In my Latin Class during my senior year of high school, we had running joke that we were getting mech suits. This was due to us being by construction that was going on for the remodel of our school and whenever any kind of loud construction noise happened, my teacher would tell us they were working on our mech suits.
I've had this thought in my head for some time and I'm glad I'm not the only one:
Imagine IDW's TF as humans. Whirl getting his face and hands literally chopped off, D.J.D ripping out a human's brain and putting it in his throat, Zeta draining blood out of innocent people and one of the Wreckers ripping out someone's spine and making him eat it. How more brutal could you possibly get.

well, Gundam doesn't exactly have evil factions (minus the OG making Zeon completely parallels to nazis) as the core idea of the show is that there aren't good guys or bad guys, just guys doing what they have to do
Also, if you want to understand the politics in the UC timeline to get the context, you can find video analysis that makes it more digestible for the viewer

@@Medbread The same can somewhat be applied in Gundam 00. In the first season there weren't clear bad guys until the true villian, the warmonger Sachez and the triplets were revealed. There were only 3 nations that were pretty much competing to see who's the strongest through resource and land acquisition in armed conflicts, which caused pain and suffering to those who got into the crossfire. Season 2 is where we get 2 clear bad guys: the organization A-Law who are 00's version of the Titans only they hid their corruption and horrible acts, and the Innovades lead by Ribbons who seeked to hijack Aelola's plan to become the Messiah of humanity

Watching Diamondbolt nerdgasm about mecha is the most precious thing I've ever seen.
Also Gundam Build Fighters is literally a toy commercial turned into a 25 episode anime series.
Thank God, someone who also wonders why the Power Rangers didn't start with the Megazord. Or they could've at least started with the super weapon that consisted of all their weapons.
Lewis Reviews Zordon literally tells the Rangers in the first episode not to escalate a battle unless they have to.
I think Zordon mentioned it in the very first episode that one of the "Ranger Codes" is to never escalate a fight. Some of the mechas can outright destroy the planet,but they should be reactive,not proactive.

4:24 What I usually do when I this happens is just to separate the parts very slowly. If you do it fast you'll break the part.Double check before you put the pieces back (you might accidentally put the wrong piece back) and also refer to the manual, I see alot of people who just eyeball the whole build and break the whole thing.
I do that too if I accidently put the wrong parts in. But nowadays I just seperate the parts to their respective area.

You can never go wrong with giant robots. Zoids was one I remember growing up with along with the Unicron Trilogy. I really grew to love Transformers and Voltron’s good too. I recently binged VLD and really enjoyed it.

Zoids and Megas XLR are two of my favorite giant robot series from my childhood. Zoids was basically the strange lovechild of Voltron and Pokemon, with sentient giant robot animals teaming with humans to compete in team death-matches. Then you have Megas XLR, probably the greatest American satire of the Mech Anime genre of all time full of sight gags and references to other series that is even funnier today than it was when I was a kid.

I 100% agree with everything u said! My favorite giant robots are the Super Sentai Mecha/Megazords. I grew up with ultraman and godzilla movies, so naturally I have a soft spot for guys in ruber suits beatibg the hell out of each other in miniature cities.

I'm not Diamondbolt, but thanks for hint. That's however what Michael Bay did with Transformers in order of "realism", "maturity" and lower budget (human actors cheaper than cgi robots); and while I enjoyed Bayformers for it's modern designs and darker tone compared to G1-Armada era cartoons, the most of people hated it for couple of reasons I'm not going to count.😐

attack on titan is pretty much similar to evangelion, both of them controlling a giant flesh monster. the only difference is eva use a mechanical like armor while the titan doesnt use any armor, except armored titan but it still part of his body.

That's actually the HG Gundam Epyon and they seem to be actually easy to build as since they were made many years ago the weren't able to create tiny pieces for better detail and color separation
That was the 1/144 No Grade Epyon.

Personally, my favorite giant robot is the one you pilot in Arrow Flash on the Sega genesis. Not only is it a robot that fights in space, but it also turns into a spaceship.
