I loved how the game forced characters to say "thank you" when you gave them your pebble of a shield, because nobody would ever go out of their way to thank her for it.

There's sooo many good flank routes to get waay behind the defenders and surprise them with turrets as they round a corner and then suddenly a random Indian woman jumps at them with her 120 DPS gun. And all of a sudden your team has teleported to your location to support you as you wipe the enemy team three times and realize that the payload is back by the first checkpoint, at which point you get hooked by a Roadhog, your team dies to a Reaper ult, and you have to slowly respawn and push the payload through the first checkpoint where a Bastion has now comfortably setup and a Widowmaker keeps one-shotting your supports as you try desperately to keep the Overtime bar running. Actually, I think that’s a harsh critique for this game I’ve never played. Nobody’s going to click with every character and as much as the game encourages cohesion, people aren’t cohesive, especially in groups of more than 2
I picked Symmetra in a ranked match the other day. Before the game even started the dude playing Roadhog was already telling me I was garbage and dead weight. The whole match anytime we died or the enemy made progress it was apparently entirely my fault. We lost but I got play of the game and I got 54 eliminations compared to his 20. Yes, he played a full game as roadhog and only got 20 eliminations compared to my 54. And he still blamed me. Smh I can only carry people so far. I have my limits.

Veinaru71 Even without molten core I usually get more kills than my turret when playing Torb (I only really use molten if me or my turret is about to die and they are pushing) The damage is crazy and, once you are used to leading the shots, hitting headshots is suuuper easy with the slow projectiles. It basically feels like playing hanzo, except the bullets are giant glowing hot metal bolts that make it very easy to correct your own aim.

Symmetra has more of an annoying defense then Torjborn because her turrets slow and she can have 6. Torjborn has more of a damaging turret but easily seen. However fuck both of them, and if you want a defense turret hero play bastion...there done. If you want zone control symm, torjb, and bastion are best. If you want CANCER INCARNATE DEVIL BITCH play mei. Off topic there sorry lol. So I will give you that Torjborn likely does more damage then Symm however Symm is a constant damage. That's all I'll say here

Pretty Good video! Comedic writing, and I like the mix of animated bits vs gameplay. There's a couple points I think could be changed slightly: I'd suggest avoiding having too many of those jokes in text that are only up for a few milliseconds, and I'd suggest a little bit more of the silly drawings (not necessarily animated, even just the silly drawings are plenty comedic), though I do recognize that those are often very time-consuming. Overall, an excellent video, and I would look forward to seeing more of these, either more of overwatch, or branching into other games!

Its so stupid how people vote sometimes, you see someone with 30% of damage vs 40% of eliminations or vice versa, people just vote for the first one they see reading it left to right that they like half the time so even if you carry a team if there is someone like a bad lucio all the way to the left they'll get voted for instead of you.
I recently got 71% of the kills on a loss as hanzo on nepal (around 30+ elims, 10k+ dmg and a shit tonne of headshots) and I even got potg and for all that I only got like 3-4 upvotes from the entire match.
I loved the cute little animations! Reminded me of Sequillites combining animations with ranting which is AWESOME! I feel the Overwatch community has warmed up a lot to Symmetra now but it definitely took a while. She's my personal favorite character the lack of aiming is awesome and setting up turrets is easy while making me feel good.
YES YES YES!!! Symmetra is not a healer so don't insult her about her heals. Though I wished Symmetra's teleporter comes with the ally death notifications - kind of like Mercy's to alert the best time to resurrect. That way, I can timed my tele for the best moment to put down and spawn as much all as I can before it gets destroyed

Watching this with all the different things going on with overwatch, I can't lie its actually gotten alot better. Well at least in my opinion. Symmetra feels good. Her ult is pretty darn good now (a large shield spanning across the entire map) 3 good damaging sentries (I learned the microwave oven strategy from you and it still works!) On top of that the teleporter is dare I say viable! Her little rope is a beam that increases its damage overtime its honestly really fun to play as her! Heck I find it fun Playing angest a sym to! Overwatch's switch community is really nice! Yeah there's a few jerks but its gotten so much better! I'm probs gonna rewatch all the sides of salt again.

I always laugh when I hear someone refer to a character in this as a "carry." This is not a MOBA. This is an FPS with class roles. You're not playing DOTA or LoL or Smite. You're playing Overwatch, bitch. Those aren't "wards", they are sentries. You can "carry" a team, but that usually leads to failure, because that's not a class role and carrying a team usually means you're cheating, or horribly mismatched. But Carry is not a role.
To carry in overwatch means outclassing your foes so that if you were replaced by any average player, that team would of lost, and only a few characters can achieve it, mostly tanks. DPS characters cannot carry games to victory because kills alone don't win games, and they are all too squishy to manage holding a point on their own.
It always bugged me that Samus' neutral B move in Smash was blue, whereas in all the Metroid games it was orange or yellow. The closest it got to blue was a slight blue tint around the edges of a yellow sphere in Prime 3.
I finally played this game today since the Free Overwatch weekend thing, and I must agree with several points you made: 1. Bad/dumb players, where I was honestly surprised to find so many people who seemed as if they left their brain in the fridge to rot. 2. I've had my eye on Symmetra every time someone asked me "What if you played Overwatch? Who would play?" because teleporting. I think it'd be cool if they added a tiny insta-heal with the shield OR you can use your Primary Fire to regen ally shields! Maybe even add more initial shielding instead just 10. Perhaps 30? 3. When I made a teleporter; yes, it either stayed up all match and everyone return to the fight momentarily, or the unfortunate latter. All in all, great vid!
I think the teammates I played with were probably dumber and worse than yours. Dumb enough to die, ignore my teleporter right in front of them when they respawned and to take the longest way to the point and bad enough for me to get like three Plays of the Game with one of the weakest characters of Overwatch.

