- In today’s episode we get acquainted with the family 60 Series Land Cruiser. My eldest son’s FJ62!
We dive into the teardown of that front axle in preparation for the new 4.88 Nitro Gears and ARB Air Locker to match the existing rear setup, which will bring full functionality back to this Classic Toyota 4x4!

I have 60.000mile 60series Australia still has original plastic from dealer on seats even sparewheel sticker bottom of tailgate
For a good while it seemed 60/62s were kinda forgotten about among the hype of the classic 40s and 80s+ but a few years ago like the flip of a switch they went from Bing $5k all day to $20k+

Not sure when I can get you those specs. The truck isn’t on the property for now. But next time I see it I’ll try.
Probably just 31” tires with 10x15 wheels.

Got a question,,if you just done a hub and knuckle rebuild a year ago ,,and you were going to do a gear swap
Would you replace all seals and gaskets again or just slam it all back together mayb 10000 miles,,mostly pavement
I’d say newly replaced seals should last 60K miles easily. Gaskets on the other hand are shot once you break the seal again.
I mean you could get away with some quality sealant (Toyota FIPG) on some old gaskets, but paper gasket are pretty cheap so why not replace those whilst in there?!
