Like this video if you want Mick Gordon to sample a toaster popping🤔
Other composers: "Let's add a little guitar here and some other well-known sounds here"
Mick Gordon: *takes sip of monster* "Hell yeah, let's synthesize a lawnmower."
rips line of coke*
I think in the end or something of Cultist Base, Mick used another power tool
@@eziroth6380 chainsaw
@@eziroth6380 he also just used a fucking chainsaw in Cyberdemon from DOOM 2016
Other posters: makes humorous comment
You: *takes a sip of lemonade* Hell yeah, lets copy their comments
im so depressed an ost as great as this isnt on spotify
the whole album is on soundcloud
the best version is there
If you have spotify premium you can upload the OST as local files and sync it to all your devices. It takes a bit but it is well worth it.
Just because the OST have issues like mick only mixed 12 out of 59 tracks.
@@MitchellClark wait how.......
In case you already didn't know, the chant screaming "KAR EN TUK!!!" translates to "RIP AND TEAR!!!" from the Sentinel language. You can even hear it slowly translate to English towards the end.
I thought it was „Karen took“ the kids 😂 thank you for explaining.
The transition is a nice touch. Never picked up on it
Woah I always thought they were saying “Long Live Doom”
sometimes i hear “the meat hook” lol
@@ElAyDubleZee nowhere close to Kar en Tuk lmao
People really turned this dude into a metalhead
He found da wae
I headbanged so hard that I broke the layer of our dimension and got a glance at the other side where Mick Gordon was already staring me. He is a god.
Mick can see us all from his pocket dimension studio. 🤣
6:41 When the chorus are so heavy they make you facepalm with your headphones, I'm dead
No seriously I Bob my head so hard I have to hold my headphones in place
2:02 I call that the "Geetar Expression". I get it involuntarily every time I listen to Mick Gordon's riffs.
That small part at 2:26 always give me goosebumps bro
3:16 the meth is kicking in
06:55This man loved the song so much, he took a moment to wipe his eye ON BEAT.
My favorite genre of music, Violence
Someone: "I don't know, I'm just not a big fan of metal..."
Mick Gordon: "You like Metal."
Someone: "I like Metal."
I loved how you synced the light to the drops! You are so in sync with the music now, you could join a band if you knew an instrument!
Idk who you are, but congrats on getting this close to the 100k
Thank you!!
@@DrewFortune97 bro congrats on getting 100k now
@@DrewFortune97 give a list of all doom songs
The chanting appears a few times throughout the soundtrack - It's not necessarily worth a video on its own, but there is a behind-the-scenes video of Mick and a huge group of excellent metal vocalists recording, as he calls it, his "metal choir":
ua-cam.com/video/lDa6hekWtdU/v-deo.html
On another note, at first they say, "kar en tuk" and then switch to "rip and tear" which is the translation.
Idk, whenever I listen to tracks like The Only Thing They Fear is You and the one in this video, Meathook, I never hear the chants saying "KAR EN TUK" anywhere, I only hear the "RIP AND TEAR". I do hear kar en tuk in the Gladiator boss ost, but is that line somewhere in these tracks as well? I know I keep seeing people saying that in the comments of those tracks and whatnot.
@@kyrem13 they change in the chants. The first section is "kar en tuk" then theres one single chant where the choir seems to be mixed and then the rest is "rip and tear" its not easy to tell but its there. But they are both in that 1 section. Just one after the other.
Omg the way he synced himself to the drop haha
If you haven't heard it already, give it a go to Metal Hell from Mick aswell
When the choir started up I think Drew had a music-gasm.
Not a single dislike, noice. Subbed fella
Those electro charged elasticated riffs that whip and ricochet about the place seek and destroy all within their path. Really enjoyed that, and shur twas me first time hearing it. Tanks for that, brotha. I like too, the dynamics of the song. We get tension mounted dips into ambient claustrophobia, before yer man launches another rocket riff that has enuff firepower to cascade the Cliffs of Moher. Sláinte, agus fán slán sa cheol. Cheers, and stay safe in the music.
