Ooh this was fun! ❤I'd love processing a pallet.. It's a kinda fun to know there's work for multiple days, and it's nice to have choice! Looking forward to the 90 day update!
Love it, I learned a lot! I would like to get some tips to measure jeans, tops and bottoms. And I can't wait to see the video to try to clean makeup or marker stains. Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much for putting the time and effort into this video. I love seeing other resellers' processes to help improve my process. Plus I have been eyeing this pallet forever but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I do well with the smaller denim and dresses boxes so I may go in and buy one after seeing your video.
Wow! What a great video showing your process, Rachel! Thank you for sharing it with us! I love these pallets too! I have ordered one and will order another at some point. I love dresses and will be on the lookout for those.
Thank you so much for watching! I feel a little burnt out after this one Im not gonna lie! But give me a month or so and I will probably be itching for another ( if I can even get my hand on one!)
I got one today and I’m so anxious to see your 90 day update! I got a j crew/madewell. 304 pieces 72% madewell. I’m so scared. This is a massive investment for me!
Yay! I have done so consistently well with this and I hope you do too! I am about a month away from the update on this one and I am contemplating buying another one.
Thanks for sharing the whole process, Rachel! It was enjoyable to watch! I personally love the longer videos like this for when I am working on my reselling business. ✌️
❤ Very informative! This was a great video. I ordered one of the smaller boxes a few weeks ago to test out. I ordered amodex too to test out. Normally I use an oxi stick or tide spray.
Thanks for the great video! I think you know I also bought one of these pallets and they are tedious to work through but so far it is worth it! J.Crew has always sold well for me. Look forward to your sales updates on this! Just a quick tip for makeup or deodorant stains, I was able to get these off with baby wipes. Some I had to wash too and just listed as preloved.
Great video! I am also processing one of these pallets. Had the same experience with a few items losing color due to the tape. Thanks for all the insight into your process!
I sold one of those sweatshirts with the tape fading for $20. It can in a box where 1/4 of the box had that issue. The tape damage was way worse than the issue it was marking.
❤ this is such an informative video. Honestly I m trying to eventually make the transition from my full time gig to full time reselling but just don’t know where to start. This def gives a good idea on a typical process. Thanks!
Thank you for making this video! The flow was perfect and gave a great real life look at a large bulk buy. How does your back survive all those flat lays on the floor?
@@Ohyeahrachie It's your youth! I could not do that! For tops/dresses we use a mannequin and for pants/kids/shorts we hang those up and pray for a stock photo!
This video was fascinating to me!! I’ve only been reselling since April this year so I’m still thrifting. I have a fantastic GW actually that I get majority of my inventory from. Question- do you list a certain number of items per day?
Thank you for watching! I do not hold myself to a certain number of listings per day. I try to list a few on each platform each day from my draft bank on ListPerfectly, but that’s more because I don’t like to have unlisted inventory lol I know a lot of people say you HAVE to list every single day for the “algorithm” and I personally do not find that to be necessarily true. As long as you list once in awhile consistently it seems to help. I don’t start to notice a dip until it’s been 4-5+ days on any of my platforms.
thank you so much for sharing the way you do thngs you are well orgonize..i do posh for 11 month now..when i take picture nos i alwayss take mesurment picture ...cause they ask these queston al he time..that save me time
Thank you so much!!! This was such a great video. I’m curious about your photos. Have you always done them like that or have you simplified over time??? I take a whole lot more, including photos of the measuring stick on the item to show the measurements. My rationale that I’m a new seller without a lot of feedback and I want the potential customer to feel comfortable. I work full time in addition to reselling.. I’m all about working smarter not harder and would love your feedback. Thanks!!!
My process has for sure evolved over time. I used to do everything flat lay and I had props and all kinds of crap I would set up around the photo which was a HUGE waste of time and made the photo look cluttered. I have found that with most things, the standard photos I take (five for flat lay, three for hanger) plus any additional necessary details do the trick. I rarely get requests for more photos. I personally would suggest skipping the tape measure photos and just put the measurements in the description. When I am shopping, if I have to click on a photo to zoom in and see the measurements I find it to be too much and I scroll past or find another seller with the same thing where I can just read the measurements. I am sure taking those photos takes a lot of extra time too, so it might be worth skipping those. I hope this helps!
@@Ohyeahrachie thank you so much!!!!! I’m definitely making the change going forward. I need to get more things listed faster and more efficient. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great info nvr thought about splitting up flat lays vs hangers. How many pictures do you typically do for each flat lay?? Do you use your phone or camera? Thanks for the vids!!!
For a flat lay, I do at least front and back of the entire thing, front and back close up of the waistband/pockets for pants, and one of the inside brand tag. So at least five typically, and additional if needed to show details. I just use my phone for everything. I use my phone to film videos too so I had to borrow my husbands phone to film those parts since my phone couldn’t be in two places at once 🤣🤣
this one is a Neewer light on a tripod. My husband bought it probably 8 years ago now for work, he did a lot of corporate filming/training videos. It got repurposed to my office during the pandemic when everything went virtual. It works great for my photos though because its adjustable height and super easy to store.
no, they sell these as raw/unsorted customer returns. So that is the gamble of it all is that you know what you are getting there is just no guarantee what condition it is in.
I’ve been waiting for this video forever and it was so worth it! You are super fast!! Congrats!
Yay! Thank you! Im so glad to finally have it published!
Ooh this was fun! ❤I'd love processing a pallet.. It's a kinda fun to know there's work for multiple days, and it's nice to have choice! Looking forward to the 90 day update!
I do love that part. There are days when one specific thing HAS to get done, other days I totally can decide what I feel like doing!
❤ watched it all ! Loved it!
Thank you!

