this is the flash that actually convinced me to start reading homestuck. it means so much to me. everyone did an incredible job, the animation styles blended SO nicely together. the claymation snippet gave chills down my spine, aradia is so well modeled.
The fact that Homestuck is still so well-loved to have fans making amazing things like this just warms my heart. Everyone did such amazing work and the unique styles that everyone had and how they were all used so seamlessly together is fantastic

I loved the animation style in 2:31 but I could watch 2:44 to 3:05 forever that scene is amazing definitely one of my favorites! Aradiabot is so bad ass😍

The whole thing is a BANGER but the part with Eridan and Sollux straight up blows my mind. The sheer smoothness of it. The way Eridan draws from his fetch modus??? Holy shit.

This is incredible. So many good moments and takes on the transitions, and then lightning McQueen and a recolored spider AND THEN a pretty heckin good stop animation - until it turns into puppets complete with grey body paint. It's a perfect mix of serious effort and irreverent jokes that makes me still love this fandom
My favorites were probably Pi3shark, Zelpixel, and EbenRoseTaylor. Pi3shark did such a great job portraying Eriden and Solux. Zelpixel's art was just beautiful, and the stop motion by EbenRoseTaylor was so creative.
THIS IS, LIKE, SOOOOOOO AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL!?! I absolutely love all the comedic inserts in this animation, like Vriska as a literal spider, Tavros in a Little Tykes car (me, watching: I HAD ONE OF THOSE AS A KID!!!) and driving Lightning McQueen (and Aradiabot being so horrified by that fact that she ends her torturing and leaves when she sees it.) Pretty sure he was also on a purple Yoshi or something at some point, too. The clay-mation was amazing as well, that Aradiabot was TERRIFYING. The part where it was like "screw this," and the animator just took the dolls and shoved them together with their hands, sort of breaking that clay-mation magic but ending it with pure comedy was absolute magic. I laughed so hard. This entire thing is just fabulous and amaze. Fabaze. Fantastic job to everyone who worked on this, and thank you. I truly hope for more of these epic reanimations to come in time.
The part with the dragon mind controlling Terezi and having her look up at skaia/the sun gives me chills every time without fail, it’s so amazing, especially the shots from a low viewpoint
I think what this sequence in the comic proved was that despite Sburb/Sgrub being a game that gives its players a literal hero's journey the chosen don't necessarily have to emotionally mature in order to win. The societal conditioning Doc Scratch did to the Beta Trolls compelled them to defy the game's intent by winning through brute force instead of growing up. It's only fitting that in the end that their reward was denied and they tore each other apart. It doesn't matter how much you win on paper. If you don't try to learn something personal from the experience, your victories will forever ring hollow.
This really did move me to tears. It is phenomonally done, so much creative talent and power squeezed into three and a half minutes. So faithful to the source, and yet you expanded on it beautifully with the styles. Not to mention this if my favorite Homestuck flash. I am so grateful for the work you all put into this. I hope you are able to keep on animating, and keep on putting out masterpieces like this. Just stunning. I can't stop watching. Really made my night. I can't put into words how grateful I am that this was put together.

Everything looks incredible compiled together! It definitely has a much grander effect than just going to each finished shot in the server and watching them separately. Everyone's work really shows and I'm glad I got to be a part of this.

It lacks the stylistic whiplash of other similar collabs, and I think that can be credited to the ever-shifting style of Homestuck itself.
Vriska as a literal recolored spider with horns was hilarious! Same with Tavros’ Lightning McQueen ride.
Found out that Tavros is an actual Bull in a Playmobile car when Vriska is the recolored spider.