Tf you on m8
@@Q-TebGamesNL fr, "have at thee, mon" headass
I read this with a Scottish accent
Damn, you recorded a lot on this day. Any Rivers Of Nihil coming up?
None recorded man. Will add them to the list!
@@DrewFortune97 Awesome, The Silent Life is awaiting you
@@DrewFortune97 do a live streaming with doom soundtrack and would spear and blood swamps and Atlantic
@@DrewFortune97 listen to the ancient gods doom soundtrack and the doom soundtrack
If you want other songs by Mick that is similar to his DOOM stuff, Check out his video called "Inferno (Cinder's Theme)" and "Polemos (Aganos' theme from Killer Instinct)". They hit just as hard as his DOOM stuff.
This man, along with all of us went on a journey when we first heard meathook
FLESH/METAL ost
FLOURISH BY THE CONTORTIONIST
Blood Swamps.... Pls
When are you gonna play eternal? Or have you already?
Not yet sir. Hopefully get to it in the new year, working on new streaming setup. 🙌🏻
@@DrewFortune97 have you played 2016 cause this vid was randomly reccomended to me and this is the first vid from you I have ever seen
@@DrewFortune97 You need to, I’d say it’s one of if not THE best FPS game ever.
@@schnoig_ no doubt about it
Mick Gordon made the soundtracks for killer instinct and they are amazing.
when listening to future Doom OSTs, I would absolutely recommend listening to Koma's mixes on UA-cam. Based off the fact that Mick has commented on their vids multiple times, I would say he approves of Koma's work.
Mastermind Doom 2016
Another amazing video 🎊🎊🎊☺️❤️
his face IS THE FEAR OF DOOM AND HELL!
You really gotta check out The Browning. Not many other bands can pull off the same thing they've got going.
You liked the choir ? Try listening to the video "The World Spear (Andrew Hulshult) - Super Heavy Fighting - The Ancient Gods part 2 OST" It is absolutely fucking HEAVY. Cheers!
the feeling of true euphoria
And to think that this track bears the name of his gun...how can someone create such a masterpiece just for an item in a game? People hear Mick's work on this and wonder how come it sounds so heavy for a game. Imagine when they find out that this track is done for a gun.
The chants are silables of words related to Doom Eternal, while it's hard to peace them together- I imagine they shouting an alien language to the words Rip and Tear. Music is a lot like art as you paint images based on what you see, only Mick Gordon would transcend the 2016 soundtrack to introduce a choir full of metal singers.
They are saying kar en tuk which translates to rip and tear from the sentinel lingo.
100k subs soon good luck
You need to do some Northlane, Bloodline, talking heads, Intuition are all great starting places I feel!
Drew! React to Ayreon please 😊 "The Day that the World Breaks Down" or "Get out now"
i don't like video games tho but still enjoyed this track...
I listen to dis on the way to work
Lol it the juicy content just keeps coming
Just subscribed. Keep it up with Doom, man.
6:20 Yo holy sh-t he f-cking died from the death metal choir
Just a suggestion but try skullhacker by mick, I personally love it
this is the song that you'd play while ripping and tearing your way through an orphanage
And at 6:21 you can see a man have his mind blown and fall in love in real time
Metal Hell is also Fantastic
better try andrew hulshult's doom stuff, specifically blood swamps: heavy combat
Bro, you should react to dooms DLC music! Blood swamps, trial of maligog, UAC facility, any of them would be great to see your reaction to it mate!
Imagine the gentleman of 1960s listening to this as a music of the future.
can't even imagine his face expression lol
Alta facha tenés chabon!
You should hear to some of Mick's older work. Inferno and I'm Back from Killer Instinct are favourites of mine and they go hard.
You are right they go hard, but they are not even close to how hard DE hits, different level
Ever headbang so hard you get a nosebleed? I did.
I like how the video ends at 9:11
DOOM. The $60 soundtrack with a free game.
