I am dealing with my partners depression and him withdrawing from me. It’s wreaking havoc on my mental health as I’m generally quite an anxious person. I am fighting my thoughts as this withdrawal reminds me of past situations that made me feel this way. But this is not the same situation. This is someone who loves me. pile #1. literally started crying bc i have a HUGE exam in june. it's a college entrance exam and it's literally the number 1 stress inducer for ALL high school students in my country. my life kinda depends on it and every older person around me has been saying that i won't get a job if i don't do well enough in the exam for the last 4 years. there is a chance to take it again next year but i really need to get it over with this june so i can be freed from the stress of it, i really can't do this for another year. i also just randomly had an idea for a book plot pop up in my head at school and immediately started working on it a few days ago. i've been writing for almost 10 years, i even wrote stories as a child but never managed to finish any of my favorite projects so i really hope this one will be the one i finally finish. AND with the "one step at a day" part, my therapist literally told me the EXACT same thing a few days ago, it's crazy. i also noticed that there's a lot of balance and scales symbolism in the cards, im literally a libra. and about the devil card; me studying for the exam is known by everyone but i am keeping the new book project a secret, literally haven't told anyone about it. im actually shocked at how accurate this reading was. i really really hope i can get into the uni and major i want and also get the success with the new book.

Pile 2. This is pretty much exactly how the last few weeks of my life have played out. After taking a full year to both get over my ex who I adored wholeheartedly and fully detach from the ex friend at the heart of the conflict that pushed us to split up in the first place, my relationship with my best friend recently got more and more flirtatious to the point that one of our mutual friends was commenting on how cute we are. When my best friend (who I'll be mixing and matching pronouns for because they're genderfluid) spelled out for me in no uncertain terms that they've pretty much had feelings for me since the first time we met, I remembered that I had feelings for him that I've suppressed at least twice-once back when we still didn't know each other that well, and again when I learned she was engaged. Her wife did recently give the okay for us to be together (and it happened in the most chaotic way possible), so that part is no longer an issue, but the night before, when I confessed I had some feelings for him, I talked about how I've had people tell me outright that they're interested only for them to never talk to me again or to later learn they were lying. He kinda had to remind me he's not that kind of person and neither of us is in high school anymore, but even to this day, my anxious mind thinks sometimes that there's no way they're this relentlessly charming to me without some kind of catch. I'm taking this reading as a reminder that my now partner has never given me reason, especially because my new partner is Norse pagan, specifically a follower of Fenrir and Loki. Seeing Fenrir himself on one of the cards and having a lot of Loki's family be mentioned in this reading can't possibly be a coincidence ❤
