    It's worth mentioning the conveniences of the surrounding neighbourhood. You have immediate access to the 1, 2, and 3 trains, which are steps from the building. There's Whole Foods right around the corner and for entertainment, you can visit Symphony Space at 95th St. As you mentioned, Central Park is one of the best amenities of living on the Upper West Side.

    If I were a billionaire this is the last penthouse I’d buy. Yes the views are spectacular but for $18M I expect every bedroom to have LARGE closets and private ensuite bathrooms. The first bedroom’s closet was a joke, as was the master’s “walk in closet”. The whole place feels cramped to me. I don’t think the terrace makes up for the small bedrooms.

      I agree. Great views but the rest of it is very underwhelming. I can't imagine anyone being willing to pay that ridiculous amount of money.

    The prices are so wrong. 18 million for the view is even too much. The construction is not very lux either.

    The location is amazing, and the views are wonderful from the penthouse. The finishes in both are gorgeous, but I'm perplexed by the penthouse elevator opening to the bedrooms instead of the main level. The style of the windows is gorgeous, and I'm a sucker for a pot filler! 😊

    This penthouse is not worth 18 million dollars. All of the bedrooms are way too small, the closet for the master appears to be an after thought. The master is narrow ; no room at the foot of the bed. The layout of this apartment is just plain weird and not user friendly. Why would the grill be on the side of the terrace that is farthest from the kitchen. When in the kitchen you cannot see the rest of the living space; so much for open plan.

    Hayley, I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. Though it's too fancy for my preference, they are lovely to look at. I, too, really love the water faucet at the stove for pots! And nothing beats those views.

    Thank you for show both condos. Yes, you are roght about the first one bedroom condo would need a "L" sofa to create the space needed. And the second condo is a beautiful duplex one. I love the primary ensuite bathroom and that tub is very nice.😊

    Very informative, but I suggest you get some lessons on how to properly steady the camera while moving so viewers don't get motion sickness! Maybe you can purchase a gimbal for your camera? You mentioned that videos are new for you, so I hope my suggestion is helpful for success in your new endeavor. Good luck!

    Oh wow, I seriously need to win the lottery! The views from the penthouse were amazing! I was not a fan of the elevator going to the second floor....If I was rich and could really consider this apartment, the elevator situation might have been a deal breaker for me. I also really liked the 1 bedroom but it was seriously forgotten about once you went to the penthouse....lol. Thanks for another great video!

      I agree! (In my imagination) I was sold by the views and planning to knock out a bedroom wall to create more closet space, only to have 'the elevator situation' shut down my entire fantasy.

    A lot of low furniture that you seen in apartments with large windows with good views ihelps to visually keep the space and light of sight unbroken. I hear you on low beds however. Nice penthouse.

    It’s nice, but I think I’d want an older building. Why don’t apartments have big grand foyers anymore? I think it’s weird that the staircase is in the living room. I feels more like a luxury hotel suite to me. I’d take it though!

  • @nancyb2003

    Awesome video! The one bedroom apartment had lovely features and excellent views. The penthouse was truly spectacular! The views were stunning from all windows and directions. I'd live on that wrap around terrace w/ grill & fridge! -I just can't get past the idea of greeting guests from (essentially) my bedroom. Is there ANY alternative?

    • @hayley_bailiff
      @hayley_bailiff  8 днів тому

      Don't worry, the main entrance is off of the living room! That's where all of your guests would enter. And please invite me over when you have a bbq to break in the new terrace!

  • @dominik1328

    Great video, however these units are INSANELY overpriced... 1.7M for one bedroom on the west side? Theres over 20 units available on the so called "Billionaires row" which are also 1 bed room are are way cheaper than this. I understand that its a totally new development but it doesn't justify the price for me. This is the main reason why people turn their backs on New York, because of inflated prices like these, when in reality you can find many great apartments with a reasonable price.

    • @hayley_bailiff
      @hayley_bailiff  Місяць тому +1

      I know some clients who will pay a premium to be the first person to own an apartment. They won't even consider a resale unit. Everyone gets to determine what's worth it for their budget and preferences. To some it's overpriced, but closings only started last week and over 70% of the units are already either sold or in contract.

    • @dominik1328
      @dominik1328 Місяць тому

      @@hayley_bailiff I see, do you know why they would want to be the first to own an apartment if they are wasting a lot of money? You can find several one or even two bed rooms on the "billionaires row" and on the upper east side with the price of this 1 bedroom you showed, not only that but you are literally dead center with the park views. My mind just doesn't understand why anyone in their right mind would spend 1.7M when theres FAR better options available , its a pity really. But each to their own I guess.

      @@dominik1328 I know someone who will only live in a 'brand new' home. It's (basically) a hygiene issue for him. He's a self-proclaimed germaphobe who lives with several phobias. These issues make travel very difficult for him.