Can you please do Arcane Roots "If Nothing Moves, Nothing Breaks" or anything from the EP. Their riffs and choruses are amazing! Oh and let's get that 100k!!
I bet breivik was listening to this while in Utøya
He could make a fucking hose sound good
Drew! Vektor recharging the void
You should listen to blood swamps heavy fighting
That shit is fucking insane
@@JohnR436 yep when listened to that version for the first time I've been listening to that non stop while studying 😂😂😂😂
@@JohnR436 then you should try and listen to immora by David levy
Thanks! This is better than a drug tryp :D
Agree.
BMTH in the intro!!!!
What about PERIPHERY
The ending of Omega is insane
You should check out the Hades soundtrack as well. Another great rock soundtrack not as heavy but still just as great!
You need to do Creatures of Nekravol, it’s absolutely nuts
Как же он жоско чуствует
Check out gladiator by mick gordon there's alot chanting in that. 👍
It's just a bit repetitive (imo)
I don't normally comment on any UA-cam videos but I recently subbed and upon binge watching a few of your videos and noticing the topic, I urge you to check out the ost intro for doom 3. It's short but it will blow your mind.
Did you check out the doom playlist I created. If you haven't here is the link ua-cam.com/play/PLKWGw-8DIkofbg3TFd_o8bLNWNzI9FbOZ.html
That was fucking insane 😃😃
Kar en tuk the kids
gonna need Koma's Metal Hell mix
6:06 My man just had a religious moment.
React to DOOM 3 theme, it's just amazing. you'll love it for sure.
Doom Soundtrack is the best no cap, this is nasty
Dude lost his mind 😂😂
I need the art from the thumbnail
pishki...?
Less than 200 subs left!
When you were doing the light on and off and looking around, you really reminded me of Father Dougal from Father Ted. Just trying not to look directly at anything. As an Irishman I know you'll get this reference, otherwise educate yourself!
check Mick Gordon - Creatures of Nekravol
please react to floods or hollow by pantera
2:06 😂
Man, how old is meathook? I couldn't find the original video...
Maybe "Metal Hell" next please?
Try a bit of In Maidjan by Heiling, really sick chanty style music, kinda similar sense to that chanting part.
Is it the same track that was used in the senuas saga trailer ?
@@sonumistry8577 that's the one. Great tune.
Yea very grimy.
Thornhill - Coven
if you haven't listened to it yet i would recommend Gladiator from Mick Gordon
Check out Quad Damage's cover of the Doom 3 OST ! It's great!

COOM Eternal!
BFG 10K nuff said
Can you react to ultrakill ost "infinite hyperdeath"
What about "The Super Gore Nest"
Kar En Tuk my brothers and sisters!
It's a real shame how much of a twat Mick was about the whole Chad Mossholder situation and trying to insinuate that ID was somehow to blame. Hopefully his next musical endeavor goes off without any further drama and we get some more sick tracks
We already have new composers on DOOM, Andrew Hulshult and David Levy.
Also not all composers can finish the tracks on deadlines cuz of how unique it is and cool, think the composers are working hard too and this is not gonna happen if Bethesda didn't include the fucking Cassette Tape on Collector's Edition so all of this shit Controversial won't happen and the strict deadline of course...
@@frusciantemayuga458 do some more reading on the situation. Mick broke several deadlines and ID (not Bethesda, they did not develop the game and have no role here) kept extending to give him the time he needed. Mick went diva on twitter when ID tried to please fans and finalize some of the mixing themslves. He tried to pit the fans against ID/Bethesda.
I don't know what you mean by "we already have one". One what? I said I hope we get more tracks, meaning from Mick on whatever his next project is. I am well aware of Hulshult, been listening to his work for years.
@@SlimBeebo I mean Andrew Hulshult and David Levy are the new composers on DOOM, I know about the open letter I readied that.
I hate how Doom Eternal still didn’t win best game score in GOTY but the one that won is still good
Are you by any chance Drew Durnils chad brother?
