a little bit dirty but mostly just run down and old looking.
this is not only the best fight in the movie but a really good fight in general classic scene
Can you imagine if Ajax made it to this fight 😅
I love the glass mirrors. Ah, the good old days.
I love the constant climax and adrenaline rush that thw film carries
I love how most of the gang members in this movie are some of the least intimidating people you will ever come across.
I don't care what anybody says this is the best fighting scene in the movie!!
I remember when this movie came out, and they would play it in midnight showings. After getting out of the theater, there would always be "gang" fights. People are such morons.
The main punk looks like he’s going to start chasing Andy Barkley I am your friend to the end, Heidi ho ha ha ha
Punks first meeting.
Roller Skate Leader: We need something to separate us from the other gangs. I move for a motion that our official gang uniform are overalls.
Goliath Sammy Hagar: Where am I going to find one my size?
Увидел этот фильм в 1988 г. Пересмотрел через 30 лет. Никакого разочарования - только удовольствие от сюжета, съёмок, игры актёров. Браво.
Awesome flick I watched it way back when and my son has now watched it .. loves it like i did
Best fight in the film, though they were all great. The special edition Blu-ray reveals that this film is a graphic novel brought to life. The fight scenes reveal this clearly, since most of the blows would have resulted in severe trauma or death.
I've watched the directors cut with more time added to this fight in the bathroom
I was there that night when all this went down. I wore a vest. I ended up with some stitches and a busted rib. But I wouldn't change a thing for memories like that.
Everyone is commenting on the roller skates. In the DVD commentary, they said they decided to put him on skates at the last minute because he was so short. The actor was also one of the Ducky Boys in the movie "The Wanderers". For that movie they only casted actors who were 5'5" or shorter to play members of the Ducky Boys gang.
You've got to love Deborah van Valkenburg, Walter Hill also used her later in "Streets of Fire."
Best fight scene in the movie by far.
This is the best fight.
My NYC! growing up (bx/harlem)
I'll take a TIME MACHINE back if I could🙏
Not bad fight scenes for back in the day...I must say...
I watched this movie from 3am till 5 am; In my country sun rises around 5:12 am, I just felt like I was in that fight, in that night and the fight was happening around me. Great movie even being a "linear" story it handled well this night/crime atmosphere.
I'm glad I had this extra magic while watching this movie, but it sure still one of the bests movies of history out there. It's even funny that a simple movie made so much sense and felt so "fantastic" when putted together. It's one of its own kind forever.
I like how that one punk on the roller skates moves really well throughout the subway without losing his balance or hitting something accidentally
But he had one weakness the spray
Snow and cochise in this fight so brutal
superb film... the DVD is at home, it's a classic
Swan et Cochise étaient tellement cool ! Un film puissant qui a passé le test du temps haut la main.
7:15 I always loved this segment where Cowboy and Cochise keep Swan safe.
Those two and definitely Snow were the MVP's of this fight
Brilliantly played by actors David Harris(Cochise) now age 65, Tom McKitterick((Cowboy) now age 67 and Michael Beck(Swan) now age 75.
6:50 Vermin down, hope one of them had flash to revive him, lol those who know get it
What a great movie. I saw this as a teenager.
Can’t believe I’ve lived so long but have never seen this!!
Warriors come out and play yay
The old movie music was excellent.
I love this movie 2024!!!
Like ! Michael Beck stated at the End of the Movie. The Best ! Like this Fight Scene in the Movie ; And This Movie !;! The Best.
Huh? What did Beck state?
Back then they knew well how to instill terror from liminal spaces, even before these turned into a trend in creepypasta...
I don’t think even Chuck Norris ever attempted a roundhouse while wearing roller skates
This movie was better than all the woke garbage being pumped out now a days.
No me canso de ver esta película
Ajax play more movies than any ot the other actor.on the movie he was in Red part 1 ,mortal combat as Regan the god of thunder plus more movies.😅
Wish the sub stations were as empty as they were back then. Too bad politics ruined it.
Like a Movie reviewer once Said. It's not the Movie, it's when they Start talking. They Don't Sound Like Real Gang Members
One of the best choreographed fight scenes ever filmed.
Yeah but Ajax got smashed in the gut with that cops baton, he he immediately coughed up alot of blood. Its safe to say he's probably got some serious internal damage needing surgery like yesterday
5:36 tall guy in the red shirt - same guy who played the leader of the Baseball Furies
Oh shit good catch I didn't notice that.
Damn he’s tall
Wrong. Baseball Fury #1 was played by the late Jery Hewitt deceased 11/2020 age 71 and Rob Ryder was the tall guy with the red shirt. Two different actors.