Oooh that’s a great video idea, thank you! My goal is to do the cleanup video this month too!
❤ I was amazed at how quickly you measure! I watched the 90 day video and then had to come back to see it all. Well done!
Thank you so much!

I just ordered one today ! I love all your videos . Looking forward to your 90 day update
Oh yay!!! I just filmed the 90 day update yesterday, will be out next week! 😃
Thank you that was a great video I appreciate you sharing I learned a ton.

I’ve been thinking about buying a pallet. Such great insight! ❤
Thank you for watching!
Great video!! I have learned so much from this and your interview with Death Pile Diva. Thank you! ❤
Thank you so much for watching!
Loving your listing and storage process
Thank you!
I bought one today! You inspired me! I hope mine is as good as yours.....with not too many flaws! Your VA really helps speed up your process.
Oh my gosh yay you got one! They sold out so fast yesterday - but the ones they listed looked really good!
❤thank you for informative and thorough content as always!!

Loved this! Thanks for taking the time. I know it was a lot. Looking forward to the update~
Thanks for watching! I am so excited to see what this one does in 90 days!
Congratulations great job. 🎉
Thank you!
So glad you posted this. I almost purchased one of their pallets this morning but it sold so fast I didn’t have time to even look at the manifest. 😢
Oh no! They are gaining popularity now for sure. I wonder if I will ever be able to snag another one lol

Oh good to know. I might just try to sell it and get my cost back on that one. I really dont NEED another "around the house" sweatshirt lol

I am so glad you liked it! As far as the flat lays lol I don't know - it doesn't bother me too much as long as I only do 30-40 at a time!

Where did you hire your VA? Need to do that! What a timesaver!
My VA actually is a reseller doing some VA work on the side, I found her on instagram.
Great video. Where did you get your photography light?
This one is the brand Neewer and I think it came from Amazon but like, 6 or 7 years ago by now.

Hi I’m a new subscriber to your Chanel it is very interesting and super informative.
Thanks and welcome - I am so glad you found me!
Curious what your thoughts are after 60 days. I'm having a hard time waiting the full 3 months :)
I have sold about 1/2 of the items and I have made my money back and then some. Everything now is pure profit!
Thank you for replying! I love your channel and have learned so much from you :)

Just wash and sell as preowned
Can you request refund for damaged items? It is pretty pricey to throw it away

I was going to ask about back issues. I don’t flat lay anything due to that.
It really doesn’t bother me too bad as long as I limit the flat lay sessions to about 45 min or less. It’s a good hamstring workout! 🤣