When you spectate (killcam, death watching, spectator client, etc...), you also get a different, overlaying UI.

sometimes teleporter doesn't spawn in front of you, it could spawn to the right or left so it's harder to see

You kidding? It's super easy to get one shot headshots from extreme range with torb because it has no damage falloff (as far as I can tell).

I think Zenyatta is the Debuff Support. Symmetra is Utility, Mercy is healing and buff, and Lucio is movement

The worst thing...playing Reaper, using the teleport ability to "sneak" behind the enemy, landing right into a room filled with 6 Symmetra turrets lol
I loved the cute little animations! Reminded me of Sequillites combining animations with ranting which is AWESOME! I feel the Overwatch community has warmed up a lot to Symmetra now but it definitely took a while. She's my personal favorite character the lack of aiming is awesome and setting up turrets is easy while making me feel good.

Though I wished Symmetra's teleporter comes with the ally death notifications - kind of like Mercy's to alert the best time to resurrect. That way, I can timed my tele for the best moment to put down and spawn as much all as I can before it gets destroyed

One thing i hate about playing Mercy is when people ignore that i need protection and that one scumbag on the enemy team attaches himself as a leach to my ass and wants to make my life a living hell by constantly targeting and killing me. And my team doesn't give a fuck, i make consntant trips back and forth the spawning room, rushing to heal and die over and over again.

I have gotten play of the game with symmetra a few times which was awesome!
I've got a play of the game as her once.
I was bascially carrying the team while they weren't even on the point and everyone was attacking me. I put Turrets on the payload and I got play of the game.
every time i get potg as symmetra or see someone get it, everyone is like, "ooh THAT was play of the game? that SUCKED" :c
One of the pkay of the games I got with her is where I killed a genji with turrets then tea bagged his body, and I found it funny how I got play of the game! Lol
Nothing better than getting POTG by flanking WITH NO FLANKING POWERS, downing an enemy Widow, Mercy, AND Reinhardt, and your team saying you got it because the enemy players sucked. No, they were eating the rest of the team for breakfast. I actually used map knowledge and strategy to break their entire push by myself. And your welcome for keeping a teleporter up all the time because they were constantly dying.

Watching this with all the different things going on with overwatch, I can't lie its actually gotten alot better. Well at least in my opinion. Symmetra feels good. Her ult is pretty darn good now (a large shield spanning across the entire map) 3 good damaging sentries (I learned the microwave oven strategy from you and it still works!) On top of that the teleporter is dare I say viable! Her little rope is a beam that increases its damage overtime its honestly really fun to play as her! Heck I find it fun Playing angest a sym to! Overwatch's switch community is really nice! Yeah there's a few jerks but its gotten so much better! I'm probs gonna rewatch all the sides of salt again.

I always laugh when I hear someone refer to a character in this as a "carry." This is not a MOBA. This is an FPS with class roles. You're not playing DOTA or LoL or Smite. You're playing Overwatch, bitch. Those aren't "wards", they are sentries. You can "carry" a team, but that usually leads to failure, because that's not a class role and carrying a team usually means you're cheating, or horribly mismatched. But Carry is not a role.
To carry in overwatch means outclassing your foes so that if you were replaced by any average player, that team would of lost, and only a few characters can achieve it, mostly tanks. DPS characters cannot carry games to victory because kills alone don't win games, and they are all too squishy to manage holding a point on their own.

It always bugged me that Samus' neutral B move in Smash was blue, whereas in all the Metroid games it was orange or yellow.
The closest it got to blue was a slight blue tint around the edges of a yellow sphere in Prime 3.

Okay, I fell out of my chair laughing. But then sat back down and kept on playing Symetra.....
As a Symmetra main, this speaks to me on so many levels.
I finally played this game today since the Free Overwatch weekend thing, and I must agree with several points you made:
1. Bad/dumb players, where I was honestly surprised to find so many people who seemed as if they left their brain in the fridge to rot.
2. I've had my eye on Symmetra every time someone asked me "What if you played Overwatch? Who would play?" because teleporting. I think it'd be cool if they added a tiny insta-heal with the shield OR you can use your Primary Fire to regen ally shields! Maybe even add more initial shielding instead just 10. Perhaps 30?
3. When I made a teleporter; yes, it either stayed up all match and everyone return to the fight momentarily, or the unfortunate latter.
All in all, great vid!
I think the teammates I played with were probably dumber and worse than yours. Dumb enough to die, ignore my teleporter right in front of them when they respawned and to take the longest way to the point and bad enough for me to get like three Plays of the Game with one of the weakest characters of Overwatch.
