I once did this to a friend. She was trying HARD to hang with me and my other friend’s. I encouraged her to further her education and make something of her life (I was taking medical classes at the time) but partying with my other friends (alcohol/drugs) on the weekends. She approached me one day, and told me that she had enrolled in Cosmetology school and was going to be a hairdresser, and that she looked up to ME as a role Model (I was a few years older than her). So a few weekends later I was with my friend’s again, and some of us were in a bathroom, doing a line. And there was a knock at the door ….. it was HER, asking to come in, and to do one with us! She had NEVER, done drugs before. I lost it. I told her she couldn’t hang around us anymore. But it didn’t have ANYTHING to do with her ….. it was ME!! I KNEW, that I was doing wrong, and would inevitably lead her down the wrong path. And she was a GOOD kid, with GREAT potential. Later after she graduated, I explained “why” I behaved the way I did. *It’s not only Respect what your Ex did …. it’s the truest/Purest form of love. Putting aside your desire’s & agenda, and looking out for someone else’s Best interests, with no gain for yourself.

When I was younger, I got ghosted, skipped over, cheated on, etc etc. I carried that with me for the longest time thinking I was the problem. Yrs later, so many guys popped up & actually apologized. "I didn't deserve you." "Since I got you, I thought I could do better, but after I finally grew up, I realized how badly I messed up." "I've been looking for another 'you' ever since." They weren't looking for another chance either & several admitted they didn't deserve one anyways. It was a whole lot to process & it still bugs me sometimes, but by their own admissions they weren't mature enough.

You’re correct. I once had a boyfriend who asked me, “ why don’t you ever ask me for anything”. I didn’t need anything from him! The only thing I’d probably ask him, is to partner up (business wise) and buy properties for renting, and that would’ve required thousands, which I knew he didn’t have. Sometimes you got to leave them where they are. I have dealt with a guy who felt that he wasn't good enough but had it together. He said that he wanted to do things right and wanted to get right. So we ended up separating now three years later I realized that I have done better and continue to do better without him. Sometimes they have to loose something good to learn to be a better man.

This is so true, especially elevation. A man took out a loan to hang out with me. And although he tried, he finally gave up slowly bc he knew he couldn’t elevate with me. It hurt but I could never get him to do simple things like washing his hands after the restroom. This showed me that he’s ok with being nasty and not willing to change even during Covid.

This video was right on time for me. I was blaming myself for my failed relationship. He was bringing nothing and pushed me totally away after a year or so of being in a committed relationship. He made me into the enemy and said l don't want you. He just flipped on me. I was devastated 😢 but watching this video l now understand why.
I’ve experienced every one of these reasons. The most recent was #5. I believe he was a good man but not where he wanted to be in life and recognized I was in a better place than he. He admitted he was ashamed he couldn’t take me out on a date then started to do things to push me away. Such a shame.
These are the exact reasons I walked away from my ex. Now I know if a man says “you deserve better” I will listen! I kept holding on trying to make things work but it was only exhausting me in the process. He was stuck in his comfort zone. He found a way to make me feel like I was the problem, that I was the reason why there was no real progress. After giving everything to a one sided situation I became so fed up. I even told him many times that if we aren’t evolving and growing together then we are simply holding each other back. Just as I was ready to walk away he found a way to flip it all on me and leave me with a lot of the blame and mess. He couldn’t just own up to the fact that he had a good woman and messed up but didn’t want to do the work so he’d rather find something more convenient. No, instead he just blamed me. He convinced himself whatever he needed to about me to make it easier for him to move on without any guilt.

Went to live with him with the little that he had at that time and now had achieved a lot by building a home with 2 kids and all he did was cheated with a girl in the Same neighborhood and had the nerve to say that I had nothing to do with his success and did not put any money towards the house, discussing our relationship with her and having her calling me and leaving some dirty voicemails which he said was my fault and even now he is still blaming me for ruining the relationship. I unfortunately, just got involved with a dude and not a man I am cracking up. I loved the stallion and pony analogy. I figured it out after about 5 week that it was an ill match and he was not going to be able to rise, but that was only after his behavior totally changed and not for the good. I was just so out of practice dating. This video helps. I think he wanted to start something but then all of what you said happened. He realized, and I agree, I am ready for a Thoroughbred . I have learned, and being in a marriage almost 26 years, that men are extremely emotional, and all over the place. Yes, I did say, I was in a marriage for that long, but one day my husband got up and left me and didn't tell me why, and he remarried a year later. I have found, that men are a million times more complicated than women. If you can find a man that has a great balance in life, you have found everything. There is no perfect man and there is no perfect marriage and if we keep listening to all these relationship gurus, you're never going to be in a relationship, because you just have to run into a person that you like, and you feel like they could be your best friend, and marry them, and that's what I did. If my husband didn't leave, we would be together and married almost 30 years. There is no perfect recipe for a friendship or a marriage, you just have to trust that you're going to keep going through thick and thin. This was my situation! He had me fooled for a minute because he was very intelligent, and he poured into me mentally. But, after 4 months he still wouldn't invite me to his home. I told him this had gone on long enough. He asked me to give him 30 days to get his self together as it pertained to his living situation. At 64, I'm not playing 30 day time out with no grown man. I did a background check on him. He's renting from an ex. He should have told me that and let me decide what I wanted to do, don't decide for me. He didn't contact me after the 30 days. Today is his birthday, Valentine's day. I am not going to reach out. He ghosted me, because he realized I wasn't in agreement with his highschool attitude. I once did this to a friend. She was trying HARD to hang with me and my other friend’s. I encouraged her to further her education and make something of her life (I was taking medical classes at the time) but partying with my other friends (alcohol/drugs) on the weekends. She approached me one day, and told me that she had enrolled in Cosmetology school and was going to be a hairdresser, and that she looked up to ME as a role Model (I was a few years older than her). So a few weekends later I was with my friend’s again, and some of us were in a bathroom, doing a line. And there was a knock at the door ….. it was HER, asking to come in, and to do one with us! She had NEVER, done drugs before. I lost it. I told her she couldn’t hang around us anymore. But it didn’t have ANYTHING to do with her ….. it was ME!! I KNEW, that I was doing wrong, and would inevitably lead her down the wrong path. And she was a GOOD kid, with GREAT potential. Later after she graduated, I explained “why” I behaved the way I did.

