Hello! You saw the freediving video. The Vostok watch shining in the sea is really pretty. I have a question. Where did you buy the bezel and bezel insert? Can you give me more information? I want to customize too.
The stainless steel bezel insert is a custom part for Seiko skx that I got from yobokies, the knurled bezel, for fitting a Seiko insert on a vostok, is from One-Second-Closer.
How does the bezel work under water ? Could time stuff with it ? People always complain about it being friction based and bi directional but I don't think that should be a problem, you don't go around scraping your arm anywhere under water so it shouldn't really move. Clicks only make setting it a more tactile experience. If I'm not wrong every early diving watch had a simple friction bezel and worked fine, clicks are nice but it shouldn't be a problem to time stuff under water regardless. Would love to hear back from you regarding your experience, cheers
Controversial question. My point view is that if a dive requires an accurate timing and calculation ( any dive with air tanks or for multiple or prolonged freediving session) the digital dive computer is the only option. For any other recreational dive or as "backup" the analogue diving watch is ok. The amphibia bezel is not the most satisfying to turn, but for his intended use, it works perfectly fine. You can use it for timing with no issues despite being bi-directional. If I have to choose, the best bezel by feel and clicks is the citizens promaster 60 clicks bezel. It's super firm and accurate.
@@jcbmax1 yep, the lume dot is pretty bright and could be use as reference for timing, the other printings on the bezel are rather small and are not as much useful. The lume dots on the dial are not the brightest but do his job.
@@Mikicomi23 I'm planning to get a model that has a bezel without a lume. I'm planning to take that to a dive class. Will the original bezel without lume be a problem in timing under water, say 20-30 ft during day or late evenings? I like the style though and maybe would apply aftermarket lume on it so that it becomes a lumed pip for reference. Not sure if that lume material ll hold up for long for underwater use. I don't wanna change the bezel. Would love any practical suggestion.
Finally a diver watch that’s underwater thanks for sharing
Wow! Somebody actually dives with a diving watch! Couldn`t even imagine that))
That's a very beautiful watch band. Also a great video, thanks for taking us for a dive!
Boctok in the element it was intended to be in…

Todos los canales que reseñan Vostok Amphibia lo hacen desde la alberca, este es el primero que lo hace buceando, felicidades 👌🏼

Beautiful... Thanks for sharing!
Nice Vostok too!
Complimenti!!!
Molto suggestivo il tuo video.
Mi è piaciuto 👏👏👏
fantastico, ne ho uno "vecchiotto" e ho appena acquistato uno dei nuovi automatici!
Wonderful video! Thank you so much for sharing!
Great to see a watch in water, what is the case and how is the bracelet
The case is a vostok amphibia 710 that I had modified (reduced and mirror polished)
@@Mikicomi23 Got the same case
bellissimo video, che canzone è in sottofondo ?
Grazie!

Complimenti !!
Wow, is there lume on the bezel?
On the bezel only the white dot at 12h is luminous.
@@Mikicomi23 is that lume any useful? And is the lume on the indices any useful as they're faint anyway?

@@jcbmax1 yep, you will have a plenty of choice for an aftermarket lumed bezel insert. Anyway it is not necessary for diving.
