Great video! thanks for sharing. Here's a listening game that needs only about 5 minutes' preparation. On an A4 piece of paper, use colour markers to write down some key vocabulary - words or short phrases. Stick this paper inside a clear plastic folder. You need 1 for every 2-3 students. Give each student a board marker. Tell them you will call out vocabulary at random. As fast as they can, they cross off that word/phrase. To make it more challenging, call out words that are similar - but not on the paper. THis is to increase their listening skills. When all the words have been crossed off, you can play it again: but this time, give each student a small tissue - and ask them to erase the marked off words that you call out. This works very well if you use board markers. And now the exercise is ready to be used again! For older students, make it more challenging by doing questions-answers, or calling out the opposites of the words on the paper. (I made this up a few days ago and it was very well appreciated !!!)
How are you I.m English teacher would you send select English Exam questions that helpme inmy exam because Iam English teacher. 😢😊 9:09 @@usmanali-iq1dd

Hi Helin! I'm actually working on how to teach students who are preparing for tests like TOEFL or IELTS. I will break it up into specific parts on speaking, reading, writing and listening.
Great video. We've played scattegories and bingo and they've worked well. Bet the students would love throwing a ball at a target. Will have to give that one a try
@@etacude We tried a game on Friday - putting flashcards face down on the floor. Then the students in teams had to throw a beanbag onto one of the cards, turn it over, and read it. Whichever team could read the most won. The only problem is, the school didn't have any beanbags, so we used a small plastic toy cow
@@etacude Yes. Divided the class into two teams - the Red Team and the Blue Team and then kept score through a small number of different games. At the end of class, the scores were tied, so everyone got the prize of jelly candy
