    I was hoping to see entire structure at the end and was waiting that you break that cement staff!!!
    Anyway...it’s so cool.

      It is called Thermo-Loc, and it is available from most jewelry supply companies. It is a great alternative to jeweler’s shellac for some stuff.

    How do you stick sandpaper to your file, do you chop up like sticky back disk sandpaper and throw it on there???

    • @thediamondsetter6158
      @thediamondsetter6158  Рік тому

      Its a 3M sandpaper with adhesive on it, you can put in on like a sticker. I think thei are called „sanding stripes“. Put on a cleaned needle file and cut it with a very sharp knife or better Skalpelle!

    What type of wax are you using to set the stone

    • @thediamondsetter6158
      @thediamondsetter6158  Рік тому

      I don't like using wax to transfer the stone, but if i have to use it - this is the way to go:
      Melt bees wax and add charcoal powder.
      If ou can't buy it simple use a coarse emery paper to sand down the charcoal.
      4to1 - 80gr wax+20 gr powder = you can also add more - The more powder, the less it sticks to the stone!
