I like how you get straight into the details of the engine in the beginning of your videos. Also you get straight to the point in your videos without adding all the other junk in the beginning like other auto reviews. Great videos.
Have a 22 Calligraphy, it’s nicer than the X3 have. Doesn’t have the driving dynamic that BMW has. But it’s better in most other regards. Amazing what get for the $.
If you live in an area where it snows or plan to upgrade to the turbo engine, then Yes get the AWD system. If you live in a place that doesn't snow then don't waste your money. If you plan on getting the base engine in a place that doesn't snow then don't waste your money. However, if you plan on upgrading to the turbo engine, then get the AWD system no matter the condition. Why? The turbo is too much power for the FWD model. You will spin tires like crazy without AWD in the turbo. But the base engine is perfect for no AWD and basic weather conditions. I get a few months of snow averaging 6 inches every year. So...we are forced into AWD systems. Don't buy something if you can't use it is my motto.
@@needsleepmommy I'll give a tip. Never buy the first generation of a new vehicle. Or at least if you do, wait until near end of the year. Check to see if people had any problems with the new design. Generally, that happens to all first iterations of any manufacturer. That new version becomes the prototype and then they will alter any fixes over the next few years of that generation of vehicle.
Drive the car today as I was thinking about downgrading from my luxury SUV. Pretty good car, but the cabin is to compact for me, the middle console is to wide. Also, the car doesn’t have any pep, even its sports mode is lackluster. As of now, I decided to pass. But, it’s still a great built car, just didn’t meet my needs.
Purchased a 2022 SEL with premium package. It is a great vehicle. The only complaint that I have is that my right-side rear seat shakes and vibrates a lot when driving at normal speeds/road conditions. Has anyone else had this issue?
@Bobby L No kidding! Now it's both seats that shake and vibrate a lot when driving (normal driving conditions). My dealer said it was normal but I am taking my car in again and escalating the issue because I fear it is getting worse.
I am currently attempting to negotiate on this year/model (dealer balked at my price). It comes with really low miles, and that's the biggest appeal. The '23 is unfortunately way out of budget, which is unfortunate because it has a feature that I absolutely love. There is a camera that lets you see your blindspot in the dashboard when you turn on your indicator. In any event, the '22 in and of itself is a pretty good vehicle. Anyway, I'm going to submit submit another price, and if they turn it down, I will move on.
Of you hit neutral while driving you will just roll and if you press the gas while in neutral you will just rev the engine and make noise and won't go flying. If you drop it in park while going 50+ you will break your transmission and might crash
@@jovanhardy1591 The entire shift by wire is controlled by a computer if you are driving and hit the P or R nothing will happen, chances are if you hit N nothing will happen over a certain speed. Again, all shifts are controlled by a transmission module; it's not like back in the 60s where there was a physical cable directly to the trans. When the module gets a command by a push of the button, it will send a control to solenoids on the valve body to shift into what gear was selected, or, in it will do nothing since it could wreck the trans.

Very nice looking car. Sporty, comfortable and spacious. Like the light bars and sun shades.
Love the grille. Looks amazing
2022 Santa fe is beautiful SUV if you got kids you can take a long trip
The little holes in the front with nothing in them are for puddle lights if you get the convenience package.
Major misinformation my friend, you should have specified that this SEL is the SEL plus which come with the convenience and premium package.
Great video Ben….live in Vegas…we just bought one.
So is the AWD worth the extra money?

Same problem with my 2023 hybrid limited.

Is this the premium package?
I was thinking the same thing. I'm pretty sure it is because of the leather seats. I wish he would have mentioned that.
Hope you get to drive this model im very interested in driving ability starting my car shopping now , this ben
What happens if you accidentally hit N or P while driving? Is there a safety mechanism so you don't accidentally go flying off the road?

@Jovan Hardy lol. You need to put down the Blackberry and get out more.
Does the light bar light up at the back for the SEL trim?
Believe it is just a reflector.
Why is it so noisy when on freeway?

Does this come with remote start?
If it has Hyundai Sync, then yes.