This video was right on time for me. I was blaming myself for my failed relationship. He was bringing nothing and pushed me totally away after a year or so of being in a committed relationship. He made me into the enemy and said l don't want you. He just flipped on me. I was devastated 😢 but watching this video l now understand why.
I’ve experienced every one of these reasons. The most recent was #5. I believe he was a good man but not where he wanted to be in life and recognized I was in a better place than he. He admitted he was ashamed he couldn’t take me out on a date then started to do things to push me away. Such a shame.

These are the exact reasons I walked away from my ex. Now I know if a man says “you deserve better” I will listen! I kept holding on trying to make things work but it was only exhausting me in the process. He was stuck in his comfort zone. He found a way to make me feel like I was the problem, that I was the reason why there was no real progress. After giving everything to a one sided situation I became so fed up. I even told him many times that if we aren’t evolving and growing together then we are simply holding each other back. Just as I was ready to walk away he found a way to flip it all on me and leave me with a lot of the blame and mess. He couldn’t just own up to the fact that he had a good woman and messed up but didn’t want to do the work so he’d rather find something more convenient. No, instead he just blamed me. He convinced himself whatever he needed to about me to make it easier for him to move on without any guilt.
I had a man say " you're too good, you deserve better " over and over. I finally said "yes, I do deserve better ", I stopped talking to him.

Went to live with him with the little that he had at that time and now had achieved a lot by building a home with 2 kids and all he did was cheated with a girl in the Same neighborhood and had the nerve to say that I had nothing to do with his success and did not put any money towards the house, discussing our relationship with her and having her calling me and leaving some dirty voicemails which he said was my fault and even now he is still blaming me for ruining the relationship. I unfortunately, just got involved with a dude and not a man I am cracking up. I loved the stallion and pony analogy. I figured it out after about 5 week that it was an ill match and he was not going to be able to rise, but that was only after his behavior totally changed and not for the good. I was just so out of practice dating. This video helps. I think he wanted to start something but then all of what you said happened. He realized, and I agree, I am ready for a Thoroughbred . He is more like a farm horse who has been hurt.. needs help. I hope he gets it. I am truly better off without this person.

He admitted his feelings toward me were stronger than my own, and mine are pretty strong. But that he needed to reestablish his relationship w god. Whether that’s true or not is moot. He agreed to not reach out to me again until he’s ready to give it a “true honest chance”, his words. I hope he becomes the man he wishes to be, but I’m not holding my breath.

I’ve had 2 push me away; with one that I truly liked. The latter one’s mom told me, “if I truly loved him, love him from a distance and pray for him”. I have learned, and being in a marriage almost 26 years, that men are extremely emotional, and all over the place. Yes, I did say, I was in a marriage for that long, but one day my husband got up and left me and didn't tell me why, and he remarried a year later. I have found, that men are a million times more complicated than women. If you can find a man that has a great balance in life, you have found everything. There is no perfect man and there is no perfect marriage and if we keep listening to all these relationship gurus, you're never going to be in a relationship, because you just have to run into a person that you like, and you feel like they could be your best friend, and marry them, and that's what I did. If my husband didn't leave, we would be together and married almost 30 years. There is no perfect recipe for a friendship or a marriage, you just have to trust that you're going to keep going through thick and thin. I can agree! I dated this guy for 3 months and he just went ghost with no reason. Hurt me because I felt I did something knowing I didn’t. After hearing this video I think I was just way too much for him and it made him look weak or he felt that he couldn’t give me what he felt I deserved from a man. This was my situation! He had me fooled for a minute because he was very intelligent, and he poured into me mentally. But, after 4 months he still wouldn't invite me to his home. I told him this had gone on long enough. He asked me to give him 30 days to get his self together as it pertained to his living situation. At 64, I'm not playing 30 day time out with no grown man. I did a background check on him. He's renting from an ex. He should have told me that and let me decide what I wanted to do, don't decide for me. He didn't contact me after the 30 days. Today is his birthday, Valentine's day. I am not going to reach out. He ghosted me, because he realized I wasn't in agreement with his highschool attitude. He's 66, who does time out in relationships. This isn't high school.🙄
