Why Americans hate Russia and demonize President Putin. What life is really like in Russia. Why I came to Russia in 2016.
Regis Tremblay is an American documentary filmmaker living in Yalta, Crimea of the Russian Federation since March of 2020. Tremblay went to Russia in 2016 to find out for myself what Russia and Russians were really like. He returned in 2018 - 2019 to discover and learn more. Since 2021, he has been the producer of the Media Campaign for The Friends of Crimea-Friends of Russia international association. “My purpose has been to counter the US narrative about all things Russian and President Putin.”

Well sir, thank you for your heart felt communication. In my case, you sing to the choir, not one who doubts your assessments. It is very good to hear your testimony.
It didn't take much research, back in 2022, to recognize that Russia was in the right regarding the Ukrainian conflict. More research led to a realization that, as you say, "Russia is not the enemy." And then to a more appalling realization that the enemies of people everywhere are ensconced in DC and the EU, where criminal power-lusting warmongers set neo-Nazi attack dogs on the Donbass and economic warfare/information warfare against their own citizens.
Only God's will, followed, can pull our cookies out of the fire now, and by speaking truth, you do God's will.

2) мне кажется, что ненавидеть стали гораздо раньше образования СССР. Почти всю историю, что документировать, дошла до нас и хотя бы немного осела в голове обывателя (в моей), по моим субъективным ощущениям, Россию считали отсталой, варварской страной. Это мои ощущения, мб ошибаюсь, не изучала этот вопрос, хотя наверняка есть какие-то работы на этот счёт
I agree with you on your observations. And yes the Russians are highly cultured and educated. They have a great future ahead of them. They value the things we used to value like family, faith, nationhood. Good podcast. 😊

Sachs was arguing against all the neo-cons during the transition. They wouldn't listen to him. Read what he wrote about this time period. He is NOT 'controlled opposition'. He expresses way too much 'opposition' for that to be true, IMO.
Very disappointed to hear this smearing of Professor Jeffrey D Sachs! I have watched hours of presentations by Sachs and have read some of his books which are detailed accounts of history with references. This fellow needs to educate himself and owes an apology for demeaning one of the most scholarly and truthful Americans who have ever lived.
I agree, it's the only thing I took issue with, everything else he said was perfectly accurate to the best of my knowledge but I find it impossible to believe that Jeffrey Sachs today is "controlled opposition". He (Sachs) pretty much gives the exact same account as Mr Tremblay, and I haven't heard him espouse any opinions that could justfy him being considered "controlled opposition". If anyone else has, I'd be happy to hear their argument but I just don't see it.

only few Russia phobic governments came together to make Russia as a enemy.
99.9 % of regular people in this World do not see Russia as a enemy but they fear more of those who hate and want to fight Russia.

What do you expect? Over 50% of the U.S. Congress are Jewish and other political leaders are pro-Israel. The U.S. and Israel's umbilical cords are permanently attached.

I went down the rabbit whole in 2010 after learning the truth about the Korean War, then to present. I'm a Korean American and a Bostonian. Looks like the Pats dynasty is over.

Hate is a strong word of many I felt directed at me as an employee of Brigham women's hospital. After moving to a hospital that seemed to echo an even more extreme sentiment I feel even as a healthcare professional their seems to be a regress socially in Christianity and it's impossible to pretend not feeling like I was followed from work to my graduate school
I can't speak for anyone else but I agree with you Russia is blameless in their current conflict with Ukraine the us govt is the most to blame they can't leave anyone alone and are completely incapable of minding their own business
